The best pronounciation is that one, which puts a biggest smile on your face!
Next time you take the heatsink off, put some thermal paste (same you use on a PC processor) between the motor and the block. Helps get more heat off the motor.
Hey kev, don’t worry about people asking and feeling uncomfortable about for you say things, we all say it different, even though I’m Portuguese with a British accent, My ancestors were Indians and so is my uncle: so when Indians say it with the stereotypical accent the say: Mottarrrrr

Hey Kevin about gas powered buggy you got to get the magneto to flywheel by putting a gap tool between flywheel and coil make sure magnets up toward your coil to get spark
I fixed a couple Velineon rotors by using JB Weld on the shaft.. Just put it on there move it around to make sure you get it in there evenly.. Wipe it off and let it harden for a day or so.. It may work on a bigger motor.. Won't cost much to try.

Kev, "Swallowing letters" is called a Glottal Stop. some Italian friends of mine asked me the same thing. The things you learn on Countdown !!
I'm pretty sure brushless DC motors are in a star configuration. If you test the resistance between each winding to see if there is continuity between each other to see if it ok e.g. A-B, B-C, C-A. It looks to me like one of them failed. They should all read similar resistance's I believe. Worth a try.

Don't worry mate. I moved from Liverpool to Canada and all I get is "what?" "say that again" or "how are you going to get that tv in your boot?". Don't get rid of your music and how about a challenge. Xo1 with paddle tires across a pond 😊. 100mph across a pond would be epic!

Crashed my X-Maxx horribly 7 times now, I am talking 9+ flips wheel to wheel rolls throwing the body into the air etc.. slap the body back on and away it goes haha! Getting used to mid air flip control finally Cheers Kev!

My fan motor started making more noise and producing vibrations. I did smack the poop out of the xmaxx to cause it. I hit a hidden 4x4 in a field.

You can put some thread locker on that broken moter magnet and it will fix it just have to let it set for 24 howers I’ve done it to my slash it hazen’t broke sense

You should probably start running a bigger heatsink and a bigger fan on your higher power motors, should make them last longer without getting too hot.
Americans pronounce motor very differently depending upon where they live in the US. Motor on the west coast, moder in the south, moter in the midwest, mator in the northeast, etc
You should try to remagnatize that cilender. Tightly wrap copper wire around it and short it out with high voltage. There is better ways than what i said. That just what i do to make none magnetic tools grab things
Half the reason I watch you is for your accent. I'm American and noticed that you also say an f sound when there is a th as three you seem to pronounce it free. I dont care how you talk your damn entertaining. I dont even have an rc car. I do fly rc racing drones just here cause your fun funny and cool. Stay you man!

I am American and I pronounce motor with a prominent t usually so it just depends on your specific voice and pronunciation habits

Just out of curiosity. Do you ever check the windings with a multimeter? Because if they’re out by a couple of ohms or more, then their Donald Ducked.
If you go online and put the motor's details in, then it should say what the winding readings are and if it's a healthy motor or not.
I honestly don't think I've ever seen a multimeter in the background. Even getting a cheap pocket multimeter that's around £15 mark would be better than nothing.
I would be careful. A brushless motor shouldn't make that buzzing noise, it should be almost silent when there is no pinion on it. I've seen them blow apart and take out parts of the truck with it. It sounded ok when it was on the actual truck but I would still be a little careful with it

Rc King 18 i just was running 3s lipo on a stock ecx torment 1/18 and it took 15 minuts too burn it out have brushless in there now

Five years late, but that rebuilt motor is making the same sound as mine; the plastic housing for the motor bearing(s) is screwed, too much wiggle room. Get a metal motor end cap.
Wow I finally found a helping video I thought I burned my motor out turns out the magnet and rope around the center shaft cracked and tore everything apart inside it any ideas on how I can keep that from happening again please I’m not the wealthiest and I don’t want to spend 250 on a new motor every time

my velineon out of my slash had completely exploded it was making awful noises and i thought it was just a diff or gear kept running it until the wheels locked up seized so hard it broke the spur gear, i took it off and there was dents in the can, took it apart and the magnets were shattered and ripped the hell out the inside of the coils and whatnot..
