I would add that make sure your work surface is safe before using acetone. I was doing a project with paint pens and used acetone to clean up a spot and accidentally removed the varnish on a spot of my kitchen table!

Condensation made my oil sharpie pen completely come off after baking it for 1 hour. I'm so sad! Has anyone else had this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks Becca. I've done this using craft enamel paint and brush lettered them. The oil paint pens are more opaque. Thanks for the lesson.

I use the Decoart glass paint pens to letter on ceramics and glassware and after it's baked its top rack dishwasher safe!

You could always put modge Podge over the lettering
But what if you don't have an oven? What's the alternative?
Becca, can I use a normal pencil instead of a Stabilo Pencil?
A regular pencil won't show up nearly as well as the Stabilo. Highly recommend having one in your tool kit. :)
