just marvelous...love your method. In our culture, which is European, my ma used do this for our family.. we always made the dill cucumbers in the crock and we also did the eggs , carrots and whatever we grew in the garden....and I can tell you, it didn't take long for the veggies to disappear...thank you for your great presentation..

I have to admit, I was not into pickling but I helped my abuela prepare the colorful peppers and that feathery looking plant she grew in her patio. She pickled eggs and other stuff. I didn't like eggs when I was young. But now I need to know how to pickle eggs. 😂 Yes, apple cider vinegar was always in the cubby and so was the white vinegar and red wine vinegar. It's hard to say, because mine only last about 2-3 weeks because I only make a dozen at a time...there are so many different opinions. Keep an eye on them and make sure they look and smell good, I think they get tougher and rubbery the longer they sit. ❤
Rachel, have you ever tried steaming eggs? Put them in a steamer basket, then place over boiling water for 13 minutes then ice bath. PERFECT every time. No green inner ring. Easy peel. Love your channel.❤

I use your recipes. These are great. I like putting them in a bowl with the brine to eat. Extra juice on those eggs with a little salt and pepper? They make my eyes roll in delicious delight.
Wonderful recipes, Rachel! Thank you for sharing these. We in our home are not fond of spicy hot foods, but we have many in our family who love it spicy and hot, and the hotter the better. I can make these recipes for them to enjoy during the holidays, and send some home with them as well. Just never thought of using mustard seeds, dill, or bay leaf , but you know I’m going to have some fun now! I like to use some fresh onions, minced onions and onion powder, as each one has a distinct flavor to them. Also we use freshly minced garlic as well as throw in some whole garlic toes, and garlic powder. In some I like to add a few lemon slices, too. Adds a little zest in the mix. Green onions is a good idea, and I’ll try those in the mix next time. You have inspired me as always, and I’ll be making some delicious pickled treats. A nice end of summer gift for family and friends. Thanks for the inspiration! 🌹 PS You know the food is good when you can’t talk for eating! 😋 I like to have a pickled mix for breakfast with a toasted bagel, butter, and cream cheese. Love the onion, tomato, and cucumber mix the best. Iced chocolate creamed coffee on the side. Great way to start a morning off.🌞

If they are too fresh the membrane sticks to them. I just hard boiled 2 dozen to make deviled eggs. Some were fine, a few made me cry with frustration. Lol 😘
