I rode bulls from 1961 to 1969 at rodeos Lucile Harris worked. He was the best bull fighter in the business during that time. Saved my bacon many times during that period.
Rest in peace Mr. Harris. You are a very sweet, kind, gentle man that's going to be missed by many including me. My prayers are on the way to your family, and now you can make everyone up in heaven laugh.
I still watch and enjoy his videos to the day. Even though ive seen them all before. I didn't know Lecile personally but hes on my list of original people that wasnt made in a mold. Hes a celebrity to me. The down home country good kind of celebrity. Ted Kimzey and Leon Coffee always spoke highly of him. I always loved their characters since i was a boy.
