    Its crazy that in 2016 this song still holds true. Nobody wants to buy songs that aren't about money, cars, or about treating women like shit. This is the reason Lupe is so underrated. Nobody wants to hear the truth.

      Shut most rappers that can actually rap don't think to much of people so they dumb their music down. Also A&Rs usually tell their artist to do so.

    • @paneesh
      @paneesh 8 лет назад +7

      Agree, brother! Hip-Hop is moving away from what was supposed to be a pure artistic lyrical exhibition, to something that's cringe worthy; Do you think people are willing to listen to albums like T&Y? They need catchy songs full of consumerism and materialistic shit; They need a guy talking about drugs, treating women like objects. That's messed up.
      I will never be impressed by a rapper who brags about how many Jordan's he has, and how his women does dirty things to him like a slave. Do you think that a song like that reaches a hardworking student who's trying very hard to pay his bills? Nah I don't think so. But this Lupe's work, this shit is REAL ART. GOAT. #Respect

      @Ramz Channel No, mumble rappers just starting showing up in the last 3-4 years, the Lyricists that are older than them, like Kendrick, J. Cole, Sean, Wale, etc were already being credited with bringing back lyrcism earlier in the decade around 2011-2013, before mumble rap blew up. Lupe was before all of it though.

    Even though i don't jam lupe as much these days he will Forever and always be my favorite rapper of all time. lupe hands down is one of the most underrated artists of all time. Lupe is one of the best of all times and never got the credit that was owed and earned but Lupe has my support and has had my full attention since 2002. And I will be listening to Lupe till the day I die. A legend in my opinion. Much love fiasco you a king my dude
