I don't know which was more rewarding: watching the tutorial and enjoying the music, or Professor Tony's "Are you kidding me!?" ;D
Tony, your videos are getting better and better, as time goes on. Great stuff!
As a person new to the craft, I cant tell you how much I appreciate the small tips and pointers you give during your build videos. Makes me proud to say you're are the only patterns I've paid for :) thanks Professor Tony
Tony, your videos are my all-time favorite to watch! You make it all so simple and concise! I love it!
I can't wait for your tools video!
This was my first bag i attempted and as long as you follow the instructions it will come out awesome
I'm not a purse girl by any stretch of the imagination, but I would totally carry this bag. Looks like a great size! Love the different flap design options.
Working and watching leather is very soothing but hearing your voice adds an extra level plus your patterns are great
This is so great. Thank you
Tony, I’m a rank novice in leatherwork. While I know I can pick whatever leather I want, I’d benefit greatly if you would say what leather and weight you use; maybe in the project notes or in the video. In the past I’ve made some inappropriate leather selections and it really made the build more difficult. Thanks.
His patterns usually say on the printable version what wait they recommend. But a whole, Toni recommends 5-6 oz leather, and mostly a mix between vegetable tan and chrome tan leathers.
I have made two of these now, and both are spectacular . For the handle, I made a crossbody long strap and this purse is so comfortable to use. The pattern is perfect. Thank you so very much.
Professor Tony, you have got to make a vid on how to do that needle holder!
Thank you!
Do NOT mess with Professor Tony!
BTW, stitching leather with a machine requires a machine that is quite a bit more robust than a regular machine you might sew a dress or curtains with, so you're often talking about a lot of money. Also, in some ways, it's more difficult to use a machine in very tight spots. I doubt that you could successfully use a machine for this whole project. Besides, at the end of it all, you get to give away or sell a wonderful hand-stitched piece of work- and who wouldn't want to own something like that? < grin >
Thanks for your awesome videos, Tony!
As usual, Professor Tony didn’t disappoint with his coolness. The bag design is perfect in it’s size and simplicity. I already downloaded the FREE pattern because I’ve been subscribed for awhile now and totally enjoy every video. Thanks!!!
Tony, very good video. I bought the bag, I think my wife will be happy. Greetings from Chile (South America).
Next tutorial AWESOME! Thx, Tony!
عمل رائع وممتاز وتحفة فنية رائعة ومجهود فائق تستحق عليه الشكر والتقدير والاحترام لشخصكم الغالى والمبدع والفنان المتألق دائماً؛
Lovely pattern, Tony. Can't wait to try it out. I just have to get some hardware for it. 🙂
Professor Tony, I already have the glasses so maybe one day I'll be as cool as you...
Another high class lesson from our Master.
There are so many beautiful projects you've done, I loved them all and this also, very nice and thanks for the tutorials.
How can I be as cool, if not cooler, than Professor Tony?
Don’t wear bow ties?
Great video. They are getting really good.
I think I see a leather bow tie!!
Hello Tony very nice to see how teaching
Thanks Tony.
Would love to have a pocket inside. Beautiful style and love the teaching. Thank you.
Merci professeur, quel beau travail, tout en humour !
Simple but yet classy. Grazie Antonio. Blessings on you and your family.
Great, now I've got to make another bag for my wife. Thanks a lot :P
Another great video Tony, and you solved a design problem i've been thinking about, without even knowing it.
Hi wow what a really nice bag
The man! Awesome!!
Awesome bag!
Great design and tutorial. Thank you, I appreciate all you have shared with us, I am becoming a better leather crafter.
Grazie proverò a realizzare questa meraviglia
I love this video!! That Professor clip made me laugh so hard!!
Applause ! Applause ! ! Applause ! ! !
This guy cracks me up!!🤣
That’s exactly how I feel about machine vs hand stitch and why I will always hand stitch.
My daughter wants a unicorn build as she is mad on ponies and loves to watch your videos with me
Yours Simon
Great work 👍
Nice video and appreciate your explanation with the diamond versus the round hole chisels. Just in time for Christmas gifts for the nieces. Keep up the great work Tony.
Mr. Tony sir you just saved me with this pattern pack and just how does one get to be as cool, suave & sophisticated as professor Tony?
I missed the free download, I was on a Fishing Charter, so I'll be happy to give Tony my money for this wonderful purse pattern!!
Hi, I just ordered the pattern from Etsy and I am looking forward to my first leather project !
nice design and pattern, and a great video as always. Tony, I enjoy the music in your videos, do you have a spotify playlist or similar that you could share? Many thanks
Congratulación Toni
Thanks for the video Tony. Do you have a tutorial for how to put the shoulder strap together? Thanks
FANTASTIC !!!
excellent
This is the best of all your videos...❤️❤️❤️
I love watching your videos and I love the products and really admire you, but when I see Professor Tony (and i'm sorry for this) but I can't help thinking you're going to say "say hello to my lil friend," Keep up the fantastic work. God Bless.
Beatuful
Nice bag...great tutorial...what else? Thanks Tony
Fekin awesome 👌 👏 😎.......as always Guvna
WOOOO HOOOO YEA BABY YEAAAA
i really love that bag Tony!! the color combo is absolutely perfect!! my wife wants me to make her one, only one problem.. stupid covid-19 has the leather shop closed down.....
How can I be as cool or if not cooler then Professor Tony?
Alas, we poor mere mortals will never make it to his level of Coolness. (LOL)
I wanted to know how to be as cool as Professor Tony :(
Purchased the plans, but there is only one design to make the bag not the others. Have used many of your patterns and those that I have given the articles to have loved them. Patterns I downloaded are getting harder to make, but that just improves my work. Just finished the RED backpack for my grandson. Toughest one so far.
If you bought the pattern all the versions are there. PM me if you can’t find them
Another awesome pattern! can you some day create a skull shaped bag or sometheng similar? by the way I also wonder how can I be as cool as Professor Tony.
This is great!
Has anyone made one....what thickness leather did you use/or recommend?? THANKS!!
Beautiful i love it. Tony .........can you make a design for a Scottish Sporran? Its a decorative pouch for a kilt. I only want to make one if you've have designed it lol.
Haha! Great answer, Professor Tony, in a great manner! I guess how many times you asked about that! :D
I think that this question is raised by people who can't learn manual stitching or don't know that they just need to learn it. First thing that I did, it was a fleurdelisbag, and I noticed that sometimes stitch jumps. I carefully stepped back to the place where it started to jump and go forward again, but at third time I think that there must be a something, a "secret" and go to seek in a google. There are several methods, I choose one for me that I liked.
Best Wishes, Tony! You're cool!
Besides I paused a leather hobby in favor of electronics hobby and there are other things happening now in our country, I dreaming to do something in a leather and hope it will be in a near future.
P.S. Nice bag!
Excelente trabajo me gusta.
The beginning of this had me rolling. I can only imagine what the crap someone said that set you off.
Hello Tony, as a person wanting to get into leather craft I have watched lots and lots and lots, of (mostly yours) leather craft videos. What I have noticed is most, if not all use glue as well as stiching. You do not, why is that? Is it a choice you have made, or something you think is not necessary. Thank you for your funny and informative videos. This might be a question for Professor Tony.
He uses glue for things that are stressed like zippers. The saddle stitch is strong enough, if the thread breaks the glue wont hold it either. Less messy too
I'll ask... Professor Tony, how can i be as cool as you?
what type of thread did you use?round or flat? size?
Whats the size of the D rings? And the dog hook, please?
Planning to buy thr pattern! Awesome job as always tony! However, Im have a ng a problem, whenever I punch the holes, some papers are left on the leather. How do I remove those professor tony?
Hi Tony, thanks again for another great tutorial!! Question for you ~ please pardon me if this has been asked a gazillion times, but: What brand, type and mm thread you are using in this current tutorial??? Also, is this typical of the mm or type / brand? Thanks again, Tony for all you do for we leather crafters.
do you offer lessons? would you ever post a tutorial video
Tony, do you have a rule of thumb regarding how long a piece of thread is required to stitch X number of inches?
Most leather workers say 7-9 times the length of the stitch line.
Please could you tell me what kind of leather you use and what thickness. Thank you
Waiting..
What kind of thread do you use? On the video it looks rather thick but I know how a vido can fool you on measurement. And, what meterial is the best to use, synthetic or linen? I use both but I'm also aware of that linen can degenerate after many years of use, which is not the case for synthetic thread. But, it always feels better with natural material.
El señor de este video se parece a Ricardo Arjona
Tony, how many holes the guset has to have on one side( and both panels too)?Ive counted 104 for the panels and only 102 on the guset.please correct if I’m wrong. Tx
Great video ,by the way!👍
That's exactly what I counted and have sew the panel to the gusset and came up short on the end.
in case anyone else runs into this issue, the gusset should have 104 holes. Even though I had my printer set for actual size, it had cut off a set of holes on two of the pattern pieces. I reprinted and manually added the missing holes.
Can the gusset be on the outside or does it need to be on the inside because of the strap pieces?
I guess you can place it on the outside, no worries
@@DieselpunkRo Thanks! I’ll post a picture once I complete. I’m using chrome leather for the body and veg tan for the gusset. I wanted the edge of the veg tan to be visible, that’s why I asked. Thanks again. By the way, I love your patterns and videos!
Great job. very new beginner here . Are you using blunt needles or sharp ones. I noticed on some videos sharp needles are used for many layers of leather
I used blunt needles
Тони! Откуда ты?
Where are you from?
Another great pattern sir. I'm buying it as soon as this video is over. I'm opening an Amazon Shop in the next month and I hope to sell this bag and a few others that I'll be making with your patterns. As they sell I'll be sending you your share as you request on the pattern pages. I'll also be naming you as the bag designer with a link to your channel if you approve? Much respect and thanks.
Fantastic!
Out of curiosity, what is Tony's share for selling a bag made from his pattern?
@@maxgilbert18 When you sell a bag, you re-order the pattern...so it's the price of the pattern. Myself, I'm just going to send the money via paypal.
What needles are you using please?
Hey Tony, question for you. What is the pattern software that you use? Do you use a designer program like affinity or adobe illustrator, or more of a 3D CAD like fusion 360 or something. Please if you can let me know. Love the work you do and I enjoy the patterns you have made available.
autocad
ULTRA SUGGESTION... Do an entire video as Professor Tony - 100% arrogance and attitude thrown in.. PLEEEEAAASE!!! IM BEGGING YOU!! 🤣🤣
Aside from that... You're still the coolest cat in the sandbox and keep up the good work!
O.k, I found the info!!
13:06...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where do I order the pattern?
I really like your instructions and patterns but I have a question/ minor gripe. Do you offer any acrylic templates? I'm very interested in buying well honestly one of each of patterns but I very much prefer acrylic templates over pdf so I'm more than willing to pay extra for the upgrade. Thank you.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What is the name of this program on the computer for designing models, would you give me its name and be thankful to you?
I'm not Tony but I will answer anyhow :-) There are several graphic design programs. Corel draw has been out for 29 years but today I guess you use adobe InDesign. There are also very very tricky architect design programs which have a very high learning threshold before you can use it. Adobe InDesign is expensive. Runs on Mac or Windows.
Thank you very much for the help
yup yup aha
Can we do a build along?
if you can keep up with the video :p
@@DieselpunkRo can you keep up with me is the question
How to swich broke less for this bag plz 🙏 tell me plz
I super appreciate what you do for people..... but good god. 6 ads in a 30 min video????
You do realize I don’t control the ads right?
@@DieselpunkRo ahh gotcha, one of those not my problem things?? Lololol
OMG the ads in this Vid lol
Professor Tony is hot,😎
You make me laugh dude
