For a minute there I thought you were gonna actually cast it in bronze.
Loved the little guy just curious about the whole process and the little paw going into the plaster 😂
My cat loves plaster very much, he always wants to roll around in it
Great job, impossible to make without the help of the cat 😀
Thank you! 😊
The lil shit was a nuisance 😂
Turns out, you CAN 3D print the Power of Christ.
If that compels you...
Power of Crist = ( Force of Crist * Way of Crist)/Time of Crist
Why you think the channel is called "Do as I do", not do as I say?
Priest: the owner of CHRIST compells you!!!
Asst Priest: hang on it's still printing, the g-code was corrupted. Sorry!

Nananana, this is great, a pure piece of patience and skill.
Thank you so much!
Sir really great method, with this method less Epoxy more tiny details we can get
Thank you again for your wonderful teaching
Thank you! I'm very glad that you liked my video!
You and your assistant did a great job.
Thank you very much, I am glad that you liked our work! 😊
Great video, great results, and an even greater (and curious) assistant!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful results! And who are you kidding, that's not your assistant, it's your boss. lol
Thank you very much! That's for sure!😁
Comes up quite stunning.
I'm very glad you liked it! Thank you very much!
You are crazy, so much effort is perfect
Thank you very much!
I’m amazed the cat didn’t try to lay in the mold itself. Mine would have within 10 seconds. 🐈 📥
Neat video, gives me many ideas. Thank you!
Thank you very much! 😁
Bonne continuation.
The cat wanted to take part in the modeling and casting. We wish you all the best.
Thank you very much!
tu gato - precioso .
Muchas gracias!
Oh wow that is gorgeous!
Thank you very much!
Impressive results.
Thank you!

Instead of wire you can sink a hanging fixture while casting
The Cat is awesom. 🤣
😊
Congratulations for your work
Thank you very much!
I had no idea the mold making process was so involved!
It's actually not as difficult as it might seem
Perfect and Amazing ❤Great Job 👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much!
The cat, my friend, is not your devoted assistant, it is your devoted director and he likes to steal camera because it is the cat's project.
😊👍
Absolutely amazing
Thank you very much!
@09:13, cat's sniffing coke😂
Beautiful work!
Thank you very much!
3d printed religion
Amazing result 👏

Wonderful video and beautiful cat!
Thank you very much!
the cat was trying to help you lol
She always tries to help me 😊
But as far as assistance go you found a cute one
Thank you!
Excellent work. I’m impressed. 👌🏾
Much appreciated!
Qué chulo.
Amazing
Thank you very much!
Congratulations for this project! Very useful and pleasant to watch.
Thank you very much!
Nice, it came out great
Thank you very much!
Good job except for the string on the back. You should use picture hanging wire.
Thank you very much!
Very good job!
Thank you very much!
@@DoasIDo2 Good morning,
starting 3d printing, Do you use school glue to improve the bonding layer? It works well?
THANKS.
Yes, I always use school glue, it works great. But not every glue is good for this, you need to choose the optimal one.
Buen tutorial. Pero la asistente se ganó el 👍
Muchas gracias!
Amazing!
👍
Thank you very much! 😊
Really nice technique and great results. My only suggestion would be to cast the hanging brackets in place. The bits of cardboard and string don't do justice to the quality work you did on this. Also-I never ever trust glue alone for hanging anything heavier than a paper airplane.
Thank you very much for appreciating my work and thanks for the advice!
Özenli çalışma 😊
Teşekkür ederim!
awesome, save it for latter project, but its hard to find all the materian in my place.
I love it!!
motivate me to work...
More fun to cast in a real metal
Amazing! ☦🙏
Thank you very much!
Just wow.😮
Thank you very much!
l like that cat😂
Really cool process but I would add wall hangers at the stage of filling the form. These glue gun ropes looks absolutely not convincing
Thank you very much! Yes, I agree with you. I completely forgot about the hangers when I was pouring the plaster, so I had to improvise. But I admit, these hangers with glue turned out to be quite reliable
Superb ❤
Thanks 🤗
nice
Thank you!
isn't it too much material cost? this is perfection and a fantastic job by the way....
Thank you very much! In fact, the costs are not as much as it might seem.
Micio!
😊
Print it in one piece, come on, it’s 2024 😅

Help of the cat!!!!
i love that we can just order WAX 3d printer filament , and it comes out like a crazy candle, wecould porobly even probnt insane wax candles that way , this is just sio amazing to be able to use tjhese to cast silicon molds tho

This is amazing. But why not skip the mould making process and just print it inverted, perhapse out of TPU for the ability to bend the mold once printed
Thank you very much! It is with this arrangement that the print quality is as high as possible. And with TPU it's a good idea!
WOW
Thank you!
Is the plaster base just for supporting the silicone mold? • Would this silicone mold also be appropriate for making a wax pattern?
Yes, plaster is needed here only to support the shape. Of course, you can pour wax into this mold
13:46 wow looks like chocolate or silver, looks fun to touch, it seems so familiar too, very christmasy, so how many silicon molds can you make from 1 3d printed wax mold anmd cant you just use regular pla to make a silicon mold? and then youc an pour molten metal intoa silicon mold righty?
Yes, you can use a ready-made plate to make a silicone mold. I only make castings from plaster so far; I haven’t gotten to metal casting yet.
Great stuff! Why do you print it vertically? Better definition of surface structure? Thanks
Thank you very much! With this printing arrangement, the model turns out to be of higher quality.
what brand of paint do you use?
With a 8k resin printer you can achieve the same smoothness with better details, Flex resin makes the mold directly with no negative.
Thanks I know. I'm saving money to buy a resin printer.
Resin prints have a tendency to inhibit the silicone from curing. It can be done but a lot more prep is needed in sealing the surface. PLA is a great choice in this case.
@@williamkimmick3977 They do require a curing step after the print is done either by UV light or sun light.
@@williamkimmick3977 Thank you very much for the advice!
The catscan lets you see if there's any bubbles inside the casting.
😁👍
Material and tools... (20) 1 cat for help :)
😁
you defenetly need sla printer
Sooner or later I will buy it
Too bad the build volumes for SLA printers are relatively much smaller than FDM… :(
For this print, FDM wins even though there is a bit more clean up to get close to SLA resolution
@@blakeXYZ a bit? realy? did you see difference yourself? Its much much more simple to divide almost any specimen to pieces aтв join them after printing.
@@HoobriBoobri what resin printer do you recommend for this build volume? And price of that printer vs mk3?
All that just to hot glue some string to the back come on now lol
Absolutely splendid! how much is one item/Icon?
Thank you very much! I haven’t sold them yet, but if I did, I think they would cost 20 dollars.
Who ever need something like that xD
Judging by the views and likes, this is interesting to many people. I also thought that few people would be interested in this.
Duplikat: drive.google.com/file/d/1kW9kIbIqwhTJbuhfEVbvoWWChcB1yARg/view?usp=sharing
everything was pretty good up until you used hot glue to attach rope to that heavy plaster as a way to hang it. All that work will be on the floor not too long after hanging
Thank you very much! It was a spontaneous decision, I don't do that anymore
was it the acrylic lacquer that melted the plastic to remove the layer lines on the initial print?
Acrylic varnish will not melt plastic. Plastic will melt dichloromethane
to take away please. was about to do pretty much this :D
Wow, this comes at the perfect time for a project I want to make! Thank you!
Can I ask what the different colors of silicone meant? You started out with a red/peach, and then moved to a blue for the second pour, and then an even deeper blue for the last
Thank you for the inspiration!
Thank you very much! Different colors of silicone are needed so that I can see where I applied it. If the silicone is the same color, then when applying the second and third layers it is difficult to see where the silicone is and where it is not. I hope I explained it well
@@DoasIDo2 Explained very well! I never thought of that, but I can see how that is something that could be an issue. Thank you for the tip!
Hello. Great job! I'm interested in making my 3d prints in metal. What would be a good material for making a mould that would endure hot metal while giving a "high definition", sharp imprint? I'd imagine silicone moulds would burn/melt? So If anyone has tried it out I'd be keen to hear your thoughts, thank you
Hello! Thank you very much! I heard that there is silicone for making metal casting molds. Search the Internet, you'll probably find it.
@@DoasIDo2 Wow, didn't know that, glad I asked. I will search around and see if I find it. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my message.
@@DoasIDo2 Any ideas on how to pressure inject melted plastic/metal into a mold? So it would reach every nook and cranny inside the mold and wouldn't leave air bubbles?
Hello, can you tell me what chemical did you use for mold
Hello! I used liquid silicone to make the mold with a hardness of 20. The manufacturer of the silicone does not matter
The cat was working hard it had to wash up at the end of the project.
😁👍
Are there reasons for making this mold in so many different layers? • If so, what are they.
If you have a lot of cheap silicone, then you can fill it with one continuous word. For me, silicone is expensive, and in order to save money, I applied 3 thin layers, thereby saving 70%
Do you have any idea of the time required to make these items, starting with the 3D printing? • Also, do you have the time and material costs for this project?
To be honest, I didn’t count the time and expenses for this project, so I can’t answer your question.
Hello.
Which 3d printer do you use
Hello! Original Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printer
where did you find the model?
I found the model somewhere on the Internet. If you want it, you can download it, the link is in the description.
Can it also print indulgences?
And what do you think?
What is the degreaser for?
The degreaser removes dust, greasy fingerprints and other contaminants. So that in the future the paint will adhere well to the model.
please tell me what kind of silicone you use
I use silicone made in China with a hardness of 30 shore units.
which printer are you using
I use: Original Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printer
wah, hasil nya good bro,
hasil cetaknya great
Terima kasih banyak!
Thank you , I am a novice at 3d I know how to prep patterns and I use a primer paint that dries glossy to save time . Do you have #3d files for sale !
Thank you! You can download the 3d model for free: drive.google.com/file/d/1kW9kIbIqwhTJbuhfEVbvoWWChcB1yARg/view?usp=sharing
dumb question, why breaking the mold in 3 pieces, if it looks like it fit the 3d printer height?? thanks
That's a good question. I did this to save plastic, so as not to print supports at full height. Printing the entire icon at once is dangerous; the printer may malfunction and a lot of material will be wasted.
Cat is super! 😂😂😂❤
Why did you choose this orientation for printing?
This ensures the highest quality printing possible.
How does your clear glue stick make black glue? 😲🤔
At first I had a black rod, when it was shortened I installed a white one, but the black one was still inside the gun.
