For a minute there I thought you were gonna actually cast it in bronze. Loved the little guy just curious about the whole process and the little paw going into the plaster 😂
Goodness, your kitty was all up in this project! When that paw went into the powder you were measuring I lost it laughing! Your finished products looked pretty good.
I really appreciate how you achieved such a high-quality smooth finish on the 3D-printed part and all those technical details and techniques However, please make sure to keep the cat away, as the fumes can be harmful to animals, especially since they are more sensitive to smells❤🐱
This is a wonderful tutorial, thorough, well presented and thoughtfully constructed. Your knowledge and love of your craft is exemplified by how well you can teach it to a layman. I wish you abundance. Thank you!
How about printing on the model using a Rolland or mimakki or a canon UV FLATBED printing service just after taking it out from silicon mould, I just shared my plan idea I am going to do , but if you do it's called professionalism... 🎉🎉🎉😊❤❤
Bonne continuation. The cat wanted to take part in the modeling and casting. We wish you all the best.
Excellent process and lovely finish. My 'devoted assistants' are also far too interested when i'm printing, mould-making or resin-casting, they're no longer allowed in the workshop :) I make and sell coasters and coaster holders so my shapes are far simpler than the piece you have here, i 3d print them, coat them in epoxy resin to smooth the print and then make the silicone moulds from that. Liked and subbed :)
Thank you very much for appreciating my work! Your option is interesting, I want to try it too. Thank you very much for subscribing and good luck to you!
Beautiful work my friend, I love it Painting just a thin layer of silicone at the beginning to make curing faster and getting rid of the bubbles easier was very smart of you as well! And I bet the cat couldn't wait to pee inside the alabaster dust hhehheeh
Very cool video. Really good to see a complete process of someone's art. The wall mount kinda freaks me out - only takes a short fall to smash plaster and all that work is gone. I'd be drilling some holes and adding a rigid fastener. Nice job.
Really nice technique and great results. My only suggestion would be to cast the hanging brackets in place. The bits of cardboard and string don't do justice to the quality work you did on this. Also-I never ever trust glue alone for hanging anything heavier than a paper airplane.
13:46 wow looks like chocolate or silver, looks fun to touch, it seems so familiar too, very christmasy, so how many silicon molds can you make from 1 3d printed wax mold anmd cant you just use regular pla to make a silicon mold? and then youc an pour molten metal intoa silicon mold righty?
You know, i thought it'd look like Crap with how much THICK Primer you put on it, but i actually like the smoothed over look. it took the 3D Print lines off completely!
I really liked to see your process great video. However, your faithful assistant stole the show! Can I ask why you did all that really excellent work only to leave the cardboard covers for the hanging on the back untouched? It would have made sense to spend 5 mins with a little acrylic paint even just painting them black. To tie in with the background colour.
Hello, realy nice work. One question, what kind of softwares do you use to prepair it for 3D reliefs print out, or do you simply find finished product on the internet and print it out.
Wow, this comes at the perfect time for a project I want to make! Thank you! Can I ask what the different colors of silicone meant? You started out with a red/peach, and then moved to a blue for the second pour, and then an even deeper blue for the last Thank you for the inspiration!
Thank you very much! Different colors of silicone are needed so that I can see where I applied it. If the silicone is the same color, then when applying the second and third layers it is difficult to see where the silicone is and where it is not. I hope I explained it well
Thanks
Wow! Thank you so much for the donation! In fact, you are the first one who clicked super thanks! I am very happy! ☺😍
Great job, impossible to make without the help of the cat 😀

My cat loves plaster very much, he always wants to roll around in it
Very smart way to save on silicone, using plaster to create the bulk of the mould. Usually people just pour the whole thing in silicone. Well done
Thank you!
You and your assistant did a great job.

Hi, there.
Which nozzle size did you use?
Thanks.
@@mikekiske Hello! I used a 0.2mm nozzle and printed with a 0.1mm layer

Sir really great method, with this method less Epoxy more tiny details we can get
Thank you again for your wonderful teaching

I’m amazed the cat didn’t try to lay in the mold itself. Mine would have within 10 seconds. 🐈 📥
Neat video, gives me many ideas. Thank you!

AMAZING work by the way!!! Thank you for putting the materials on screen!

❤❤❤ a lot of work stay strong and remember theat artists feel what money cant buy.
Great video. I appreciate the "show don't tell" format. Have you considered using gold or silver leaf as a finish? That would look amazing.
Thank you very much! Yes, I will be making videos on gilding and silvering in the future.

Turns out, you CAN 3D print the Power of Christ.
If that compels you...
Power of Crist = ( Force of Crist * Way of Crist)/Time of Crist
Why you think the channel is called "Do as I do", not do as I say?
Priest: the owner of CHRIST compells you!!!
Asst Priest: hang on it's still printing, the g-code was corrupted. Sorry!

Yes, you can use a ready-made plate to make a silicone mold. I only make castings from plaster so far; I haven’t gotten to metal casting yet.
