I can't see TOOL live anymore but this recording is a goddamn good substitute and I thank you. Their graphic show alone is epic, let alone their incredible musicianship. Can't thank you enough for this.
They always put on an amazing show, and this only captures a fraction of it. I don't know your situation, but I am glad I could help facilitate getting this to you.
as far as I'm concerned, invincible and lateralus are the two best songs tool has ever done. and i mean this with all due respect to everything else they've ever done. this band is fucking incredible. maynards singing of invincible here is fucking incredible. i have no idea why joe baressi decided to compress/limit/outright gut all the juicy frequencies out of adam's amps during the heavy parts of invincible on the album. when the big metal part kicks in live, it absolutely fucking ssshhhhrrrreeeeddddsssss. it's tool's death metal moment. on the album, joe baressi used adams fucking clean channel for that part. what the fuck. but yeah, this song is absolutely amazing
I love Invincible and Lateralus with all my heart. Both are incredibly beautiful songs. So fn tremendous. However, I feel that there are so many songs within the Tool cannon that are equally important. Descending, Disposition, Reflection, the grudge, Schism, Tools' version of the Zeppelin classic No Quarter. Not a Tool song, I know, but it's so STUNNING. Wings for Marie pts I & II, Right in two I can go on and on. Tool is a band known for creating absolute masterpieces. They cannot possibly have just two.
Best concert I've ever seen. This exact one. How the fuck a venue can be damn near as good as the artist? I'll never know. Boston, you fucking rock. Tool, well that's a given.

Maynard's clean singing is so incredibly melodic
In dallas we got part of me. Its the first song i learned to play on guitar so it hit me in the feels lol
Let's talk about how Justin Chancellor is Badass here?
Why just here?
He always is
The first leg of the tour was lucky to have this song in their list. I feel Invincible live was much better than Descending live.
We got both at Boston didn’t we?
One comentary
Gradually Keenans ego grew so big that he cant be seen on the front of the band Called Tool .
