Shin Box Exercise for Hip Mobility

  • The shin box or 90/90 hip rotation drill is a great drill to get more hip mobility. In this exercise start seated on the floor with your knees bent. Then bring both knees to one side to the ground. Try to keep a 90 degree angle at the knee and hip. When over to one side it should look like your legs are forming a box. then rotate box legs simultaneously over to the opposite side. This is a great exercise because it facilitates both internal rotation and external rotation at the hip.
