My raised beds r in my front yard n it sparks conversations w neighbors i would otherwise b 2 shy to meet. It also allows me to play santa w my young n very old neighbors as well as the vet. No one turns down home grown tomatoes. I usually hear 'salsa at lunch' when i bring them by. Sharing lifts my heart. ;) I also enjoy watching butterflies n hummingbirds, bees n birds share in flitting about my bounty.

It's got to be hard for type A personalities who have to conscientiously stop to chill and relax for a moment. Never been my problem 😏. I adore the seating area in my garden for contemplative breaks, and I also use it like another room in the house for entertaining. 💚

I have this conversation with people several times a week. Gardening is the cornerstone of my social life and has allowed me to build more community in my neighborhood through sharing things lik strawberry runnners.... No question it's the only thing keeping me "sane."

Oh I'm so excited to start propagating things to give to friends and family! I have a fig tree that came with the house and I want to take cuttings for trees I can use for the fruit without taking the whole tree from the animals in the area.

I am 100% just going with the flow for things at the moment. I have limits because most stuff will have to be aboe to move with us whenever we get a better place, but I am excited. One of my cucumber starts had twins! I separated them very carefully after true leaves were established and so far they are doing well. Also five watermelon plants, idk what im going to do about that.

My teeth started shifting back in college when my retainer broke - unfortunately you have to wear a retainer at night forever if you don't want them shifting back. 😵
