CHOCOLATE PORRIDGE (Oatmeal)
Ami's version: 1 ripe banana, 1/3 pkg silken tofu, Cocoa powder, miso, water (a few cups depending on how thin/thick you like your porridge), & 1 Cup rolled oats. Optional a date or so. Heat & cook on the stovetop. To garnish 1 cup of cherries & optionally PB powder & or maple syrup & cocoa powder.
Children's version: milk made with - 2 bananas, 1 cup chickpeas, dates, cocoa powder (or carob powder), & water. Place milk in a pan with rolled oats. Optionally add PB powder or peanut butter.

RICE PAPER ROLLS served on lettuce boats with Dipping Sauce
Stir-fry: grated purple cabbage & tofu, finely diced mushrooms, garlic, ginger, & soy sauce. Cook on the stovetop. When cooled place this mixture inside rice paper. Serve inside lettuce boats with a dipping sauce.
Dipping Sauce: equal parts soy sauce, maple syrup & rice vinegar & garnish with sesame seeds.

I just found your channel and I love it. I try to eat as vegan as possible. I too try to use up all the leftover veggies . Your daughters are adorable! I wish I had discovered whole food plant based eating when my girls were little. My daughters are in their 30's and are Health and Wellness Teachers. One in HS and the other in Middle School, both in the US.Your daughters are lucky to start so young.

All great tasty ideas to try, a few pointers to take note...
* when making soup, chop onions n garlic in2 chunks a cook in covered pot with 1 tablspn of sunflr oil until they get smoke and brownish, then add the veg n water to cook...thats where the extra punch flavour comes from. Once its finished boiling, switch off and then add the broccoli. When broccoli is over cooked, its nutritionaly pointless.
* the tortilla wrap that you toasted, is actualy middle eastern arabic wheat bread. To save time, seperate the 2halves, cut into sqaires, layout on a baking sheet, toast and store in an airtight container for future use.
* I dont know if you edit it out, or not film it(?)... but hoping you might clean your veg n fruit a bit before eating

Please refrigerate leftover rice. It’s not safe to leave it out overnight. You can look up the food safety facts.

Depends on the climate and season. I live in qld australia so it's a hard no. But if I lived in south Tasmania, I wouldn't be concerned.

Great video as always. I started increasing my steps about 8 weeks ago. Get between 15,000 and 20000 a day helped by my dog walks and ‘Get fit with Rick’ RUclips videos that are great fun and an easy way to increase step count. ❤

I think you are absolutely wonderful Ami but I have noticed that you seem to be focusing on calories rather a lot, something you said you didnt want to do.Please dont lose any more weight you did have a lovely little figure but are looking a bit skinny of late.
She's mentioned she's on a bit of a cut and is trying to build muscle. She's working with a coach herself I believe. Please bear in mind that telling someone they "look skinny" can come across as offensive. I'm sure your message comes from a place of love ❤️
Yeah..I felt the same .. she's focusing on calories a bit too much..
Just a couple of weeks ago, she looked great (really muscular, fuller face and a great physique ..maybe a bit of tummy fat (which is still lingering..but it was normal for a woman who gave birth to two beautiful children)) but she announced that she'll be cutting calories becuz she's "gained weight" but that could've been muscle...
As much as I love watching her, i don't think she eats enough calories or protein (she did a couple of weeks ago..) which can be pretty detrimental to her own mental health and those who watch her content..
She's so wholesome but she really needs to eat a bit more fat ..we need fat from whole foods like nuts and seeds ...

Dear Amy I hope you stop giving your children so much caffeine. I think you forget coco and raw chocolate have high levels of adrenal destroying caffeine. Too much for children esp young children. You are over stimulating the palette and adrenals.
a last someone else can see this, also the vanilla extract she uses has alcohol in it, not good for sml children and she adds it to everything sweet, adds up over the week, and let's talk about the amount of soya she eats in this video she's opened 3 blocks of tofu, crazy and not healthy
It is not the same amount of caffeine that is in coffee.
It is tiny amounts....vanilla a tsp per recipe at best?? And chocolate/cacao also small amounts and much better than processed junk. Really are these comments necessary....glass houses and all that....
