    Amazing video. Perfect to see man. I coach out of my local gym so that really cut the cost of starting my own class. This was started about 1.5 years ago and We’ve got about 10 solid regulars right now. Definitely looking to open up my own spot one day. I think all of us boxing coaches agree on one thing, it’s not about the money. Bonding with your soldiers and watching everyone grow and develop and learn life together is something we will all remember for the rest of our lives

      @@imperiumboxing4385 I don’t know anything about pricing but if a gym is offering 50$ for a private 30min session would that be worth it??

    Thank you so much for this video coach!!
    I myself am planning on openning my own MMA gym back in The Netherlands.
    The fight gym business is a closed one that coaches go to with no available information to be ready for what’s to come..
    I hope it would be okay with you if we could connect & i could ask a couple of questions that could really help with my process of openning in here.
    Again appreciate the help & infos coach!!
    Good luck with the gym & all your fighters!

    Great video thank you !
    I’ve been training Martial Arts since 1996 and loved competing and travelling around with the team and going to fights and tournaments and all that.
    But something inside me always wanted to have my own gym.
    I waiting quite some time and really focused on Muay Thai to try to learn as much as I can and better myself as a Martial Artist before opening up a gym.
    In 2021 I started up Top Notch in my boxing Coaches gym and in April I’m finally taking the leap and signed papers for my 1st very own Muay Thai gym.
    This is something I’ve looked forward to for many many years now. I’ve put my heart into this Art. Lost girlfriends, broke bones, concussions, missed out on things because of training.
    But I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is the life for me, I’m really the happiest when I’m in the gym training and teaching 🙏🏼
    I feel if you love the Art and you really want to have a gym, just start off small teach privates and slowly grow your clients and one day that dream will come true if you stay true to the Art and your teachings.
    Got give up, keep pushing forward and believe in yourself and the time you’ve put in.
    🙏🏼

    Hello,
    I want to build a simple boxing gym primarily for personal use. I am a big fan and practitioner of the sport for a long time though i don't officially compete. I use it as a main means to keep my body fit. Boxing has also been one of my primary stress reliever.
    I plan on initially putting in the ff equipments:
    1) 1 16ft x 16ft Low Platform Boxing Gym
    2) 1 Speed Ball
    3) 1 Big Suspended Heavy Bag
    4) 1 Double End Ball
    5) Simple Weights Set
    Given the cost that this will require, do you think that it's worthwhile even if i won't earn any profit from it?

    Thanks for the video. Great information. I would think that the rent for the space would be the biggest cost. At this point I would have to live at the gym to avoid paying two payments. Concerning dues, what do you do for that topic?

    • @imperiumboxing4385

      You mean how do I price my memberships or how do I plan to make rent each month?

    • @garrettboyd1000
      @garrettboyd1000 Год назад

      @@imperiumboxing4385 the latter. If one is renting and looking to buy a gym too, that could get pricey. I’d have to fix a room up at the gym to avoid paying two rents.

    I’ll be honest I’m not a boxer I’m a college student looking for a way to make passive income. I think the specific small college town I live in lacks this type of fitness studio. I feel like it is something the town could benefit from. I would of course have to get an SBA loan and I want to open a kickboxing gym I think it would benefit the community and feel as if it could profitable. As I said I would not be the coach. Considering this, what are your thoughts. I used to wrestle in highschool and I do have a passion for health and self - improvement. Do you think this business plan is feasible?

    • @mattyicee27
      @mattyicee27 Год назад

      Consider that i would have around 8,000 college students within walking distance with no competition within a 20 minute radius as far as I know. What do you think ?

      I assume the coach’s I hire as well as marketing plan would be the most important variables. Moreover finding the right location. Be straight up with me what do you think of this.

    Hello 👋🏽 what is one of the financial challenges you’ve experienced when you first open your gym 🤔 thank you 🙏🏽

    • @imperiumboxing4385
      @imperiumboxing4385  Год назад +2

      Definitely taking on the loss upfront. You have to come up with a sizable investment and unless your gym is crazy busy with numerous members and clients, you will not recoup your initial investment. It will likely take years to break even. So make sure you plan that accordingly and can stay in business.
      The chances of making money off of a boxing gym are not good.

    Great video. I was surpriced of how I ve never considered the (training/ values/ comitment) part of it, for the athleits. You seemed to put a lot of enfasis on that subject and it gave me a new perspective; thank you for that. I notice you did not speak about how much to charge, and a price menu for diferent options of memberships. Could you make a video on the numbers? By the way I saw your gym, and that is sore of what I have in mind and I have $15,000 to invest. Thank you
