There's a part of me that is kind of, expecting an in-between series before Part 7. Like an Eyes of Heaven Adaption. I wanna see SBR animated as much as the next guy but with how, I guess confusing? it might be to anime only fans when we go from a Reset Universe 2011 to an Alternate Universe 1890, even with the amazing Roundabout ED for Part 6 showing that "Everything still happened, only Part 6 was really affected by Pucci's final reset". It should be at least noted that the greenlighting of a project or even the general production schedule SBR can possibly have is not something entirely dependent on DP. Warner Bros,. has more say in that.
Honestly I would imagine part 7 /SBR gets a weekly release. With them doing One Piece weekly I imagine they’ll adopt that for more popular/anticipated series.
Had a dream where it was coming out in January. That's obviously not happening, but I WILL lose my mind if it gets *announced* in a couple of months lmao
Imagine the pressure on the animators of part 7. There are already fan-made openings, themes, trailers and scene adaptations that are amazingly well done. The creators will have to at least match those fan made projects or they will just look bad.
It won't be their fault if they don't. Anime production pipelines tend to be... quite hellish. Animators have to meet strict and I mean strict deadlines.
The Netflix thing is really the big question for me. It would turn the deserved excitement of any SBR adaptation into reserved annoyance and Steel Ball Run deserves better than that
@@xForts I got the impression that it was just for Stone Ocean, especially given the time disparity between Parts and how every season is a new project rather than just the next season in an ongoing series. But we'll see.
I hope I have some way of accessing it by then. Netflix is the only streaming service I use (I don’t have my own income yet) but I understand the dislike towards Netflix’s handling of Stone Ocean so I won’t complain if SBR’s not on there
Just finished Stone Ocean (life happens) and I cried at the end like every other part. Bring on Steel Ball Run! I'm willing to wait so they can continue bringing a beautiful adaptation. ❤
Everyday I search up Steel Ball Run in youtube to see if they have an announcement trailer of it getting animated and this is the newest thing iv’e seen at least I see that there are SBR run content still uploading😂
I remember seeing an old petition to use the music of the fan opening a few years ago, I'm sure the composers would happily go with it. And hey, it's less work for the producers if they did do it.
I hate to say this but I fear it'll take a bit longer this time around. 2025 would be a miracle but 2026 could be more realistic, I hope were getting part 7 though, it could honestly revive the series as a whole and get new viewers in.
Also the main most important thing in jojo part 7 is the teamwork between Jonny and Gyro, there's tons of fights where they have to work together to take down the enemy. so its very important to animate that instead of just focusing on one of them like they did with Jotaro.
@@SwiftJustice Nah, just record some horses and trace over them. Then you can reuse traced run/walk cycle. Also, if rotoscoping would be more expensive than animation by hand, it wouldn't ever be a thing, lmao.
I just hope that if SBR anime does happen, Netflix doesn't get the rights. Its because of how they handled Stone Ocean's release with their binge model stopped any momentum the anime had.
I was telling my friends recently if David Productions decided not to do it or decided to stop working on Jojo because of it no doubt in my mind some other company would try to take it up at some point. It's such a good money bringer because of the fandom size and anticipation of the season I know at some point someone would be willing to at least-- now it being good is a different question. It really is just a waiting game, money wise it would cost a lot but being the most hyped up part it's no doubt that it would also bring in a lot too.
@@lazyvoid7107 where did I say it wasn’t? In fact I implied it was by saying it’s going to make lots of money when it makes made because of how many people are hyped for it-

I'm predicting a September announcement because a) DP will be done with their 2 current big projects by then, b) it'll fit with the current JoJo release cycle, c) from what I've heard, the story of Part 7 starts on a September, and d) 2024 is the 20th anniversary of Part 7. So late 2024 announcement with late 2025 release, generating hype along the way. Great video!
Btw we are DEFINITELY getting an adaptation. JoJo is DP's cash cow and their baby; it's something they're passionate about and will make them a ton of money.
One more thing to think about is jojo’s animation is known to go crazy. We have shots that are seen as hard to do in a 2d way like orbit shots. All done in 2d. They use 3D very little and still mix it with 2d to make sure it feels right. That is why the 3D in stone ocean’s first batch felt off. It didn’t have the 2d mix that was needed
I am Honeslty excited for the steel ball run anime and manga English release even though I don’t remember liking as much as it was hyped up. Maybe they will help me get a new view on it considering I read it back in about 2017 or so
I think a announcement this year just saying it's in development with a trailer and release date announced next year. The announcement this year is to simply say it's in development so jojo fans know the series hasn't been forgotten/ is continuing. The trailer and release date next year is so they have a good amount of time to do it justice and work out with Netflix a good release schedule that works for both of them. As Netflix is the biggest streaming platform and is the best option to go with. Hopefully Netflix has learned from stone ocean that the batch release schedule didn't work and does a better way this time.
Everyone is worried about the horses, but nobody mentions the raptors.
Raptors are much easier to adapt as they walk on just two legs and don't appear nearly as much as the horses.

I excited about jojo part 7 more than gta 6 💀
Thanks for giving me hope😁
SBR WILL be animated. It’s too crucial to Jojo to not be animated. Not sure it will be soon but it will happen. Great vid
Had a dream where it was coming out in January. That's obviously not happening, but I WILL lose my mind if it gets *announced* in a couple of months lmao
It's gonna cost a lot bu considering how popular the manga is it for sure is going to be worth it.

If there is a studio that can handle all that hard work is Mappa ( but let the workers go home this time )
yeah not happening. what Mappa needs is less work. not more.
It would turn the deserved excitement of any SBR adaptation into reserved annoyance and Steel Ball Run deserves better than that
I hope whatever deal they have expires by the time SBR comes out lol
@@xForts I got the impression that it was just for Stone Ocean, especially given the time disparity between Parts and how every season is a new project rather than just the next season in an ongoing series. But we'll see.
I hope I have some way of accessing it by then. Netflix is the only streaming service I use (I don’t have my own income yet) but I understand the dislike towards Netflix’s handling of Stone Ocean so I won’t complain if SBR’s not on there
I want Jojo back on Toonami again
Netflix recently removed all parts of jojo so I highly doubt Netflix will have anything to do with the future of jojo
Girls dream : my crash kissed me
Boys dream : Steel ball run gets animated and released
I had a dream that the teaser for the SBR anime came out, and it sort of looked like Stone Ocean and Diamond is Unbreakable mixed together
Just finished Stone Ocean (life happens) and I cried at the end like every other part. Bring on Steel Ball Run! I'm willing to wait so they can continue bringing a beautiful adaptation. ❤
I feel like it will be 4 movies or specials, each for Tusk's Acts.
Everyday I search up Steel Ball Run in youtube to see if they have an announcement trailer of it getting animated and this is the newest thing iv’e seen at least I see that there are SBR run content still uploading😂
8:44 holy shit guys, brazil reference
I pray they use the fan OP when it eventually comes out
I remember seeing an old petition to use the music of the fan opening a few years ago, I'm sure the composers would happily go with it. And hey, it's less work for the producers if they did do it.
I hate to say this but I fear it'll take a bit longer this time around. 2025 would be a miracle but 2026 could be more realistic, I hope were getting part 7 though, it could honestly revive the series as a whole and get new viewers in.
They could switch the studio to make the animation easier and look good or cut the part in multiple arcs like in part 3, with a year or two wait
What makes you think David Production couldn't do it?
@@xForts idk just saying
David productions brought jojos to life, regardless it’s still gonna be hard to animate
@@xFortsDavid production x bones x madhouse
@@xForts studio split up most of the animators to different groups to work on different projects
Love BLEACH being mentioned
Also the main most important thing in jojo part 7 is the teamwork between Jonny and Gyro, there's tons of fights where they have to work together to take down the enemy. so its very important to animate that instead of just focusing on one of them like they did with Jotaro.
Guys guys! It says 2012- on IMDB, so no worries. We just need to wait a few decades and that's it
Jodio for ASBR
7:41 Plus, they always can record some horses and rotoscope them.
This would be EVEN MORE expensive wtf
@@SwiftJustice Nah, just record some horses and trace over them. Then you can reuse traced run/walk cycle. Also, if rotoscoping would be more expensive than animation by hand, it wouldn't ever be a thing, lmao.
I always forget Stone Ocean even came out.
even if it takes years im waiting patiantly, haveing part 7 animated is a dream
Ofc it will
3:34 I misheard this as "let's take a look at what stands in steel ball run weigh"
I just hope that if SBR anime does happen, Netflix doesn't get the rights. Its because of how they handled Stone Ocean's release with their binge model stopped any momentum the anime had.
I wake up every day hoping for an official Steel Ball Run teaser/trailer.
Late 2024 is hopefull, mid-late 2025 is reasonable. 2026+ is unreasonable. (announcment not release).
Yea :(
I was telling my friends recently if David Productions decided not to do it or decided to stop working on Jojo because of it no doubt in my mind some other company would try to take it up at some point. It's such a good money bringer because of the fandom size and anticipation of the season I know at some point someone would be willing to at least-- now it being good is a different question. It really is just a waiting game, money wise it would cost a lot but being the most hyped up part it's no doubt that it would also bring in a lot too.
SBR is extremely popular
@@lazyvoid7107 where did I say it wasn’t? In fact I implied it was by saying it’s going to make lots of money when it makes made because of how many people are hyped for it-
Horses. They are to animators what hands are to AI
I actually think batching the season would work best for the long monthly SBR as long as theyre well defined arcs
Just dont let netflix handle it.

@@req1629 when? source???
@@Jacksontrooper777 no mb bro, an announcement for the anime was happening later this year
As long as they do weekly releases they can take how ever long as they want. We need weekly hype for SBR
Netflix is releasing One Piece Egghead arc every week so hopefully they could do that for SBR
6 months ago is crazy
talking about horses reminds me of berserk 1997. they had scenes with horses, and its an old anime, and it means that it might not be that hard.

Hopefully Netflix has learned from stone ocean that the batch release schedule didn't work and does a better way this time.
me and my bros are gonna have a feast when it gets announced
