Best video I have seen showing the steps on a gmc diesel that is lifted. I couldn’t clearly understand one part so I’d your tires are turned and the steps come down they will rub with the wheel setup you have ? I’m running 24x12-44 on 37-13.50-24 on a 17 denali 3500hd
What size is the new lift?
Maybe it's a Vegas thing, but since when do you drive down the road with your door open? That's the only way that the steps will be lowered to cause any clearance issues.
Frank Walker if he parks and forgets to turn his wheels straight everytime and then opens the door they will hit.
How far down do the steps open? I was thinking about going with the XL steps I have seen someone keep the def tank in and only Move it bout 1in. 2017 2500 on 7in lift, 24x14 -76 offset.

Truck looks killer! How’s the ride? with the coilover conversion? I’m interested in the 2-3 coilover if 295/55 on 20x10 won’t require trimming. Giving consideration to the 6.5 as well with 35’s. I’ve got a stock 17’ L5P SRW

I would go 22.5 classic's on a much less aggressive tire. Not to bash as everyone has their own taste but those rims and tires do not look good. Looking of the dual's and how meaty thhe tirres are, it would be a constant worry of when the first time you walk around and find a rock chip in the paint for a rock that was thrown from the tires.

Delete the truck and tank and you can run the amp steps for the 1500 series and can fire 37's not problem. Or relocate tank at least.
