Same here just yesteday. The danged chain kept coming off and is now kinked + the bar groove now seems too tight for the chain guide teeth to fit in the groove. wtf?!
@@bankayhoodlum so I learned if it’s your first time using it, after every cut, the chain is heating up and stretching out. Keep tightening it to the appropriate level until the chain is broke in. I fixed my chain with a little rotary tool. If you can’t do that just be ready for it on the next chain. But yeah what was happening is as the chain was getting broke in, it would get too loose and come off
Great saw, terrible manufacturer’s manual.
Thanks for the clear instructions!
Yeah, the manual is kinda rough! Glad you liked the video though.
Really helpful in a way in which the poorly written Makita manual was not. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Thank you very easy to understand and straightforward. Thank you very much.
Thanks for watching!
Used mine for 5 minutes today for the first time. Chain came off, seems damaged, and a lot of oil on it. Might have to pick up a new chain

Thank you for your time. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you.
Thanks. I thought I can rinse with water gun, probably it is incorrect and I need a brush
Don't use water anywhere near a chainsaw, only oil.
