To summarize BT1 - Cutscenes (great story cutscenes) BT2 - Story(great story representations, world map exploration) BT3 - Gameplay(simplified story but cover all ogdb, db movies dbz, dbgt, more characters, best combat)
Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games except of Dragon Ball Z Evolution are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.
Idk what kept me coming back to this game almost daily until Tenkaichi 2 came out, but that's the way it was. My 12 year old self was mesmerized by it for whatever reason.
Thank youu, I will try to make videos at least once a month on the games that interest me or are just a fun challenge, but I am 100% sure I will make a video on sparking zero!

I'm currently playing it again after having played it as a teen. Once I'm locked in fighting, I forget my second thoughts. As Sparking Zero is off the table for me now, I might play through BT1-3 and do some netplay competition. I remember wishing for Kid Goku as a teen, and now, in the Namek arc, I already have 5 Dragonballs again. You leave out some fun if you don't go after the balls after you've spotted one on the ground.
Sagas was my first db game and it’s legendary to me. That ssj fight against full power frieza was so hard for me back then but once I beat it I was in shock😂
The PS2 Sparking series games all use the original anime soundtrack. The american budokai tenkaichi versions replace the soundtrack, in BT1 bandai reuses budokai 3's soundtrack, by kenji yamamoto, DB Kai and DB videogame composer for years, later found to be a plagiarist, then bandai creates original soundtrack for the american versions of Neo and Meteor, BT2 and 3. It's a shame because many people outside america only played the american versions without the anime soundtrack, which was a main factor of immersion for these games. That's why many people played the japanese version in latin america or later modded versions with japanese dub and music but english or spanish subtitles.
I played Tennkaichi 1 so much as a kid. I remember the first time I accidentally found a Dragon Ball in a stage and was dumbfounded. Sure, it's clunky to have Dragon Balls in stages but it's also very magical and fun I feel, and it gives people who already mastered the game something unique and interesting to do.
BT1 doesn't have the best gameplay combat and all but his opening and cutscenes are good, and has a good soundtrack. For a first game, it was very good for it's purpose
Yeahh, when I come back to play older dbz games I pick bt3 over the other 2 for the combat mostly but still we can't forget the one that started it all!
I do have more ideas for videos, I might do BT2 or BT3 video, but I won't focus only on Dragon ball content, I will makes videos on games and franchises I really like
Normal attacks can do a lot but you need to attach Z items to make your punches stronger. Playing through ranking mode currently as kid buu and i almost only win by stun locking enemies with punches and its pretty effective
Bro, I remember having a friend who had this game with the box... except... someone tricked him and changed this game with a Budokai 1, what a motherfucker who did that...
This is the very first video game I have played in our first PS2 back when I was 6 YO and it’s so hard to play because it’s Japanese version and I can’t unlock other characters because I can’t read what’s the mission 😂
Couldn't believe when you said that this is your first video you've uploaded on here because you seem like a veteran, very well done, nice editing, script is on point, everything is on point. I also really liked the cuts where you were playing and getting angry, we all know that feeling 😂 Immediately liked the video and you've earned another sub. Keep up the good work! Would love to see a series of this for the other titles too and for SZ :).

Budokai Tenkaichi was my only BT game besides Budokai 1 and Sparking Zero. I remember it SUCKED on PS2 with loading...but once my dad got me and my brother got us a PS3...it was literally the smoothest game. Love this game the sound track, gates etc. Chef's kiss.
It doesn't. Budokai Tenkaichi (the american version) has budokai 3 music. All Sparking ps2 games use the anime soundtrack. All tenkaichi games replace the soundtrack because in US the anime had a different soundtrack. BT2 and 3 have a original low budget soundtrack though.
