There is no reason why they would take it down. Sparking Zero is selling great and it's not like people gonna stop buying it and play unofficial mod for the 17 years old game.
10:18 A few changes that I think are worth mentioning: 1) Transformations are done with Ki, rather than with your Blast 1 Stock. This means that you can basically transform at will, and as much as you want. 2) Conversely, if you are in a transformed state, and your stamina is broken, your character will automatically detransform to their base form, putting you at a disadvantage. 3) There are way more combo strings added to the game. This might be a bit subtler to notice, but even basic square mashing combos have new extensions and follow-ups. 4) If two fighters are in Max Power mode, and they do a rush clash, instead of the usual mashing minigame, you will instead trigger the teleportation rhythm minigame that in Tenkaichi 3 proper only happened in the story mode Oh, and Frieza's voice actor was changed for consistency with Super.
4) Ngl, SZ should have brought this back into core gameplay like how BT4M did it. I never understood why in BT3 it was only in few specific battles of Dragon History.

We greatly appreciate that you did this, thank you, your retrospective videos are all very well done and this is no exception! Besides the extended combo chains there are some other gameplay changes you might want to try later, like being able to do the Aerial Clash (the one you were only able to do in Story Mode originally) by clashing while both characters are on Max Power Mode, or by doing a series of consecutive Vanishing Counters. Speaking of vanishing counters, in BT4 the fighter with less Ki no longer gets the advantage, it now resets to neutral. You can also manually do taunts with L1 + O (circle) while idle, this has some effects both on you and on your opponent, but the effect diminishes the longer you use it. There are other several changes through out the game, but you did an amazing work with all the major ones! I'll take some notes about everything you've mentioned, we all want the best experience playing a classic Tenkaichi game after all!

The spanish speaking community kinda used that version as the groundworks for any modding movin forward
9:10 You are correct. The timing for executing Z-Counters was made slightly easier in Tenkaichi 4. Not as easy as in Sparking Zero, but way better than the literal frame-perfect input that it was in Tenkaichi 3.
Im so glad it is easier in sparking. Maybe im getting old, but i found it so unfair the enemy could counter everything you threw at them while i could barely counter them back. I finally can defend myself in sparking zero
I could immediately tell than SZ made it easier, but I play a lot of fighting games, and this is pretty common in sequels. (Sf4 to sf5 to sf6, or Tekken tag2 to T7, to T8, for example) I'm over it already. If it allows more people to enjoy the game at various levels, then I guess it was worth it in the end.

You can see if the character has a Special Cosmetic in Character Reference by pressing L1 when selecting an outfit.
Tenkaichi 4 also has a TON of custom what if interaction dialogues. Sparking Zero lacks a LOT there. For example, if you put SSJ2 Goku against Perfect Cell, Cell will say “You’ve changed!” and Goku will be angry and go “You won’t get away!” Which is a throwback to a fanmade what if where Gohan died and Goku turned SSJ2 and fought Cell!

If only modders unleashed the potential of Battle of Z. It was super ahead of it's time and took Dragon Ball games in a direction that no other game have dared to go.
The only thing I don't like about this mod is that it's really hard sometimes, it feels like the CPU will MURDER YOU if you don't play perfectly even on the easiest difficulty and i just do not have the skill for it

whats that music playing at around 13:37?
Man... ive been playing Spakling Zero, but I still want to go check this out! I played BT3 on emulator for years, I didnt even know BT4 was a thing!!!
What’s embarrassing is that tenkaichi plays better than sparking and has dragon ball characters in it
Sparking is just prettier
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I think the HUD and UI look amateurish but other than that it looks quite fun
The menus genuinely look awesome though
Glad I'm not alone to find Jiren extremely boring.
One of the most forgettable characters indeed
9:57 Well it’s not an online game so I like that stronger characters are stronger than weaker characters and it takes crazy amounts of skill to win with weak characters
there is an online mode in the wii version
hi
Hi, Kazi :D
All this mods make sparkling zero look bad at full price
If only modders unleashed the potential of Battle of Z. It was super ahead of it's time and took Dragon Ball games in a direction that no other game have dared to go.
The mod is still better tbh ....

Has anyone played this game/ mod on ps3?
Shout out New Zealand 🔥🔥🔥
The only thing I don't like about this mod is that it's really hard sometimes, it feels like the CPU will MURDER YOU if you don't play perfectly even on the easiest difficulty and i just do not have the skill for it
12:22 wait! Bardock being a scientist came from this dub only??? I thought he just was a scientist!
Sup yo lol did u get sparking zero yet
How do u get these mods
Google team bt4 and you’ll find it. You can download the full game in their official website
I dont even know what dragon ball is anymore.
I bet you'd love Jiren's mysterious nature and his no-nonsense attitude if he was really pleasing to your eyes. I've seen it over and over. Females are actually the most superficial gender. I myself found him admirable in most occasions before his lame backstory got revealed. It's impressive to me if a guy is a cold, never truly impressed quiet badass. Jiren's just not perfect in that regard. I don't like his arrogance. I'd still be humble if I could be like him.
Calling a hack a sequel is kinda wrong
Calling a really good modded sequel a hack makes you a hack💀
@@ihavenonamestilldonthaveon8970 aha, makes sense..
Lol this isnt even an official game. Fan modded game. Invalid retro
It does enough changes to the point it feels like a new game but I kinda see your point since it’s a mod
It is an offcial game..an offical fan modded game :D
That doesn't make it any less a video game lol.
Thank you Baka Critics
