The Kung Lao that he’s referring to isn’t his brother, but rather the “Great Kung Lao,” who competed against Goro and died in the very first of the ten tournaments. So, even though that lineage is never explored in the film, it is explicitly stated in the opening text for the original arcade MK.
@@dustinray1694 Technically, I wouldn’t say he died (unless you played the Kung Lao Ending against Kronika in MK11) So I would say he died, and he didnt

I could see that happening today & that kind of stuff would've pissed me right off as a fan, but it didn't. It did what it did with what it could & I think it's an overall fun & charming blast from the 90's.
Great count Dead Meat. I'll see you on the next adventure.
Creater: *makes large video*
Video: *has like 5 seconds of song*
Song makers: Well if I can't the money then no one can have it-
*youtube gets it.
Can't the money
I still love how James refers to the protagonists as "Art and the gang" so often
Are you saying that you don’t?
“I am Liu Kang, Descendant of Kung Lao!”
*Wait, that’s illegal.*
The Kung Lao that he’s referring to isn’t his brother, but rather the “Great Kung Lao,” who competed against Goro and died in the very first of the ten tournaments. So, even though that lineage is never explored in the film, it is explicitly stated in the opening text for the original arcade MK.
@@dustinray1694 right, I forgot about the great Kung Lao
@@dustixo also I just realized you and I share names :o 💕
@@dustinray1694 Technically, I wouldn’t say he died (unless you played the Kung Lao Ending against Kronika in MK11) So I would say he died, and he didnt
@@dustixo Canonically I’m sure he’ll always be the one to perish in the battle against goro, only because the modern Kung Lao wouldn’t have his motivation to be in the tournament otherwise. Though I’m always open to those “what if” storylines :)
15:40 - Trevor Goddard did NOT take his own life. It was an accidental overdose of painkillers, which he needed because he padded his acting income as an amateur kickboxer.
True but the heroine and cocaine probably didn’t help save him much either.
James:Makes a Mortal Kombat kill Kount to hype up the new movie
RUclips:No
James:Reuploads with a saxophone
If you look at the title and the thumbnail for the video, it's not a kill Count. :)
@@theaway9052 huh?
@@fabuloussecretstandopawaaa9340 he's right
@@theaway9052 You got me there thanks for letting me correct it
Can we just change all music on the channel to James playing his saxophone, that was fucking awesome
0:17 I want a whole video of James playing mortal kombat on the saxophone
Deadmeat clips
I think there’s a video of it on his Instagram too
Like Jax's Friendship.
The design of Goro has always cracked me up! Without a second set of lower pectoral muscles those lower arms would be weak as hell😂
I'd like to see you take him in mortal Kombat and test out that theory.
I hate but love how scorpion says “get down here”😂😭
Ik it sounds so awkward but it’s hilarious 😂
Im trying to find a clean audio clip for s ring tone haha
Reminds me of bonesaw Mcgraw.
What's worse in in Annihilation the way he says "SUCKERRR!!!"
0:34
James: “So, hope you’re ready for more of this”
*plays 2 notes with a death look in 1 second
Me: G-R-E-A-T-!
I love just how you can see all the anger and bitterness in his eyes
Lmao the edit sounds like a goofy dm notification sound 😂
Actually my favourite part of the video.
The anger and annoyance in that second is great
"So, hope your ready for more of this."
*A singular, resounding doot*
Yeah, RUclips decided to copyright strike the sax
@@ark9542 That’s fucken dumb
@@Major_Ursa Are you calling me dumb or RUclips?
@@ark9542 RUclips obviously
It's kind of crazy that the actors who played Raiden, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and Shang Tsung reprised their roles in the Mortal Kombat 11 game.
The shots of zoom ins on James playing on the saxophone with the look on his face saying "I'm annoyed" made me crack up so hard!!!
Pausing at 0:00 gives a face from James I haven't seen since "I'll always know what you did last summer"
At 13:23, he could edited and talk about why RUclips is stupid while he was performing😄
Personally, Christopher Lambert as Raiden was one of my favorite things about this movie.
Watching this multiple times because the Dead Meat team deserve the ad revenue
I love that the fact James does techno syndrome with a saxophone is ironically a reference to jax's friendship from mk 11, which is a reference to epic sax guy.
Layers, my dude, layers.
Honestly James playing the song on the saxophone is the best thing ever
@Miguel Messina cause he's a GOAT
@Miguel Messina Yes
22:39 One of my favorite Johnny Cage lines.
James reuploads, I watch, like and comment again
James' own sax version of the MK theme: Yeah that's hot
