Just ordered a OneFinity. at some point in the next 8 to 10 weeks it should get the machine in a box or 5. Glad to find a channel where you are running the similar machine to what I will have. i look forward to viewing your content.
as far as the screws go for the onefinity, I ran into the same issue, the screws were too skinny, however, i stole two of the screws from the part that attaches to the spindle, there are 4 of them and they all aren't that necessary. I still have yet to turn it on, I'm scared lol. They for sure 10000000% don't give you enough information on how to use the laser, lazy bastards. lol Like wtf... They don't go into feeds and speeds or anything brother, that's why I'm back watching you loll you do a great job man.
@@405woodcrafting6 well I finally did it brother lol. I sent it and I feel so much better now, All I need to do now is get my feeds and speeds down and I'm good I things, well I need to really learn Lightburn.. you know what makes me mad, I bought my Onefinity 2 months before they switched to the Maso controller lol... thanks brother
Could you let me know where you ordered that Air Assist nozzle for the 7w? I found a website for Laserwizard but can't do anything to click on to order.. And some strange images of random machinery and such but not much of products other than one image.
great video man, really in depth! You would kill it if you did a tutorial on the complete guide bro, i can tell that your good at describing stuff. Im telling you man, you could get big on youtube if you did. if you dont can you point me in the right direction?
@@405woodcrafting6 thank you brother!! what I think would be beneficial for me and I'm sure a lot of other people would be a video of you hooking up the laser, using light burn to create something simple and then the process of sending that file to the Onefinity. I personally use a USB thumb drive to send code to my machine, it is too far away from my pc until I get Wi-Fi extenders. but that would be really helpful, especially if you do it the way you do, with great understandable instructions. Thanks so much for your consideration!! I did subscribe to your channel.
@ghostinthedarkness5409 I'll see what I can come up with. I also use the "sneaker-net" version of running my usb by foot between computer and onefinity to transfer files.
Not specifically with the Jtech hardware. I'm kinda thinking outside the box and you could write a toolpath in lightburn with ultralow power and run that to accomplish a typical framing function
For cutting always run at 100% and most of the time 10-15"/minute. I just adjust the number of passes. 1/4 mdf took 3 passes; this 1/4 ply took 2 passes
Thank you so much for your video. I just ordered my 24 watt Jtec laser
