" Elisabeth Anne Broderick is an American woman who murdered her ex-husband, Daniel T. Broderick III, and his second wife, Linda Broderick, on November 5, 1989. At a second trial that began on December 11, 1991, she was convicted of two counts of second-degree murder and later sentenced to 32-years-to-life in prison. The case received extensive media attention. Several books were written on the Broderick case, and a TV movie was televised in two parts. In 2020, an 8-episode miniseries was produced and aired about Broderick. An article about Broderick's case in the Los Angeles Times Magazine led to the production of a television film called (Part 1) A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story, and (Part 2) Her Final Fury: Betty Broderick, The Last Chapter (1992), where Meredith Baxter portrayed Betty, Stephen Collins portrayed Dan, and Michelle Johnson portrayed Linda Kolkena. Baxter received an Emmy Award nomination for her portrayal of Broderick. The murder was also dramatized in the season 4 episode of Deadly Women, titled "Till Death Do Us Part." I've always said she snapped. She stood by him while he finished not just med school but also law school. She raised his kids took care of his home and life. He dumps her for younger woman, flaunts it in her face. Then he takes her kids and cuts off her funds. Murder is wrong but who wouldn't snap?
I agree, my ex did pretty much the same thing but he was always a lazy bum. He just had a new baby and after not seeing our 15yr old son for almost a year, he picked him up a couple weeks ago to go see his new baby brother. My son had me pick him back up bc he was having anxiety attacks and needed to come home asap. I’ve been worrying myself sick bc he’s really holding so much anger, sadness, and just disappointment bc his dad just basically forgets all about him and yet he knows he’s doting over his new baby with his new young girlfriend. Breaks my heart 💔
@@krystaldaniels7940 I'm so sorry your son has to go through that. Someday his dad will want to be a part of his life but it will be too late.
Couldn’t agree more!
I used to side with her a lot, but the more I know about the case, the more it seems all three formed a very toxic triangle, with mean, always angry, jealous and possessive Betty being on top of it, but extremely self-centered Dan and arrogant, golddigging Linda not far behind in toxicity.
Thanks for saving me the time to write this. This is why woman say they aren't starting from scratch with no man and strive for their own independence. Today's young (men & women) ppl thing that women want independence because of the love of money and material things. Tbis sums up why women need to create a path for themselves. This is one of many stories from that time period.
I think he pushed her. She sacrificed her youth and freedom to help him achieve his goals. She allowed herself to become financially vulnerable and he rewarded her trust by throwing her out on the street. Can you imagine that after the church told you your whole life your obedience would be rewarded? And for him to call her old knowing that she can't control her age?! He is an abuser even if he didn't hit her.
Absolutely
That’s exactly why feminism happened and why most feminists are against housewives. You just can’t trust men. Always make sure you never sacrifice for and “build” a man like Betty did and that you have a plan b in case you decide not to work!
Yes 🙌
I agree .Obviously, she shouldn't have murdered anyone, but Dan was a pr$ck. They drove her nuts and clutched pearls when does reacted.
It’s an old story, but most mothers put their kids first.
My mother always told my sisters & and me, "Never put a man through college." She knew once success came, we would be put to pasture.
Your mom is very smart ❤
Not always, in healthy Nd happy marriages you support each other and build each other up
My manger told me the same thing. She said she paid for her girlfriend’s college and she ended up breaking up with her after she graduated. Now my manger is in debt because she wanted to help her girlfriend.
its the same with men never put a woman through college.
My mom mom told me not to marry. Keep my freedom and youth/life to myself.
I always looked at this story as a life lesson to never mess with a married man. And on the flip side, always have your own income and not to ever completely depend on a man.
This is one think I tell my kids.. never depend on a single person for anything! That’s the people who will screw toy over because they can.
You shouldn’t do that anyway bc it’s called empathy and would you like someone to do that to you when you finally find “the one
you needed a lesson to learn that...?
My life lesson from this... Only people that deserve my whole heart are my mama and my children. I was raised to NEVER be dependent on anyone except myself ❤
My mother always always taught me that.
She build him up supported him to the top and then she got pissed and shit on…. Yeah that will set someone off.
That's what I'm saying!!
Yup!! Hell, hath no fury like a woman scorned!!!! It's really sad that she supported him on the way up, and he basically s#!t on her!!!!
While I agree, I do still question how much was him egging her on and how much was her just being a complete nut job?
I wouldn't even say she was "just crazy", that sort of thing was kind of just a product of her upbringing. But she set his stuff on fire multiple times. Once he got remarried, I know it's hard to start from scratch but, let it go.
I don't mean it to sound so harsh, because he was complete scum. But she was given $9000 a month and she could have been using that to go back to school and further her own career. Many women do that without getting any money at all. I think she was a bit obsessive about him and his new wide and that obsession is what drove her crazy. Some times women just don't want to "let it go"
They have to somehow prove they can WIN. But what do you win if you do "reclaim your man"? Just a man that already cheated on you and would probably do it again.
Let the other woman have that mess. She was supposedly a really good mom, she should have just stuck with her kids. She lost her kids because she left them on HIS doorstep. People getting a lot less than $9000 a month find a way to get childcare so they can work. Her own kids turned against her because she was really crazy.
This whole thing was pretty toxic.
I think she had better options and was just stuck on somehow "winning" and she absolutely ended up losing
This doesn’t excuse the murder of two people. They may have treated her terribly but that doesn’t condone her actions. She could have moved on and made her own success story, instead she lost her children, and became obsessed with harassing and getting revenge on her ex-husband and his new wife. She’s a pathetic person who deserves to rot in jail.
Too bad people can push you to the point of doing something drastic and then when you do it, you get sent to jail.
Her husband was an ass, he drove her crazy, my opinion.
I wanna know what case he won for his first case.
I also heard she put him through his schooling put herself on hold of finishing school. for him to turn around and leave her for someone younger. I defiantly agree he seemed like an ass too. I defiantly agree with that juror what took her so long! :( My mom was into this case, so I was watching it with her, and documentary's etc. Always felt bad for her. Defiantly feel he made her snap.
No excuse
I definitely agree dan and Linda drove betty crazy 😢
@jennjen40 Yup! She catered to him and put herself, her wants, and her needs on the back burner for Dan and the kids. She sacrificed so much for him. He returned the favor by cheating on her, and leaving her for a younger woman. I totally get it.
I ain’t mad at her….she kept her cool a lot longer than I could have!
lol she would of been cast as a housewife into day & age
God forbid a man wants a divorce
yeah today's entitled bitches make Betty look like the picture of grace.
@@timpike5834I am not condoning what she did but if you want a divorce and you are a decent person then you should respect your ex spouse. You should have some remorse for cheating too. Why do you have to abuse the person more? His behavior says a lot about him.
@@timpike5834yep then leave but if you want to cheat and laugh and make it funny baby. Mess with the bull enjoy them horns
Real men honor their vows. They don't cheat.
Yep! Thats right!
Betty was a foul-mouthed impossible to please pain-in-the-ass years before Linda Kolkena - i would've ran screaming into the arms of another too.
You know you've pissed someone from your past off when you have to wear a bullet proof vest to your own wedding
😂😢

He didn't but it was recommended to him.
facts! unreal
She definitely did. That's crazy. Dan seemed like a jerk however cheating, divorce isn't a "crime" but murder is. I feel for her for him cheating with Linda but that doesn't excuse her crazy behavior after they divorced.
To anyone watching this,….gaslighting is the worst thing you can do besides cheating and this man did both. He enjoyed toying with Betty it fed his ego. If you meet a gaslighter RUN!
I have one of those. Ex husband 1 child on the spectrum. It’s my fault he cheated and I’m always wrong.
You forget DV
Yea true story
They are the worst demons ever
Then people did not understand whybi left my husband he was gaslighting me while cheating
I went through an almost identical situation with my ex husband. Married for 28 years, I raised our three children on my own because he worked on an oil rig and was never home. My whole life was raising my kids. I had no social life and spent almost every day at home. I didn't know anything other than being a homemaker. After the divorce, I ended up penniless with two older children who had to live with me in a rental property because I couldn't afford to rent on my own. He could afford a lawyer and I couldn't so he stiffed me out of my share of his Superannuation (4O1K) which was substantial. He quickly got remarried and 14 yrs later and in ill health, I'm still living with my two youngest. He barely sees his kids. Unless you've been through something like this yourself, don't judge others. I think I can certainly relate to Betty's situation. And like the juror, I'm surprised it took her so long too. If ever there was a case for justifiable homicide, this was it.
Same thing happened to my mom. My parents were married 25 years, he never paid her alimony. It was a terrible time. Wish you the best ❤
I never understand a man who just lets his kids suffer like that. Regardless of how you feel about your partner you should want your children to be okay. My friends ex is such a solid man he let her keep the house, the car he pays for daycare even on the days that she has the kids because he knows she can’t afford it right now and wants her to get back on her feet because he knows if she’s suffering the kids would be too. I’m so sorry your ex is a pig.
@@CaseyAvalon Thank you kindly. It means a lot to me. I hope your mum's doing well now.
I don't know if you believe in God or a Higher Power, but I believe that the Universe sees everything. I wish you Peace and Blessings upon your life and children.
I'm sad, sorry and disgusted you had to go through that with someone who must have cared about you and your children at one stage. I will never understand a partner abandoning another and not having the compassion and grace to at least allow you what you are rightfully entitled to. I wish you all the best.
A GOOD Lawyer knows the Law but a GREAT Lawyer knows the JUDGE! 🤨
Her ex-husband and his new wife drove her INSANE.
Yea.
I think, they were hoping she will do herself in. Instead she did them in.
@miraheil5521 that was something she said that she went there to do herself in, but she got scared and did what she did. I don't think she wanted do take herself out and it was an excuse to make herself look better to the public.
He was so nasty , she must have felt powerless, done over after all she was raising those kids all by herself , he was greedy and selfish. He was unfair and giving her an allowance then taking money out of it , then saying she owed him money was psycho, he drove her insane.
If he had just been financially generous enough to soften the blow of leaving their marriage and had shared custody of their children, she may have been able to move on and this could have been a different story.
IF HE SAID HE WAS NEVER HAPPY...WHY DID HE WAIT SO LONG TO DIVORCE HER?
Exactly! Why cheat???
And why did he stalk her and do anything to marry her?
Because he was a Catholic. It used to be frowned upon heavily to get divorced. I’m not religious, so it makes no sense to me.
@@breannaneden8088 because he was very young! You know people change, right? For good and for bad.
@@pommiebearslmao but it’s not wrong to cheat???
Hell knows no fury than a woman scorned!!! And I agree with that one juror; “I only wonder what took her so long!” Dan & Linda’s mocking Betty sent them to their grave 😢 Betty Broderick snapped!…
cheating should have legal repercussions if you are married
This case has always fascinated me. No ex partner is worth wasting your life on. I know that everyone’s circumstances are different, but Betty would have been so much better off just leaving him. I do believe she was heavily gas lighted though.
She's obviously a phycopath, she murdered 2 people because she got divorced. There is no justification in this. The poor guy had to get a restraining order and wear bullet proof vests at their wedding. She's playing a victim to get away with murder. There is no excuse to murder someone she could have moved away she had choices and decided not to take those better choices.
Me too!
If they take your children that you love and devoted your life to, and he separates you from them (causing the children pain too) just bc he can and to f with you more than he already has….im sorry but this was totally understandable. Cheaters should not get the children, when they choose to abandon their family, they should never be given full custody.
He pulled the rug out from under her, knowing she would be devasted, knowing he could blame her and make her look like the problem, he tormented her. He probably thought she would be driven to suicide. He thought he could get away with it. @@itchysheets1222

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Very sad and controversial case.
I said exact same thing!!!!
Exactly. People have not learned this clearly as they act shocked when women snap after they've taken enough shit.
Yup
Mental Abuse IS Abuse but even Today most States Do NOT see Mental Abuse as Abuse, allowing abusers to continue to abuse their victims, Especially if the abusers are Wealthy and the abused not so much. I have dealt with this First hand
To quote a chorus of a song in “Chicago” “He had it coming, he only had himself to blame. If you’d have been there, you would have seen it, I know that you would have done the same” Free Betty!
Amen sister!!!
I completely agree with the juror. A man treating you that way, will make you do crazy things. I got lucky and got out of the relationship before it went that far but a lot of people don't. You just kind of snap.
I agree and I too was able to break away before it got that bad but ya I had a pretty snake of a husband I wasted my youth on too. It’s been over 12 years now divorced and after watching this story I am glad I was brave enough to get out of the being cheated on marriage before I ended up doing something like this. The anger and hatred is absolutely real!
I'm sorry for your experiences but am SUPER proud of you for getting out of it.
Betty was heart broken. Be mindful of how you treat others because I believe the new wife & the ex husband was taunting her. He had the money and power and used it to his advantage. I believe she snapped.
He was very controlling greedy cruel and narcissistic.
His new wife was a heartless homewrecker.
@@auntbarbara5696 yes , your right , absolutely, good perspective

Netflix has a show about this case! One of the best I’ve ever watched! That man truly drove her MAD!
Netflix? I don't see it on there
What’s. It called
Netflix was so far off with Betty's character re-writing her as nearly a saint while making Dan look comical as the stereotypical villain. if you've read up on the real case or watched the trial on Court TV you'd know what a load of shit the Netflix version is.
I haven’t watched this yet but as a 39 year old woman when I look back on the few things that have really bothered me like to my core and got me out of character has been being cheated on. Idk. Something about it makes you feel out of control of yourself. Betrayal trauma is real. Be very careful who you cross bc they may not be able to stay in character and keep being the person you’re not afraid of. EDIT: After hearing the whole story what he did to her, it sounds like this man wanted to be murdered ijs
You should watch it. It's a good movie highlighting how women should act in high society.
I agree with you. Emotional abuse, gaslighting will really make you loose your mind.
I agree it can send u crazy the betrayl

You should watch the movies. Gives a great insight
This is a story I had never heard. He drove her insane. I've been in her shoes . Knowing something is going on but constantly being told ur crazy... it will drive u crazy
He did driver her crazy
While I don't condone murder, I can see why she snapped. He took everything from her...including her sanity. She put her own life to the side to support him for med AND law school. He was a pos. Didn't deserve to die. Nobody deserves death . But she was temporarily insane.
@@MissKerriAnn temporarily? BBroderick was nuts YEARS before Linda Kolkena showed up - an entitled sociopath who spent the early years of her marriage addressing Dan as 'asshole' and 'faggot' in front of friends and co-workers. Betty had been trained by her cold-as-ice parents to marry a motivated catholic and rake in the bucks, love was not required. she definitely didn't love Dan or her kids like she claimed or she wouldn't have blown their father's brains out. she was more pissed about loosing her perks at Neiman Marcus
a person can only be pushed so far. i think he was the narcissist. i think she went off the deep end and i only wish she would have gotten help instead of the path she chose. it’s a very sad story. messing with someone’s family can lead to some of the worst things imaginable…
I know a woman getting thru about the same, and she wanted to visit her ex when his new wife moved in with him-just to un live herself on their doorstep. She also dreamed about putting dangerous snakes in his bed. But happily it was just dreams and desperate thoughts bc of a very broken heart. She was more conserned and loved her children more.
I could have done this to my 1st husband. I was mentally, physically, and psychologically abused. And, he cheated on me with his cousin's gf. He said he didn't, but his cousin came to me and said, " Well, they did it, so we should too." I pushed him away from me.
I get it, Betty. 😢😢
Congratulations on getting away from the jerk. I'm proud of you!
Violence is not ever the answer.
He was not giving her the love, time and attention that was deserving of her. She was wanting and needing that, and instead of him, giving it to her, he was giving it to the younger women and other people. The wife was neglected, and the husband seemed like a narcissistic jerk.
I would never condone murder but I do believe they pushed her over the edge
Wow imagine saying just because she isn't "battered" enough, it's not an abusive marriage.... 🤢

You cannot treat people this badly and then act like it’s surprising when they snap. At a certain point, people will stop caring about the law and their own life.
Free Betty! Enough is enough!
I knew about this story in the 80's plus the movie, you said Betty was a at home mother which was wrong, she was the sole provider while he was at school..
I’m so glad you’re covering this story. I remember when it happened, and I always found it so sadly fascinating. If you can research more of her side of the story, she says she helped him through school and took care of everything at home. Then, she felt like he ditched her when he became rich and no longer needed her. If true, I understand her pain And anger, but there is never a reason for murder. I believe she had mental issues, and he pushed her over the edge. It's so sad for the poor kids. She should have just walked away.
💖💖💖
I agree with you. I don’t think she was mentally able to do that because she was so psychologically compromised at that point. But honestly shame on him and Linda for taunting her knowing that. They were playing with fire and didn’t have everyone’s best interest in mind. As a doctor he would’ve known that she was mentally ill so how he handled the entire situation before she snapped is very sus. He should’ve gotten her help/ sought mandated mental health care instead he chose to strong arm her and push her buttons. Not smart not okay.
Agreed
I feel like this woman was driven insane by those two and I hate to say it, but you reap what you sow! I feel for the kids, but they were used by the dad to drive her crazy. You should never mess with a momma and her babies. I hope she gets out some day.
I can't even imagine how crazy I could become in her situation. I hope not this crazy but...... 🤷♀️
This story never gets old and I love the way you told it ❤ Yes, she became crazy but he was definitely behind the wheel of the vehicle that got her there. As always, it's the children that pay the longterm price.
I remember watching "The Betty Broderick Story" with Meredith Baxter on Lifetime back in the day. It was a very sad story all around.
I don't think it was an accident. She knew what she was planning on doing. I feel so bad for the kids as well as the victims and their families.
Yes, she said that but then go around telling different events that happened.
Hell yeah . U know about this . Amazing movie
Meredith Baxter got an Emmy nomination for that movie.
@reneedennis2011 I did not know. I know in the second part, she had a real struggle with the part. I've seen or read about an interview when she talks about it
I was obsessed with this story when it happened and I am loving the way you tell it.
I remember following this story from lifetime and the news papers with my mom, even as a kid I clutched my pearls
As a member of the first wives club, who helped build 2 successful businesses simultaneously in the 25 yrs we were married, I can tell you there’s a much better way than violence.
No more compromises to avoid his emotional abuse.
I went on what I called ‘the divorce diet,’ got my hair cut short, moved to a new city, got a job where I excelled, briefly sowed a few wild oats, and got the tattoo I’d always wanted! Man, my ex acted the same way as this man. It definitely takes a toll on your mental health. The best thing I ever did was leave him and after 5 years of battling it out in court we finally got divorced. I would never kill him, not only because it's wrong but also because I try to think about him as little as possible but I can see how she could let that rage build up so much to where she thought that was her only break away from him. I think that if she didn't rely on him so much for his money, she could have been able to let go of that hurt. It sucks especially to her kids who lost both parents.
Meredith Baxter was nominated for an Emmy for playing Betty in that CBS TV movie.
I think Betty was the first trial I ever watched on Court TV. Back when it was actually on TV. 📺 😆
I remember this case so well. In some respects I do feel sorry for her situation because I do believe her husband was a cheat and probably tormented her.
Yes, but he did really manipulated her.
This is very very sad and the classic story of so so many, you stay home and raise your kids and take care of the home, sometimes you don’t even get dressed in a day, especially if you have a new baby and it’s been a particularly stressful morning, you have no real mystery about yourself, or any real “business” besides him and your children, he’s out in the world amongst all these beautiful vibrant women full of mystery, and he’s smitten, and your old news. If you sat home and built him up and essentially contributed to his success in life and you are now in your mid 30’s to 40’s I can see how one would feel completely betrayed and hopeless, that’s especially sad, and I can’t say I can rationalize murder but I can say I understand..

So you’re saying your husband that you supported all off your youth got a career, is a rich guy now, has a new young wife and took your kids away and you’re OK with that?? You just moved on??? I call it bull💩 lady!!!!
Good for you Mandy nobody fckin cares :)
Here’s the thing he was a DOCTOR okay ? so he is the FIRST person who would’ve known she was mentally ill. Given that don’t you think how he handled the entire situation is very sus? If you know your ex you share children with is seriously mentally ill why would ever handle it this way? Taunt them? That’s disgusting and is playing with fire. As a doctor you would know that doing that will just make their mental illness worse/could cause her to develop more mental health issues. It’s very obvious she was not in reality when it got really bad. People do crazy things when reality is blurred. He more than had the power to have her committed to some form of mental health treatment and if he actually cared about himself his new relationship and his kids more than messing with her for revenge and an ego stroke he would have done that. But he didn’t. So that says a lot right there. There’s a huge level of contribution he had to this situation. Not condoning what she did but we as a society need to be responsible for how we handle mental illnesses because that’s also not fair. Not everyone is as in control of themselves as others.
I absolutely believed she was pushed to kill them. Years of being told that you are worthless by someone you love can break you. It doesn't give you a reason to kill and that's where she crossed the line. She could feel all the feelings she's wants to but putting it into action is when it becomes illegal.
The song runs through my head a lot these days.
Doesn't anybody stay together anymore?

I hoped that you would have information about this case that I hadn’t seen- and you didn’t disappoint! ❤
Yay so happy to see a new upload 😄 whooo! Thank you for all your hard work ❤!!
I am Pro Betty in this crisis each and every time these facts are told.
He, Dan, is/was the
architect, engineer, builder, and decorator of her mental, emotional, and psychological collapse.
His JUST DESSERT was SERVED!!!
Was Dan and Linda sorry??? No, so why should Betty. He heaped a boatload of cruelty upon his wife.
What kind of Catholic is/was he.
DO TELL!!!
He was a total narcissist as well
Always wait for your wonderful show Chtistina, you're the best!❤
The definition of “don’t take the stand in your own defense”.
She wanted the attention to be on her. She even contacted newspapers and magazines to give interviews. So sad she needed the help.
Betty had to tell her story!
@@christineraines4673 And she did despite her personality disorders. It was a murder case. Amber Heard with all of her pathology took the stand in a civil case. She had to. She proved herself.
He left her powerless and financially abused her too.
I just love your style of storytelling!
I love your channel Mrs. Randall, I wish you and your family continual blessings.
The show they made about this was fantastic!
It makes me feel so old seeing our version's of videos compared to our children's today!! 😂❤
I’m with that juror on this one- I’ve watched a couple of deep dives into this case and he was just brutally awful to her. He absolutely treated her in a way to deliberately cause her mental anguish. Murder is never ok- but this is one story where I find myself siding with her
Who won? Her kids lost both parents.
FREE BETTY!!!!
Thank you for my good sleep, I love your voice, I finely cross my panic attacks, I’m just turn your video, and go sleep ! Love you ❤
Thank you for all your hard work Christina ❤️ i appreciate you covering these cases even with your busy schedule!
christina, you sure have come a long way. and I continue to enjoy everything you put out. thank you
Yes!! I feel so happy to see how far she has come in life.
I love how she is smiling in the court😊
Idk how to feel about this one , but we appreciate you Christina 🙏🏾
Love you so so much Christina! I have watched literally every video you’ve put out ❤ you are the best
I feel for her, can you imagine giving the best years of your life to support a man, build him up, raise his kids, and then he dump you for a younger more beautiful woman as soon as he reaches the top? It would break you! All of her best years wasted. I understand burning his clothes, even the voicemail messages BUT murder is wrong plain and simple and I wish she’d managed to control herself and find happiness with someone who deserved her. I reckon she’s happy they’re gone and can’t enjoy life together and run it in her face anymore and I understand it even if I can’t condone it.
Bomb vid Thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You made me laugh Christina with the juror's comment...this case was wild....
Christina, you should watch the movies about this case. So well done.
Amanda and Christian did so good in the movie on Netflix
@zanishabrown3021 yes, no doubts about it but it was told in a different way. I like them both.
@@zanishabrown3021 the older lifetime movie with Meradith Baxter imo was better
I have heard this story. But none of the stories u hear have all the details you put into them.🔥🙌 cudos. Thank you. I enjoy your videos.
Thank you SO much Christina for dropping the ‘y’all are my babies’ thing! I used to FF it. Thank you - I love you xxx
Clicked so fast! Christina, can you do a video on Princess Kate?
I'm not one that gets into the stuff with the Royals, but I really hope Kate is ok.
@@aklemon06 Same! I normally want nothing to do with the royal family, but this is unsettling.
I think that the way he treated her, not giving her any respect and denying her pain, her sacrifice and her devotion is what pushed her over the edge. I believe that if he would have treated her either way respect in the divorce settlement, she would have been able to move on.
Totally agree. He had that coming. He was begging for it. I agree with that juror that said he didn’t know what took her so long. I think if children had not been involved it would have been easier, but to take children from a loving devoted mother after she has cared so dearly for them for so long, just bc he could?! She got on that karma train and drove it where it needed to go.

I've always been intrigued by this story. I'm not saying I agree...but I understand.

Saw your 1 year anniversary video last night and was so happy to have seen most of your travels. It makes me so happy to have taken part of your travels. You are both adorable and if you ever get back to Enid, OK stop by and say Hello.
Good to see you again Christina ,....you vanished from my feed for at least a year.
Betty worked 2-3 jobs putting Dan through Law school and was running a household with children. Once Dan arrived to the top, Betty became a socialite and stay-at-home wife and mother.
And she needed to play the part of a Happy Home maker.
@@iamnotgoldenhar8645 Yes! Her primary role was to make Dan look good.
@@your1supporter I have read about people who divorce over these things. However, she made sure the public and got many letters from women saying that they really admire what she did. It made me a bit scared. What if someone took a page from this case.
@@iamnotgoldenhar8645 I'm not saying I agree with what she did, but Betty was furious that she worked herself tired just to get Dan where he was. He had a seven figure salary and only (I use this loosely) gave Betty $16,000 a month. The amount of money he was bringing in, $16,000 was chump change to him.
Additionally, Dan was a narcissist and he knew how to push Betty's buttons, which I'm sure wasn't hard because she became unstable. Dan was so petty that he removed one of his daughter's from his will likely because she was supportive of her mother during their divorce. He was a heartless individual.
And your point?
He drove her to it! Plain and simple!
Love the series !
