    " Annastasia Hester was a single mother trying to provide for her young daughter. When she was found brutally murdered in her home, suspicion turned to her ex-husband and his new wife. Born Annastasia Diane Holmes and known to her friends as "Ann," she was born in 1981 and grew up in Gresham, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. Her father died when she was a teenager and she was raised by her mother and stepfather. She loved tabletop role-playing games and often hung out at a local gaming shop in Gresham. There, she met Matthew James Keone Hester, a fellow gaming enthusiast. Ann and Matt began dating and were married in 2008. In November 2011, their daughter was born. “She really loved him. She really did. She had every intention when they got married that they would be together the rest of her life,” friend Brianne Morganstern told “Snapped,"

More people should give therapy a go, at least try good things to aid your journey instead of hoping for the best, and then at that point your options become limited and sadly these can lead people to commit horrendous acts. It's really sad.

      @donaldbrandt7186,
      That is very true, and after finding out about the heinous murder we can definitely say;
      The amount of hatred and anger she collectively built inside her totally outweighed the love she had for her own children. Her pathetic brain stopped working, so she was no longer SANE or SOBER. Instead, she became very SELFISH and SADISTIC.
      I can't believe 2 women were actually fighting over this thing. Love is one thing, but to desperately try to hold onto someone who disrespects you is like giving them a green pass card to allow them to use and abuse.

    I am so blessed that my ex and his girlfriend and my boyfriend and I are close. We all RESPECT each other, and get along well. For anyone in a situation where co-parenting needs to happen, allow peace to accompany it for the sake of the kids. Unless you have an ex that cannot be trusted to keep the children safe. You have an additional mother/father figure that love the hell out of your kids that is not a bad thing. My boys call their stepmom Mom and it does not hurt my feelings, she is wonderful to them. You gotta move past whatever you feel and put the kids first.

      It’s near impossible to do that when your child’s dad is constantly changing partners & introducing your child to every one of them & their kids. As a mother you already sacrifice a lot but now I’m very conscious to not get into another relationship to not confuse her & it’s been 6 years. He has had 5 new partners. She is so aware though, I had to have a conversation with her.. this is what dad does. She gets attached to their children and all of a sudden they’re out of her life. It’s so cruel. Sorry I needed a rant 😂

A lot of 911 operator suffer from the calls they take. Unless you've been a dispatcher you need to sit down. And this is only coming from empathy because I've never been a dispatcher. I saw this story on a different RUclips page and that guy matt was in the interrogation room acting like he could barely walk because he was disabled but the cops had video evidence of him walking around just fine smh. A bunch of scammers that should of been in prison before something traggic like this happened. My heart breaks for the little girl who lost both parents

    This truly hits so close to home for me. Going through it with my ex and have been for a very long time. I was with him through it all (brain surgeries, radiation and mental health that followed and then verbal abuse on the daily, even in front of our son was the last of it for me. We divorced in 2018 and we are currently on our 2 modification because of his actions and I just want to all go away but fighting for my son and his making sure he gets a normal as possible upbringing is the only thing getting me through this.

    I think most people change after becoming a parent. I think sometimes one parent doesn’t change or want to while the other becomes the ultimate parent and changes who they are for the child. This can cause a strain on couples. I see a lot of divorce bc of this. My husband and I didn’t have a child for 10 years. Once my son came, our lives changed dramatically. My husband had a hard time giving away his freedom whereas everything I did was for my son. It did cause some issues and we almost separated multiple times. But after several years of working really hard and compromising on both of our parts, we have now been together for 24 years.

    It's utterly devastating. It's incomprehensible why some individuals can't simply walk away and let others be. If a relationship isn't working, just leave. 💔😢That little girl has been robbed of her loving mother, taken away by an act of senseless violence. Thankfully, she has her grandmother, but nothing can replace the presence of her mother. It's a stark reminder of the importance of prioritizing the well-being of our children above all else. If only everyone could understand the profound impact of their actions and simply choose to leave peacefully.

    This is just so sad smh. I am fortunate to have a very good relationship with my oldest son's father. Even with every one of his girlfriends. My son has a little brother from his dad's side and with that mom we are really good friends. They are no longer together and she still treats my son as if he was hers. Christmas, birthdays, etc we are there for each other. My boys are very fortunate and so am I.

    In order to try to get $2,300.00 in back child support, my X hired an attorney and between the two of us we spent over $4,000.00 in attorney fees. All for $2,300.00. Because I had moved and had a lesser paying job, the judge lowered my monthly payments $75.00 and tacked on an extra $50.00 per month until the $2,300.00 was paid off (and each party paid their own legal fees). In the end, my X received $25.00 less per month in child support. She was pissed. Who won? The Attorneys. So in the case you're talking about, to get $13,000.00 they wasted $29,000.00 on attorneys.
