- Today we are playing with something a little older than the normal stuff we have a mk2 caddy pickup, it’s definitely seen some work and has a few issues but is it worth saving?

Absolutely cracking, love seeing an old workhorse saved like this. Love to see you get those MOT bits done, to see it all sorted would be ace but budget and time like you say - for another time. Another episode would be great 👌

Would love to see another episode that sorts out the rust and helps with ensuring its longevity. A coat of paint can wait for another time. A Truckman top was available for these and would make it a nice little parts hauler 😎 Need to fit a DTE TV sticker too...

It's a rotten old turd that's not desirable. If it could be done cheap as in 300 quid or less then fine because that's all it's worth. Scrap weight. This needs both sills completely cutting off and new inners and outers welded on. That alone would be more than 300 quid. Almost that maybe even more for the new replacement sills if they are still available. Most parts for this car I bet are not available anymore. As soon as it's used regularly again all the bushes will soften up and it will drive awful and so will the shocks. Probably start leaking from rust build up tearing up the seals. It's just not worth it. It's called being an economical repair and it's not economical at all. Crazy people. Restore something desirable and special not this 😂😂

I think you should do what you can on this and do it from a DIY perspective. Maybe even purchase second hand equipment on a budget to show what you can do. Deserves to look good

It looks like it had money spent on it, fresh tyres etc and then got benched.. the tyres still have their factory paint lines on the tread..
I'd go mechanicals and mot, make it solid.. one thing about dubbers, they love rust and patina 😎

Temperature sensor is faulty 4 pin plug unplug it and it will start 👍🏻
It's a skoda felica pick up thr yellow ones are a skoda felicia fun... I got a fun and a felicia Estate but has the 1.416v afh out off a polo if ya need anything or help holla me orso that would run nicely on cooking oil and good of fuel there pron foe water leaking tho window screen check the foam under dash I got a central locking kit if ya mate wants it
