Nice man! I had got the dodge ram body and need to do this to it also , and by the way they sell E-6000 in a caulking tube , makes applying the glue a lot easier and saves the pain in your hands!
This type of tutorial video is really valuable thank you. Do you have any other tutorial videos maintenance wise for maxx? Maybe cleaning wise/ maintaining. I see people just hosing it down with degreaser. Just wondering what you guys thought. Also do you guys use thread lock for your screws is that necessary? We live in High Desert California and things get dirty and dusty .. We do know dirt Pebbles can grind Parts down so it's good to keep it maintained. Maybe there's a video out there you can direct me to.. Although The Maxx is pretty well maintainable by itself very tough / set it and forget it type of truck. Sorry for so many comments in recent days .. but hey good for youtube algorithms lol .
If you look in the RC Repair & Upgrades playlist, you’ll find a cleaning video. After a dirty run we blow off the cars with air, then spray them down with WD40 (helps remove grease/oil, helps plastic), then spray it down with Simple Green (50/50 mixture) and scrub. Then hose off and blown it off with air. Sometimes separating the chassis module (depending on model) is needed to remove rocks, and dirt.
Excellent videos, fellas! New subber here and was curious as to whether or not y'all had any nitros as well? I have a couple nitros and will be getting my first electric here soon (Sledge). Anywho.. Nitros?

That glue really works well, I've used it before drys clear
Great video, like that body armor
TRY PROLINE GLUE I know proline has been a let down but it the glue holds! No white streaks!
I try that out on the next body.
I put the RC Body Armor on my Maxx, and XMaxx. Love the stuff. It fits well with the side supports. Nice vid.
That rubber edging is a nice touch!
I found a medal tire glue applicator helped me. The medal needle helped get the glue inside where the rubber meets the body.
Didn’t have to take the whole latch apart, just the two pivot screws to keep things easier.
I always do that to my new bodys but with pl400

We do have the Losi 8ight RTR, runs great. Sledge is a great choice, we have a lot of repair videos for it and upgrades.
What is the black tubing called and where to buy? I'm going to share this to the Maxx FB Group. THANK YOU
It’s called RC Body Armor!
What is the black edge you put on the body? I need that for sure!
