Great upgrades, the stiffer suspension is a must. The stock suspension is so soft I was having issues with bottoming out at times from braking hard. I went with gpm springs and m2c pistons. Don’t remember the oil, either 40 or 50wt. Eager for the next Xmaxx video!
Approximately how much suspension sag do u run with on your cars? (If any) it looked like the xmaxx sat very high in its travel. I myself own a merv and maxx. Cheers from Sweden!
Thank you for the comment, since we bash a lot there’s not much sag. The MAXX is pretty low but that’s stock with 70W fluid. The X-MAXX naturally sits higher like a monster truck should. The Slash,, and merv we keep neutral because we race them a lot. The Stampede 4X4 VXL, and Rustler 4x4 VXL we also added thicker weight and better springs to handle jumps. As far as the Sledge and E-Revo, those are stock height but with thicker fluid. It really depends what your doing, but always make sure the shock springs are adjusted with the fluid your using.
Awesome vid, I noticed your channel the most popular video was the Max versus the Sledge but that was a year ago I think if you do Max versus Sledge 2.0 / one year later comparison/ (where/ how are they now/maintenance/ Upgrades kinda thing. It would be huge But maybe kraton vs Maxx And X-MAXX VS maxx video coming soon potentially. Your second highest rated video was Traxxas E-Revo versus the mini Revo. And Maxx vs Rustler. And I totally agree. Because When people are looking at cars like myself and they're not sure which one to get people search and try to figure out which one's better and which one suits them and honestly there's not much out there as far as side by side honest review. Feedback on ur experience is more valuable than People making expensive mistakes. Also ur maintenance videos are very helpful. I even think if you did videos like "things to know before buying your first rc car" "Or which New RC car is right for you?" kinda titles will really help.alot beginners who are trying to search. / HELP grow ur channel/ patron Just my feedback from watching ur channel. NICE SHOCKS BTW.. HUGGE!!
It’s a bit early to make our decision. There’s a lot to consider based off their differences. Even though they are the almost the same car besides size, they handle much different.

Thank you for the comments. Side note there is no Sledge 2.0, there were no mechanical changes.
Would you say the X Maxx is better than the Maxx or are they pretty much the same other than size?
Thanks

Way better than Maxx! No comparison 👊🏻
@@wyldebill7248MAXX is more durable
Depends what you mean by better. I have both. Maxx is waaaay more durable than XMaxx but for pure smiles Xmaxx is unbeatable.
Question are you gonna add aluminum upgrades like aluminum hub and diff cases ?
Most likely not, keeping the X-MAXX light helps durability. Heavy things don’t fall well haha.
Cool video. How's it holding out today?
So far so good, tearing apart diff soon for clicking noise. Will be a video!
