I trust that your valve cover gasket replacement was a success! You made it all look very easy. I’ve done this sort of thing on Hondas I’ve owned, but I wish I’d have tried to replace the timing chain and tensioner at the same time. I was too scared to try in the days before RUclips, lol! Aloha!
@@gary959Mazda dealer near me recommended to change that while you're at it. But they also told me it's not necessary, just good practice to do that one too as it's another thing that can leak.

Thank you for sharing this!
That’s the pcv valve that you disconnect?
Thanks man
Where did you get you gasket it holds on good
Hello, where did you put RTV?
Where the timing cover meets the cylinder head. It’s the passenger side near the 2 cam sprocket gears
Thank you, I'm getting ready to do mine this Saturday, I'm a little scare cause never done that.
How long to wait to turn on the car and drive?
Depends on the rtv used. Most say something like 12-24 hours of cure time being running the engine
I like you ky friend
While you're at it change the plugs, otherwise ...
what about the vvt solenoid gasket,,,that's what's leaking on mine
