I bought one of these a couple years ago and love it ..I might be alone in this but i didnt like the muzzle enhancer , thought was like a fake item hanging off the end. I replaced it with a typical birdcage type . I put a vortex strikefire 2 on mine plus a light and added a green laser .. Really nice home defense setup

I removed the perfectly acceptable A2 flash hider on mine and installed a knurled thread protector to shorten the overall length as much as possible. I took the FX-9 to the range yesterday and didn't shoot it because my friend and his son monopolized it. They shot three of my other guns, two costing much more than the FX-9, and they liked the FX-9 the best. I hope Classic Firearms kept the $600 FX-9 without the shooter's package. Some people want the base model so they can add the accessories they want. For example, I installed a Sightron red dot and prefer it to the more budget friendly AIM red dot in the current package deal.
Nice upgrades. Sometimes it sux to be an early adopter. I love my FX-9s (pistol and carbine) and am happy to support great efforts like these but am starting to second-guess my decision to jump in early. A retrofit package at a smoking price would be nice.

I keep reading reviews that say the 17 round mags DO NOT fit, and it makes me wonder WHY you keep including them, when you have to know they don't work? IF you didn't didn't try them beforehand, surely you must have seen the MANY comments (Nearly all, regardless of how much they liked the pistol) complaining about the 17 round mags not fitting.

I'd give a left low hanging appendage for an FX-10. And someone desperately needs to make a 30 round Glock compatible 10mm magazine. Why wasn't that done at least ten years ago? Was there some secret meeting where that was deemed too awesome for mere mortals?

Just buy the bare gun , then GLOCK mags and set it up your way !

It shift all the force and sound forward, so it's gonna kick a little harder, but will shootout fireballs and you don't hear it as much.

That would be awesome, but the appeal of one of these little 9mm is cheap ammo and it's a great suppressed round.
