It's nice to know i can quilt on my domestic machine. Thanks for the tutorial.❤❤❤❤.
You are so very welcome
so much fun to sit n listen to u n yr dog. An all yr quilting. Thx😊
I love the way you give different options for your methods.
I have watched this video several times and each time I ❤ it more than before. I plan on trying this myself 😊 keep the ideas coming!
I like this method you have used, it makes more sense than the traditional method. And i love your fabric selection. You make quilting far more enjoyable, and puppy noises are hilarious. ❤
Margaret from PA in the USA here. I really like the double pinwheel pattern. You had me chuckling about having fabric for five years. Of course I am old as dirt 😂 but I must have fabric left from 50 + years ago. And some things I have collected over the years are fabrics from the 1930’s and 40’s including feed sack fabric. I vowed to use up all my fabrics, but it’s not happening. 😂 I agree with your philosophy of not wasting fabrics. I enjoy your videos very much. Wish you much success with your channel❣️
Thank you Margaret some one said I think 10 or 20 years but 50 plus I would love to see what 50 plus fabric looks like are you able to send me a pic ?
Thanks for sharing
I have been wanting a good tutorial on QAYG in a better way and you delivered! Ty so much this was very helpful. Also, I loved your life lesson discussion and how you taught your students. They were very lucky to have someone like you looking out for their success
Well done Karen! ❤ Loved your video
Hi Karen, it's Lyndal from Melbourne here. Thankyou for your videos and your very clever, helpful ways to construct a quilt that is not so conventional. I love your pieced backing, I have used similar ways of constructing a back from smaller pieces of fabric and simply love that you can have 2 quilts in 1. I also love to use up fabrics and have quite a collection of fat quarters from when I first learnt to quilt, more than 30 years ago. My favourite pieces that I have not yet found an appropriate way to use, are 3 cotton dresses from my mother that are probably about 50 years old. She gave them to me to use when I first started quilting. I don't want to mess it up.
Wow what a beautiful message hi Lynda how are you?, what about cutting them into a 10 squares the blocks will be large and you came see the fabrics. I love that you have the dresses so great. Wow would love to see them 50 years old amazing ….
@@CraftyQuiltingDesigns Thankyou for your suggestion. It is simple, but a good idea. I have 4 children and 7 grandchildren, and would dearly like to also make each of them a little something highlighting the fabrics for them to keep as a keepsake.😊
@@lyndalhancock518 how about make a special block from the dress and place it in all the quilts for the family
@@CraftyQuiltingDesigns I love that idea. Thankyou so very much.❤
Love watching your tutorials you are so swet and i love your accent Karen❤❤❤❤❤❤

Love this quilt pattern Karen!!! Pinwhells have been my go to pattern this year. Keep up the good work, love your videos....
❤ it, makes life easier when quilting that’s for sure. I believe you can call it your ‘scrabric’ quilting method lol
I bought the same machine after watching your video on it, I’m in love with it!
I’m even going to attempt free motion with it x
You go girl yes you can
I love the sewing tips, with demonstration. You make it look easy.
It is easy thanks Lucille
💞 Love it Karen - another gorgeous quilt. I love your music too!
Thank you so much!
I 💗 love your videos! I have a small recommendation. I'm hard of hearing and when you have music playing very loud at the same time you are talking it is hard to make out what you said. Please turn it off when talking or turn it very low. Otherwise you are an inspiration and I love your work! Thank you for all the great tutorials!!
Yes that was a mistake I was kicking myself so sorry my apologies
I agree with the music. I’d much rather hear your sweet voice and giggles instead of music.
@@Debisjoy I love the giant grin with the giggles too! It's the best kind of contagious.
Love to watch all your tutorials. This quilt came out so cute. Thank you. 💘🙏💘
You are very welcome thanks a whole lot
Love both the traditional front and the back ! The colours on both sides are just awesome, thanks again
Love the quilt and love your videos

What a wonderful message you show to us about the future. Works for your students that time and works as today in a daily life . ❤❤❤
❣ Love this so much that I purchased the pattern! Ha!
Oh thanks a lot wow do let me have a pic so I share when you make it thanks again
Thank you❤
Just lovely the colors and pattern.
I count also! In fact before I started watching you, I wouldn’t use the mat to measure always just used the rulers. Now I use the markings in coordination with my rulers. I saw how much better it worked. Thanks!
That is awesome!
I just made a tshirt quilt and have been trying to figure out how to do the FMQ and it just isn't for me. Thank you for normalizing using a walking foot and straight stitch! Also I'm quilting it in rows and this is a much better way than what I was thinking. Thank you again!!!
You are very welcome
It’s lovely.❤
Thank you love ❤️ your videos you can be different It’s ok 🥰🥰🥰

God question it is not rough it’s feels part of the quilt
I agree can’t the music
I’m not hard of hearing but the music is a bit loud especially when you are talking. I just need to concentrate on what you are saying💕
Yeah that was a on editing error my apologies

The music is so loud it's hard to hear you at times.
