I bought my 2024 4Runner ORP in March (In transit) and picked up in June. Glad I did because now there are very few to pick from at the dealerships. I love the interior and the way the dials are big and not small clustered push buttons and small knobs. As far as lack of speed, who cares, this truck is not made for speed.
I choose the 5th gen...proven winner and reliability 2nd to none. V6 isn't a barn burner but that may be because of 'only' 5 speeds in the tranny. I'll vote for old and reliable over the new 4cyl turbo. Me, I own a 23 ORP in Lunar Rock...
You’re kind of late on this… if you didn’t already know that getting a 2024 was the way to go, you better run (and I mean run) to get one. I bought my 2024 TRD ORP in Underground in August and now those dealerships have literally no 4Runners in stock. You can find a few if you look hard enough, but they’re flying off the lots and they aren’t getting more. Out of the six dealerships around me there is only one 4Runner left on the lot, it’s a white TRD Pro and it has a $6k mark up. They’ll be plenty on the used market though, but those prices will start to climb as demand for them increases. If you want one, better lock one down sooner rather than later. *edit: The 4Runner has a metal skid plate, they all do. It’s just plain black metal. I think you’re talking about the TRD skid plate? Those only come stock on the Pros and an option on the Off Roads. Mine didn’t have it, but I bought the OEM skid plate and put it on myself. It’s a TRD so it should have a TRD skid plate, IMO.
Buy a 2024 Off-Road Premium and never look back, and never sell it
Did it ✅
@@invalidonlineid I’m proud of you
Don't wait 2024 with the V6 is the best

Buy now, Toyota isn't the same Toyota they use to be. Owner of a 2023 4Runner TRD ORP in Lime Rush ☝️😁
