A disgorger. It’s a tool to safely unhook from the fishs mouth if unable to do by hand. .. the pros have them in the ear like a joiner does with his pencil 😂

Don't ever walk backwards with a snagged pole with the tip out the water. Always keeps the tip under the water as you pull the snag. I've seen what can happen otherwise. Let's just say that float turns into a bloody lethal dart at high speed!
