    He makes it sound so easy…
    BOOM BOOM BOOM! 😂
    Just taking all furniture out of the way can be pretty tough job…
    I’m not a big fan of knee-kicker stretchers but this was a good demo.
    It might not be realistic of me but I’m always hopeful that the flooring industry will eventually come up with better ways of attaching/gripping carpets and move from using tacks and nails.
    I lost count of how many times I’ve hurt myself when walking barefooted in our house and other folks’ houses only to step on tacks underneath carpet edges…especially between room divisions such as from dinning room to kitchen, living room to kitchen, hallway to bathrooms, etc.
    Thank you!

      Use the head of your hammer and push down moving across the pins. It will bend the pins down! No more pricks!

      The reason you get bubbles in the first place is because the use a knee kicker to install. They are only good for small rooms because you need to actually stretch the carpet. He used to other tool to help pull but theirs still going to be a slack at the end not much but it'll be there @@miguelrodriguez1353

    Would a wall trimmer work on these restreach jobs?

    • @CarpetExpertBlueprint
      @CarpetExpertBlueprint  4 года назад +2

      ReinSman100 yep as long as there is enough material going up the wall. In this video/ scenario it would for sure but I’ve had lots of restretches where I’m only pulling an inch up the wall in those scenarios it’s easier just to cut with a knife in my opinion

  • @kalebbond6104
    @kalebbond6104 2 года назад +2

    That’s what you get wrinkles in your carpet because you knee kick the carpet instead of power stretch what’s with Americans not properly laying carpet .

  • @thomasolson7447
    @thomasolson7447 3 года назад +1

    Cement nails never go in that easy to me. You're just gingerly hitting that stuff and it goes it. I can be hitting it with the rathe of god and it wont go in. And when it does go in a chunk of the floor gets removed. It's probably the quality of steel in the tack strips.

    Did the homeowner see the wobbly wall? Should have paused the whole thing until the root of that, and the wall, was fixed.😢

    Are you serious, you should be ashamed. The gripper looked old and blunt the underlay was over the gripper the first time and then you hacked it off short.
