Hi bro. I came across an 'Approved used by Lexus' IS 300h -2013 and 70k on Odo for £ 12k in Brighton. with 3 previous owners; I saw the car, magnificently clean and accident-free. I really dont wanna spend beyond this price for a car, instead I just wanna by Lexus or Toyota as I dont want any headache or middle of the night breakdown, do you reckon this car? Cheers
If it is a 2013 it will just be out of warranty. If you see any cars up to 10 years old they are still covered by manufacturers warranty. (provided it has Lexus dealer service history). Regarding this 2013 plate one you found, as long as it has been serviced each year and has the Hybrid certificate that is current (as you don't want to be stung with a dud battery pack). It should be a good buy over all as we have owned an IS 300h for 5 years and outwith regular maintenance items (brakes etc) it has only required a new aircon unit and a horn.
Also if you look for a premier spec it will have all the technology that keeps the car feeling young - cooled seats, mark lev sound, blind spot on mirrors etc

Regarding manufacturer's warranty you are absolutely right but I think while they are selling as Approved Used, like Honda Toyota etc they will give 12 months sellers warranty; but I'll check with them definitely and ask for FSH and battery health certificate.
@@pandomax I can't help you as if you want it then just buy it lol. This IS 300h is not even at 80k miles yet. There are websites and apps to help people buy cars
@@pandomax well my mum paid £14k for her IS 300h with around 50k miles on it. However I don't know which country you are in to know the rate. I would personally aim to get one under 200k km just due to suspension etc will be worn on a 380k example.

Does it make sense to buy it with 380,000 km?

depends if the asc is turned on or not hehe! fairly quiet more than anything else

if it helps the US gets the 300,350 and 500 that we never got.
And the US still gets the IS - the beautiful 3rd face-lift from 2020/21! Here in the UK no new IS at all after 2020 😒
In every other car it is called "annodized" but I get why you would call it "adonized" in a Lexus
