I like their CVTs, reliable and ultra-efficient, the "noise" is not for everyone but, on the positive side, it was a so much better type of box that it is banned in F1.
Thanks for your review, it's hard to find quality content that shows the features on this car - especially through F Sport version. If you add F Sport to your title/description others may be able to find it easier 🙂
Very nice review of your IS300h F Sport here. I was lead to believe that the ride is quite hard as it’s an F Sport model?? The interior trim looks great and you have the MLevinson sound system which is the best!! Be good to see other reviews regarding servicing and maintenance etc…🤔😉👍🏻
When it comes to servicing it I’d highly recommend going over to Lexus as their customer service is just outstanding! Maintenance you could possibly diy is cleaning the hybrid battery fan and filter. Apart from that just enjoy driving it! Very reliable and comfortable car!
In my opinion based on the performance it delivers handles accordingly. Not very direct, definitely not in the sports cars territory . However the comfort that this car delivers for such small size is fantastic. So I think Lexus engineering team managed to do a great balance between comfort, handling and efficiency .
I recommend 20% VLT rear screen for visibility at night & 5% rear side windows looks the business + keeps light out. The rear screen does not let in much light because sides are dark but you win with good visbility & privacy. Speaking to a pro tinter he recommends use quality film thats scratch resistant rather than following the marketing trend for new materials being introduced. Leave the fronts alone to avoid being troubled by the Police staty legal & as your test has proved there is already a factory tint.
@@AA-os1sg can you break this down for me in layman’s terms? I am looking to get an is300h soon and will want to implement your advice about the tinting.
@@TopBoi93Do the Side windows dark so nobody can see in and the rear windscreen at 20% to allow the light in this allows you to have better visibility when reversing. Even though the car has a reverse camera during heavy downpours it can have poor visibility. Keep in mind the rear screen has no wiper so your on your own when reversing. With the side windows dark and rear also dark you have poor visibility especially at night hence keep the rear screen light to help when reversing. Privacy is perfect nobody can see in. Hope this helps.
These are quite reliable cars. But as with every car there are things to look for . If you want watch my video on 9 things to do after you buy your Lexus is300h
What is the difference between cvt and e-cvt? I am looking to purchase a 2016 lexus is300h and am confused as I saw some that say cvt and others that say e-cvt? Which one do you recommend?

Brilliant car all around! Especially the f sport
@@Battery-PoweredNah.
I have that exact car in white with mark levinson and heated and cooled seats, I’d love the red leather though.
It is the best car as a daily drive

Thank You for the suggestion !
The F sport is quite rare on UK roads, I have the premier trim
@@RevLexus. I’m a FSport owner really like your model as has all the extras, and real leather seats, not the pretend stuff
What trim is better, premier or fsport?
@@TopBoi93 I’d go for F sport 100%

What year is it and how many miles does it have?
2015 87.000
Great review im looking for one after house purchase atm with recession might come im just going to wait before i jump in.
Glad you found it helpful ! :)

Holding a phone while driving and calling someone else an idiot? 😂
I have seen premier trim and then I have seen f sport with a premier pack added on. Which is the better option?
I love the fact that mine has the F speedometer, cooled seats, the more aggressive exterior lines and definitely the wheels
@@Battery-Powered thanks
What does the premier pack add to the FSport
@@shane6115 premier and Fsport are two different trims
good video, is there an awd hybrid model? Thank you
No unfortunately not . You have to go to the RX range( SUV) to be able to get AWD
How long are is300h’s known to last for in regards to mileage?
I’ve seen examples with over 200k
@@Battery-Powered thanks. I’m looking to use this car for uber (taxi) as well as personal use. What do u think?
@@TopBoi93 They will last longer than you'll live.
@george605 is spot on - as long it is maintained by the book.
@topboi9392
Did you buy to use on uber ,?
Good Video 📹 👍

Great video, well edited too!
Consider getting windows tinted? Factory is usually 20% VLT
I had a different plan. Something quite a bit more interesting:))

I never thought I’d like the red interior in any car…. Until I got inside this one. Definitely elevates the interior quality

I know Nissan cvt’s are not the most reliable but Toyota makes very good CVT gearboxes.
Ecvt is completely different from cvt, look for information about toyota hybrid construction on RUclips.
Lexus/Toyota eCVT uses a planetary gear system not belts and cones. It is tried and tested and super reliable.
Audi multitronic is a pile of shit in comparison😂
Please i need help with the difference between an is250 and an is300h is the only difference the fact that its a hybrid?
Engine and gearbox is also different
So its the same car in terms of look but does less horse power and has a different gearbox correct?
@@alfredobeten1989 yes
Im thinking of getting this or a 96 celica
Good choice
Do all F sport have the cooled seats and Mark Levinson sound system?
No unfortunately not
Just needs some tints
I was actually considering tinting all the windows at one point
Is 300h a fsport?
Mine was , and I love that trim option!
Yes its not very fast for 220bhp it runs like 180bhp diesel
I agree. But it’s more reliable

Aww is still eCVT?? 😂😂😂
It is eCVT. That does make it more reliable but definitely not sporty . :D
