And people say games aren't art. That games can't make us feel the same way about characters as they do in books. That they can't make us lament their deaths. This is proof enough!
Cole let his best friend Zeke get a chance to shoot even thou Cole turned evil, friends, best friends brothers would give each other a chance, that's how friends, best friend, and brothers should be 😪 oh and good job giving Zeke a chance 😂
You know going back you realise the beast is a great compelling villain, one that i havent seen i think ever in gaming. Hes not a mindless monster, he truly wants to save the world and as many people as possible. Because he sees it as the only way. Hes not aware of the rfi but even if he did theres still no way of knowing if it will work. He knows what hes doing is wrong and absolutely horrible but he cant stop because he may be the only hope anyone gets out of this. Making him one of my favourite villains
This was actually going to be Sucker Punch's canon ending, the true ending. They even planned an infamous 3 from this point but because most people chose to do the good path, they made the good ending canon. I wish they can go back and made an infamous 3 where Cole is the villian and we play as his brother that was hinted at in Infamous 2. There's no way they dropped that one small hint if they weren't planning on utilising it later.
Or played as delsin rowe to tried stop Cole cuz what is the whole point to end the conduit in infamous 2 just bring an excuse about bringing new conduit in the second son infamous.
Ok, this ending is so much more emotional and cooler than the good ending. I mean, I love the part where Zeke is like "I gotta try". I should have chosen this one.
I honestly wish this ending was canon as I think it would've led to Second Son being a much better game with a superior plot where Cole is the villain.
Aron Redfield what's so awesome about this game is that if u chose the dark side that decision rips you to shreds. All the anticipation to this epic battle is hurt by your decision this game was awesome and I wish there was a game as good at decisions as this one
Darkeclipse 270, after Second Son, this ending is more realistic than the Good ending. The RFI killed all conduits when Cole flipped the switch. Sucker Punch had to make a plot hole for Second Son to have a story. Delsin only survived because of the distance between Seattle and New Marais which is bs since Conduits overseas were “keeling over” as Zeke puts it in the Hero ending.
yeah I can't believe I was sleeping on it before. Was the time there was that inFamous vs Prototype war going on lol...and I picked prototype. Not to take away from that, because it was an amazing game too. But this was so much better
Best way to do this mission, especially the first fight against Nix: do enough side missions, if not all of them to get the Blast Shard Sense( get max energy ) and hold 3 Ionic Charges as you can then use Ionic Drain even without draining people as it seems to absorb the atomic particles in the air around you; plus, combined with Infamous Rank, you get Bio Leech Overload which is Unlimited energy for a few seconds( Precison the fuck out of Nix)
When I was a kid I played this game and it became my favorite (and still is my favorite), but because of the gameplay and the rest, it was the first and so far the only game that made me cry. I came from playing Infamous 1 and HAVING TO KILL the protagonist's best friend with your own hands killed me and I didn't want to do it, Art...
I really wish Nate Fox stuck to his guns and made this ending canon and made the game he planned to make instead of caring about the trophy data, we didn't even know we were voting, the only hope there is left for the sequel to this ending is after they finish making ghost of tsushima
Nostalgia. Doing the good side had a good ending. I wanted to complete both sides tho. Everything was going well until I saw Zeke. Then it said to kill Zeke. My literal reaction (I got grounded for this), " Nigga what the fuck."
Good ending was a satisfying end to wrap up Cole's arc Evil ending is pretty emotional and would've set a really good alternate sequel Imagine if Sucker Punch branched the series in two different paths instead of focusing on what most people chose, with Infamous Second Son tying in to the good end and a game titled "Infamous 3" which continues the first two games from the bad ending, giving it the 3 in the title to show that it's not starting from a clean slate like Second Son. But I wouldn't wanna put Sucker Punch through development hell for it
it's a paradox.... Kessler finds himself fighting his own self as Cole (Beast) and the story just keeps repeating itself because he's always traveling to the past to 'prepare' Cole... without knowing he was creating what was at first trying to prevent... If Kessler had fought the 1st beast in his time and defeated it then there wouldn't had been any repeating circle.... watch the movie ''12 monkeys'' to understand better
You know, this makes me wonder if the good version of Cole could pull off a plan where he tricks John into thinking he was on his side long enough for John to power him up, before immediately striking his head from behind with his now strengthened lightning, in order to buy more time for the RFI to charge. Of course the one issue with that is if he shared his plan back there on the roof, Kuo would be able to warn John, whereas if he pretended he was gonna side with him, Nix would probably have stolen the RFI like here. Although I guess he could call her after their meeting.
I hate how a couple missions before this Cole told Zeke how he's been treating him like shit and Zeke's always had his back and thanks. Then at the end he kills him to create a superior race of conduits like Bertrand was going to.
My first ever PlayStation 3 game. Skipped the first and beat the second. Went to beat the first just to go beat second son. Where's the remaster or continuation of the story? I need this heart breaking story. I want to feel this and more in a remastered version.
I really don't get why the game pushes this ending as Evil considering that siding with the beast guaranteed that they could stop the Plauge and the RFI wasn't guaranteed to work and if it didn't everyone would have been screwed.
And what's even worse is that it was karma locked, if it wasn't I woud've been good and pucked this ending almost every time, because I honestly don't like the good ending almost at all
This series deserves a remake. The beast is suppose to be a destructive force of nature. Where are the volcanos that were in the vision. I understand because of the PS3 they couldn't take it up a notch.
Question, Cole becomes the beast in Infamous 2, and in Infamous 1 John becomes the beast only because cole found and either activated or destroyed the second ray sphere... so who was the beast in Kessler's time?
The problem with this series is that the rogue choice WAS the right choice initiating A dominance shift to favor the conduits and what did humanity do but either try to destroy or use conduits for weapons of war the choices literally are genocide and suicide or just genocide
@dasd282 Ikr? After completing the good karma part of the game i thought how bad could evil karma be? Then when i was killing Zeke i felt a complete douche and yea i was shedding a few tears too lol
@Infestedpee . No I saw an official interview if it was based on the bad ending then you would play as Cole, no Cole was a legend to them Cole was an idol so people started rising up to become heroes look it up I'm not trying to shun anyone my speech is based on facts
Zeke Dunbar, the hardest boss in the entire series. Just by the fact you don't want to kill him...makes him immortal
+Jason860 :(
FrozenSquidward monster
he has a middle name: Zeke jedediah Dunbar :D
Yet he dies every time (you choose evil)
And people say games aren't art. That games can't make us feel the same way about characters as they do in books. That they can't make us lament their deaths. This is proof enough!
Fucking brony
Zeke's death has got to be the saddest in all of video game history.
I wish it was, I feel like Cole's story ended too soon
The real Broly I know
@The real Broly they should just split the timeline, release second son as good canon and infamous 3 as evil.
No, Trish's Death was
John: "Cole? Where are you?"
Cole: Right on your head :3
Killing Zeke... killed me... I remember me being a 10 year old boy crying in my dad's room because of it. It still makes me cry as an 18 year old.
Weird😄. But killing him is a mercy kill
I love how when he is killing Nix they get on the phone and have a conversation lol
Cole let his best friend Zeke get a chance to shoot even thou Cole turned evil, friends, best friends brothers would give each other a chance, that's how friends, best friend, and brothers should be 😪 oh and good job giving Zeke a chance 😂
Damn this game was SO GOOD! It really need remaster
hell yeah
Half as long,
remake is better
We need sequel of evill cole aka the beast

I was sad when the game ended. This game had equal amount of an awesome story and awesome gameplay. Such a giant leap from the first game
@Touko Lattu infamous 2 got the better setting and story though
@@joseguevara3269 infamous 2 story is based on karma, which is why it's worse.
I was more emotional with the bad ending than the good ending when I was a kid.
I’m glad they made the good ending canon against their own wishes. It’s so much better
Ok, this ending is so much more emotional and cooler than the good ending. I mean, I love the part where Zeke is like "I gotta try". I should have chosen this one.

Me too
This game was pretty underrated
"Cole, where are you? Get back here!"
That was supposed to sound menacing/evil, but it honestly just sounded like John was a tired dad or something.
Thanks for watching & commenting!
Sucker punch made this ending justifiable
The good ending kills all
Why couldn't this ending be canon? I wish we had an alternate sequel.
Aron Redfield what's so awesome about this game is that if u chose the dark side that decision rips you to shreds. All the anticipation to this epic battle is hurt by your decision this game was awesome and I wish there was a game as good at decisions as this one
David O'Toole The walking dead there's your game.
Most players chose the good ending. Real shame. Nate Fox wrote the evil ending to be Canon.
Michael Haney no not real shame, at least zeke lives and we still had cole in festivale of blood,

Or considering the creators of infamous said the evil karma endings are non-canon they could make a game about cole surviving and regaining his powers
OMG I cried blood when Cole and Zeke were "fighting"....it was so sad...
Something must of happened with the ray sphere during Kessler's timeline, there could of even been a whole different set of conduits back then.
The music of the part to kill Zeke is so beautiful..
I’m so happy this isn’t the ending that happened, otherwise zeke wouldn’t be in infamous second son
one of the saddest endings in gaming
I never expected nix to be the good person in the end
Me either yet she kinda still wasn't and just didn't want everyone to be powerful as them
Thanks for posting this. So Sad!!

I've decided. I'm replaying this game for the 9th and 10th time over the summer.
No one told me the Evil ending was so good.
Mitchell Jenkins you get the chance to ally yourself with the Beast

I dont think I've ever been so sad because of a video game ending.
Anyone know the name of the song that starts at 1:23?
The good ending is probably canon, just like the first one so no need to worry to much, and nice play on the companies name. :^)
I hate how a couple missions before this Cole told Zeke how he's been treating him like shit and Zeke's always had his back and thanks. Then at the end he kills him to create a superior race of conduits like Bertrand was going to.

One thing I don't get, if they wanted to honor the decisions of both evil and heroic partys in infamous 2, wouldn't they make a version for evildoers?
im still wondering what happened to the Amp

Actually, Delsin's (Second Son's new hero) abilities are smoke, while Nix had control over fire.
I wonder what the infamous 3 story is gonna be

pre order DLC
It took ten extra days to change in good karma,it was worth not having to have this ending
3:35 dont you just hate when that happens?
that part killing zeke touched me
How did you get the katana?
He gets his powers from/while saving people from a bus crash or fire.................. just go on the wiki.
I think that the people with new powers are in inFamous SS like the guy who gave delsin his smoke powers
wow he is no longer the demon of raven city he now become the beast
THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!!!!!
I'd agree with that

yep both awesome games :)
Should of used that lightning tether more to get up those high places.
What's the song that's playing when you... "fight" Zeke...
Same!!! Omg...its crazy that he has to kill his best friend.
uh oh, we got a bad ass ove here

Sad but a good story...
What happened to the lightning tether? All that climbing slowed the gameplay down.
He shouldn't use the sniping ability that much, it costs to much power
he can use the cable to climb.
then we through through what wwhat did we through
it was so sad killing your best friend.
I'm kind of suprised that you didn't each the rank Infamous, get enough blast cores, and get all three ionic cores yet.
