While trying to get information of Hank, she attacks and tortures Delsin's tribe. That's unacceptable, and needs to be punished. Lets go to when she killed Reggie. She had no reason to, other than he was in the way. Conduits can be accepted into the world, but not everyone will like that. Having them all pinned up in a cage where they do experiements on them is inhumane, and just plain disgusting. Can't they just enforce Conduits not to use their powers in public? It wouldn't scare people, and the baddies would disappear for it. Much better way to handle this than putting everyone in a cage.

EDIT: To back up this point: -Conduits are highly resistant to damage, where they can take more than enough bullets to kill someone and be fine 30 seconds later. -Conduits also tend to have plenty of incredible powers, well suited for killing. -They were introduced to the world in a massive explosion (the Empire City Ray Sphere blast) -There is a heavy implication that the Government is using Conduits to justify a police state. -One Conduit (The Beast) caused untold destruction to the Eastern Seaboard. -Many Conduits appear to be mentally unstable to some degree (Sasha, Alden Tate and Nix come to mind).
Yes conduits can be dangerous and people have every right to be afraid. The problem is letting that fear turn into hate and harming others just because they have powers. As both Cole and Delsin proved conduits can be good people

We're at a war with these Bio-Terrorists when decoded might mean: A) We - referring to herself and someone around her, which is probably Delsin. They're both conduits. B) With - When you're in a war, you say against, not with. Unless you're on the same side with them... Seeing her background story made me understand her. Augustine is an amazing character that never got her time to blossom into what she could be. While the RFI did kill a large majority of Conduits, especially overseas and was even shown in the ending of Infamous 2, according to this game out somehow didn't kill all of them. Augustine for example, was one of the soldiers that was trying to stop the Beast as it made its way down the East Coast, but survived along with the little girl. In the wake of the Beast's destruction and the events in Infamous 2, a massive witch hunt took place to hunt down any Conduit both the civilians and the military can find and kill them, as shown when the military aimed their weapons at Augustine. It's a mess, I know, but that's how it is.
Augastine is not one of the best villains by far. But she's definitely got to be in my top 5 of the best female antagonists. Such power, such determination and her own motives. Incredible character!
Well it's simple. Cole rampaged through the world. Killing humans and activating conduits. So the world would just be a giant conduit Paradise. However if LOVE to play as the beast. That would be fun
It was based off both endings, not the good ending only. It’s directly quoted in the game that there was a massive war between conduits and the military. It’s quoted literally in this video. If this was based only the good ending of infamous, the DUP wouldn’t exist and there wouldn’t be any mention of a war. How they take from both endings is up for debate but I have a few ideas. The good ending parts are: Cole did Die and ended the plague, stopped the beast and also Zeke lived. The evil ending parts are: there was a war between conduits and the military, a lot of conduits were made because of the blast from John transferring his power to cole. It’s not specified what parts are taken but it’s not just one ending, if that was the case like I said, There wouldn’t be any mention of a war between Conduits and the Military and there wouldn’t be that many conduits since the RFI killed all the conduits on the planet and cured the plague.
i love this game so much! the only thing is the boss fights are so hard - specifically eugine and the final two augistine forms. i really think the difficulty spike is just excessive at the end. 'first light' has a wonderful ending though - and it's not too hard :)

You know that if they make a sequel like Infamous: Second Age or something like that, it will revolve partially on Conduits turning against humanity, or at least some of them. But hey, new powers right? Glass, Wire, that would be sweet.

I don't care how justified she was, she basically crafted the infamous games version of Weapon X and Prison 42 combined. in the next game, I want a villain who DOESNT have good intentions , like Bertrand and Shane did. because then people start identifying and sympathizing with the villain and label what they did as "yes it was Bad, but they were in the right for thinking and doing what they did because they were trying to save people"...that worked with Kessler, after that it got old (the beast).
Damn Agustine is actually smart in this game, she knows that Delsin is weak for a while after draining someone’s powers so she let him drain her powers to beat him easily. Its pretty poor tho, making a Fight Unfair and losing anyway.
What is interesting is how Delsin pauses after Augustine makes her offer, telling him how the military might just go back to killing Conduits without the D.U.P. around. And for a moment, he considers it. Because he knows it's entirely possible, she's not entirely wrong. He's seen the prejudice Conduits get just for being suspected, and that without restraint, the military may just start killing and not deal with the hassle of bringing them in. It's a risk for sure, is the world even ready to embrace Conduits? Or will they just be turned on once more? But he ultimately knows that whatever good intentioned place she's coming from, she's wrong, and he has to stop her. She's gone too far, lost her way, and has to be brought down. Even if it means risking a return to the "good ol' days," because he believes things will be different this time.
I find it funny that the thing I love about this game is the thing I hate the most about it, the choices they either have you become a super hero or a super villain there is no gray zone

So Augustine got to essentially see what Bertrand wanted. I feel like this story line isnt connected to the other 2 games because according to sucker punch the ending they chose as canon was the good one since most players chose it the first time around. The original plan was to have the bad ending be the canon one where cole becomes the beast and it more lines up with this game of how the military try to eliminate them, and how powers can be given by other conduits(the beast mainly). So it seems like a conjunction between the 2 of both what bertrand wanted and the beast ending from infamous 2
Yeah, Infamous Second Son is one of my favorite games this year. My only gripe was that even with the side missions it felt rather short, but that was about it. I still thought it was an awesome game, and a much better way to introduce people to a PS franchise than Killzone Shadow Fall did
Simple, it’s like the snap, it was a random selection amongst people with the conduit gene. Some people survived while others died. It didn’t kill ALL conduits.
A villain who secretly survived the blast in Empire City who sided with the military and worked in the shadows is such a neat concept but just like everything good in this game they barely did anything with it.

So Augustine wanted to save her spices from a world where they would be killed and hunted, but at the price of their freedom. But our protagonist here wanted to forcibly thrust them back into freedom with a high chance of them still being shuned by society and hunted. I think I,l pick Augustine thank you very much!

lol I must be horrible at this game because I had a lot of trouble with this fight. There was a point where I would be OHKO'd by her stop attack, and 2HKO'd by the "grenades" over and over. It's been a few years since I've used anything but a mouse and keyboard and clearly I'm still very rusty. =)

The second I heard the words "And now Empire City... is dead." I turned to darkness, not giving two shits about peace and happiness. All I know is darkness. Darkness, red powers and evil. callum oliver delsin had to fight with the boss battles with their own power (eugene boss battle was an exception, also first augustine boss battle)... remember how it happened with hank and fetch? delsin first absorbed their power (or copied, like sharingan) then fought with them with the powers he gained
Augustine may be an easy boss, but he have to admit her 'monster' forms are awsome with great detai epecially the onix one.The only down side to getting her power that I've seen is that it has no karmatic streak attack which I belive should be at least ONE of the creatures.

Cole is the Villain and Delsin is the protagonist
It was based off both endings, not the good ending only. It’s directly quoted in the game that there was a massive war between conduits and the military. It’s quoted literally in this video. If this was based only the good ending of infamous, the DUP wouldn’t exist and there wouldn’t be any mention of a war. How they take from both endings is up for debate but I have a few ideas. The good ending parts are: Cole did Die and ended the plague, stopped the beast and also Zeke lived. The evil ending parts are: there was a war between conduits and the military, a lot of conduits were made because of the blast from John transferring his power to cole. It’s not specified what parts are taken but it’s not just one ending, if that was the case like I said, There wouldn’t be any mention of a war between Conduits and the Military and there wouldn’t be that many conduits since the RFI killed all the conduits on the planet and cured the plague.
i love this game so much! the only thing is the boss fights are so hard - specifically eugine and the final two augistine forms. i really think the difficulty spike is just excessive at the end. 'first light' has a wonderful ending though - and it's not too hard :)

Honestly, I think Augustine was right in her actions, for the most part. You know that if they make a sequel like Infamous: Second Age or something like that, it will revolve partially on Conduits turning against humanity, or at least some of them. But hey, new powers right? Glass, Wire, that would be sweet.

These games take normal people, people you won't even notice(Sash was probably a whore, Alden was an homeless, Delsin is a tagger, Eugene is a gamer, Fetch is a junkie and hell, Cole was a fucking bike courier!) and make them superpowered badasses. Besides, Augustine isn't protecting humanity. As evidanced by many of her actions near the end, she cherishes conduit life and doesn't care about human ones. Hell, I think that she was planning to use an army of conduits to kill humans! Celia is a freaking sociopath that loves to see blood thanks to her mother figure, Augustine.

and If I recall, conduits Have indeed died by her D.U.P's hands, in situations just like the "boss isn't here, lets kill the conduit freak" thing with Hank.
I don't care how justified she was, she basically crafted the infamous games version of Weapon X and Prison 42 combined.
in the next game, I want a villain who DOESNT have good intentions , like Bertrand and Shane did. because then people start identifying and sympathizing with the villain and label what they did as "yes it was Bad, but they were in the right for thinking and doing what they did because they were trying to save people"...that worked with Kessler, after that it got old (the beast).

Damn Agustine is actually smart in this game, she knows that Delsin is weak for a while after draining someone’s powers so she let him drain her powers to beat him easily. Its pretty poor tho, making a Fight Unfair and losing anyway.

What is interesting is how Delsin pauses after Augustine makes her offer, telling him how the military might just go back to killing Conduits without the D.U.P. around. And for a moment, he considers it. Because he knows it's entirely possible, she's not entirely wrong. He's seen the prejudice Conduits get just for being suspected, and that without restraint, the military may just start killing and not deal with the hassle of bringing them in. It's a risk for sure, is the world even ready to embrace Conduits? Or will they just be turned on once more?
But he ultimately knows that whatever good intentioned place she's coming from, she's wrong, and he has to stop her. She's gone too far, lost her way, and has to be brought down. Even if it means risking a return to the "good ol' days," because he believes things will be different this time.

So Augustine got to essentially see what Bertrand wanted. I feel like this story line isnt connected to the other 2 games because according to sucker punch the ending they chose as canon was the good one since most players chose it the first time around. The original plan was to have the bad ending be the canon one where cole becomes the beast and it more lines up with this game of how the military try to eliminate them, and how powers can be given by other conduits(the beast mainly). So it seems like a conjunction between the 2 of both what bertrand wanted and the beast ending from infamous 2

Yeah, Infamous Second Son is one of my favorite games this year. My only gripe was that even with the side missions it felt rather short, but that was about it. I still thought it was an awesome game, and a much better way to introduce people to a PS franchise than Killzone Shadow Fall did

Simple, it’s like the snap, it was a random selection amongst people with the conduit gene. Some people survived while others died. It didn’t kill ALL conduits.

A villain who secretly survived the blast in Empire City who sided with the military and worked in the shadows is such a neat concept but just like everything good in this game they barely did anything with it.

lol I must be horrible at this game because I had a lot of trouble with this fight. There was a point where I would be OHKO'd by her stop attack, and 2HKO'd by the "grenades" over and over.

And You think Eguene? would at least throw a few neon sign's or A smoking car in there so he could switch to neon run up the walls Land On Augustine Switch to smoke use 3 lethal Missiles and 2 non-lethal Then Absorb Augustine get concrete Make 4 walls around her Switch back to smoke use loads more lethal switch to neon Run up the 4 walls while she tries to penetrate them Suddenly see shards on the floor unlock The final upgrade for the photon beam in neon Use it 3 times switch to concrete Make 8 more walls Switch to smoke Shoot more lethals and boom most Hard yet Awesome boss battle yet ( it shows you a lot of hints so you know what to do )

callum oliver delsin had to fight with the boss battles with their own power (eugene boss battle was an exception, also first augustine boss battle)... remember how it happened with hank and fetch? delsin first absorbed their power (or copied, like sharingan) then fought with them with the powers he gained

Augustine may be an easy boss, but he have to admit her 'monster' forms are awsome with great detai epecially the onix one.The only down side to getting her power that I've seen is that it has no karmatic streak attack which I belive should be at least ONE of the creatures.
Would be nice if Concrete has a special move just like smoke Orbital Drop. Delsin could be the giant Onix jumping and drilling the floor
