- When Cole develops incredible powers after surviving a lethal city-wide explosion, he has a life-changing decision to make: protect himself and those closest to him or stand up to the ruthless militia taking over the city.
"Cole" is a fan film of the Playstation video game series "Infamous" and is freely based on the events of the first two games.
Entirely self-produced, the short film was made over the course of 2013 in Bordeaux, France, with the challenge of creating a "mini-blockbuster" with little to no budget, and to pay tribute the the inFamous fanchise.

I'd say Zeke was the most accurate portrayal

Jason Statham WOULD make a great Cole, but only if its Infamous 1, If they made a movie for Infamous 2 it would suck regardless of who's playing him.
MrEffectfilms Infamous 2 would still work, I agree that in the second game wasn't as good as the first but its not like they completely replaced cole, you would see if you played the game *maybe you did* they just had a different voice actor
CheekyScrubinator2000 infamous 2 coles voice actor was so different that I had to remind myself that it was supposed to be the same person, and that just got really distracting.

Didnt know he has a thick british Accent. I just thought he looked kinda similar and he Plays Action roles quite good, thought it would fit.

That guy playing Kessler is PERFECT!!!!! The actor for Cole is good too, the only thing is he looks a little too old, game Cole looks like he's maybe late 20s-early 30s, and the actor playing Zeke was great. The combining of the Infamous 1 and 2 plots was also cool and the effects were sick! I know this was probably just a one time thing but If you guys ever decide to do a full length fan movie out of this I'd totally support it.

tuperhero You guys should start a kickstarter to improve on this or find a way to work with Sony. Maybe not a full length movie, but a series. I feel it would be better that way because you can expand the story. With a full length movie, you might feel forced to shorten things. In order to cater to the masses, focus to much on the action rather character development. Like what Kevin Tancharoen did with Mortal Kombat Legacy. Though I did like the original concept better. Staying to close to the source material made it seem a bit generic. I don't know. Maybe that's something to consider if you guys expand on this.
Huge infamous fan here. The actors look great. The acting I couldn't take seriously at some points, but they got the message of the plot accross. The feel and effects of the movie were really good. Overall I enjoyed it - good job! Now I want to go play Infamous again! Lol
Dude I love this. The guy who is playing Cole looked exactly like him. But the only turn off for me was the French accent. Just could not handle it.

they did it with iorn man why not with infamous? i wanna see electrical gangs of star wars XD. well any way! yep, you need a parcourist, the french accent works fine in my opinion, could make it a little more English some times its hard to understand you. that's all, i feel like cole should be European, and parcour was raised in Europe/ france so personally its good marketing+ start with a miny sires and get people to back you up. the special effects and other juicy suff you should work about at the end. but i do have to say thoughs bolts Mann... i have to say well done. work on it slow!! up your accent, and find a parcore guy to double for you. he dose not even have to be good, could be some guy off the street say wanna make some euros. :) i wanna see more.

+Akuma Tokkou well i think, is he gonna survive or is he gonna be alright would have been a better choice of words or something along those lines, i mean the guy was obviously wasted no point in asking something obvious, it's like asking if there is wood in a forest or salty water in the middle of the freaking ocean, other than that the acting was weak the girl was the weakest actor in this bunch beside this i think it was a nice try and i don't think i wasted that 15 or so minutes watching this.

It's a little off from true chronological order, but I dig this. It seems a blend of both 1 & 2, and I like how it added the moment of choice in morale, guidance from his conscience.

This was amazing! As a film student and a lover of the Infamous series I really appreciate the hell out of this short film. The attention to detail was superb! From set design, costume, characters, story, setting, visual effects, and audio effects, you guys nailed it! I can't imagine how much work was put into this. Very well done.

This film is highly inaccurate and blatantly obvious within the first minute and a half. Cole simply just cannot jump over fences, especially metal ones.

I am a huge infamous fan and this film was pure gold, the special effects were pretty awesome and the acting wasn't too shabby either, for a film this short it covered alot of stuff which I enjoyed. Great work people
It kinda messed with me how both games were kinda put together, but weirdly enough, that's what also made it so unique! I love how you all put this together and made it so cohesive. If I didn't know better, I woulda thought this was like an extended trailer for an actual inFamous movie. Well done.

The effort, effects, and passion put into this is apparent, and it got me craving more.

I liked it but there were a few inaccuracies.
1: Cole fought gangs in Infamous and then the militia in Infamous 2
2: Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Zeke made the rooftop hideout.
3: Cole and Trish had American accents instead of a Mike Myers shrek type voice (still not bad though)
overall I thought it was good.
Thanks for the input. As specified in the description, the goal was never to make a 100% faithful adaptation. I love inFamous and know it off by heart, but the idea was to bring the best parts to screen in just a few minutes of film. As for the accents, we did our best :)

Different from the games at parts but was still really great! Love that action scene in the middle! Great work guys I know you've been working on this a long time and it payed off. Bravo!

Hey Smelkshake thanks ! We actually meant to mix elements from both games. We wanted to write a short, cohesive story that would be a tribute to everything we love about the first two games. It is "freely inspired" :)

This is awesome. I would absolutely watch this if it was a full movie. It incorporates a lot of what I loved about inFAMOUS. If these guys were to make this into a full movie, I'd absolutely watch it. Kudos to everyone involved in this.

I bet it would be awesome. And if you do, if it were possible, could you maybe even put some Reapers and Dustmen in it? That would be AWESOME! That was really great. Aside from a few parts with stiff acting it was altogether a great short film. It left me wondering what you could do with a budget the size of some of the crappier movies that get put on the big screen.

Réalisation superbe, je salut le travail de l'équipe avec aussi peu de moyens, les plans sont beaux, ricain à souhait si j'ose dire^^ l'étalonnage est vraiment nikel...l'image au top, vraiment. Bien qu'une captation en HDR sur le plan du saut aurait éviter le contre jour. Les incurstations sont bluffantes, il faut voir les BTS pour s'en rendre compte. Il manque un zéro aux vues et aux nombres d'abonnés ^^ Concernant le jeu des acteurs, il y a un déséquilibre avec le haut niveau de réalisation, c'est fréquent dans les court métrage "home made" . De fait, celà ne me choque pas. Un réalisateur dispose de beaucoup d'outils pour rendre un film esthétique et chiadé à moindre coût. La preuve ici. Mais il n'existe pas de logiciel pour l'acting. Encore bravo !

More! This is a well written and acted story with the possible exception of the girl that played Trish. She needs some serious acting lessons. The special effects were spot on, very real looking. I want to see more of this!

Watched this for the first time yesterday and watching again now. This is amazing! Zeke is spot on! I really like the story - I like how you've blended elements of the 2 games together :) I really hope you can make another one!

It's a great game, but I mean it's super short, with barely any choices, side missions, or post game content. And concrete was barely developed, they could have at least gave it a super. The first two had much more longevity.

Hey. Not really continuity errors. We wrote a story that is freely inspired by the two first games, where we mixed different ideas from both. We weren't try to stick to the exact story of the games.

tuperhero It takes so much from the game out of context that you would have to have already invested in the games story line. I don't think its bad I just think that if you are trying to freely be inspired by the games then don't re-use story elements from the games. I think you have a lot of potential with this and I hope you work to make it better. I'm not trying to insult you I'm just trying to provide some constructive criticism. Alot of people commenting on this film are not doing that so I decided I would.
