- It's been 10 years to the day since the inFAMOUS series kicked off, and though it hasn't seen any new games in five years, it's still cherished by fans of all ages; whether new or old. Though most fans haven't heard of the comics that took place between inFAMOUS 1 and inFAMOUS 2. Seems like a good day to remedy that.
Note: The comics are very difficult to find on the internet for purchase as physical copies; some for upwards of $50 for a single issue. I managed to find a physical copy of all six issues in one book for $15 on Amazon. They are out there if you're willing to pay the cash.

All this backstory. A heroic moment, a redemption arc and some good development. All leading up to one of the best sequels in a franchise. It would really suck if this character was horribly killed off and replaced by a whiny man child in an attempt to gain new fans with a new console instead of using the ending they should have. But that would never happen.

So Moya knew Kessler and Cole were the same the whole time, and she died before inFAMOUS 2? The whole time i thought she was just sitting on her thumb and got vaporized along with Empire City. Thanks for sharing, it was awesome.
I remember playing the demo in a retail shop back in 2009. This game was the only reason i wanted a ps3 so bad back then.
I remember getting this game when Playstation network was down for a long time. They gave out free games, I chose Little Big Planet and Infamous, game was just well made, like eating a well baked chocolate chip cookie out of the oven. Made you feel powerful but not invincible while it was just interesting as hell.
I played it as a 9 year old at a store and loved it. My parents wouldn't get it for me until the crash happened and we got lbp and infamous

Pizza-Man It should’ve been. Hell, I even would’ve accepted this entire 6 issue series as “inFAMOUS 2” and then have inFAMOUS 3 be the game inFAMOUS 2 actually was.

We're all just old.
The comics is quite a marvel to look at artistically. To me, it feels right that the art style in both the games and the comics are somewhat similar so they have some closer connection in the continuity. It kinda makes sense to follow that style in the comics.
I kinda wish there was a comic series based on Second Son to expand upon the characters more. Heck maybe learning about Reggie and Delsin's backstory, what happened to their parents, Delsin's path of being a delinquent, his relationship with his Akomish tribe, etc.
Considering all the truths these comics revealed, I would love to see a comic series of Second Son. I might stop complaining about it if they did it right.
But that door closed four years ago.

Its always amazes me whenever we learn something new about our favorite games several years after their release. It makes those replays that much sweeter.
I remember playing the demo of inFamous and inFamous 2 everyday around 2010/2011 and I was so happy when I got the collection for Ps3. Those games are still amazing and I hope we get another one soon. May 26 is a national holiday for me.

I recently only just rebought a PS3 for soul purpose to play this game again, this shit was my childhood, despite it scaring the shit outa my younger self, and yet I never knew any of these comics existed so I thank you for opening my eyes to the excitence of them
My favorite things about infamous are Cole Kessler the game play and story awesome game
Infamous 1/2,Uncharted franchise,Last of us are the only games I can complete time after time and never get bored
Infamous 1/2, saint row 2 and the Arkham games are always ones I will come back to along with gta 4 they all just take me back to a time when things were simple and I was little
These comics being adapted into a game could be a great way to bring Cole and his story back without spitting on his death in Infamous 2
Either that or I’d love to see a game based on what happened to the Cole that failed and became Kessler.

I've been a fan of this series since 2011.
I didn't have the cash to go out and get a PS3 until 2010, and yeah I downloaded the first game, but I couldn't get very far. I played a demo of InFAMOUS 2 at GameStop and went "I must have this." Bought it, played them both, loved them.
I didn't even know there were comics until 2015, and I went out and bought 'em digitally. (Yeah I knew about Post Blast, but that I just didn't care about much.)
I've been wanting to do another playthrough of the games again, but sadly both my PS3 controllers bit the dust, half the buttons on both are refusing to work, or are being jank and going off at random. I looked it up, something to do with the Siaxxis in the controllers are busted, had to buy a new one.

I grew up on these games whenever I decided to play on my PS3 it would be my first option to play and I would always find it incredibly awesome
Damn...Literally speechless. I am in ineffable awe and delightful shock that I have come across Zivalene. Someone whom I feel shares the same if not more passion for this series as I do. I watched every second of this video and was constantly rewinding to make sure I grasped what was said tenfold. @@Zivalene Honestly, like to find something or someone who revels in a particular subject or hobby as much as oneself does it's beyond crazy, so thank you for that time and effort you've put in to express your interest, I was dying and crying of laughter of the "Everything wrong with..." Cinema Sins videos on the inFamous titles, gave me a different outlook and perspective on them, obviously if we live or cherish something, we fail to see any imperfection and we therefore become bias... So it's good to be snapped out of it, not everything is perfect and that's ok. Thus, that said, thanks again Zivalene, I'm going back to watch your past videos and check out the descriptions for anything interesting

A few days ago I had my final projects/presentations. I've been watching your Infamous videos and been dying to play the first two games again bc I love them so much. Probably my favorite games ever. When I was finally free, I started InFamous 1 and just finished it today. I had no idea today was the 10 year anniversary!!

Edit: It is the day after and I just finished the second game. Good karma, but choosing the evil ending, the canon way. I had no idea I wasn´t able to pick the evil ending with Hero karma, but I was finally able to by following the steps of your video! I spent about an hour and a half of extra time before the ending getting bad karma and then good karma again,kind of anticlimatic, but worth it. Betraying humanity as Good Cole was awesome. Made the whole experience of replaying my favorite game (just playing all day) since so long even better. So Thanks!

It’s kind of funny how infamous’s anniversary is when my aunt got married
Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale convinced me to gradually play games associated with each fighter. I ended up getting the InFAMOUS collection ages ago. After all, its a great value. If I'm not mistaken, I read the interquel comics before playing two. So there's that. I just wish Second Son hadn't crapped all over Cole's sacrifice by having the conduit gene resurface. Sucker Punch relying on trophy data was also very unwise in my opinion. We could have had InFAMOUS 3. Oh well. I'll always consider the "evil" ending to 2 canon. :)

I’d read the comic’s previously. But coming back to them and re learning the things I forgot really finished the story of infamous for me, honestly, as much as I’d like a new game for the series. I think a prequel would be better, since it’s quite obvious Kessler had different abilities unlike Coles. Using those would be quite interesting in terms of gameplay. Regardless of all that, those childhood memories of my brother waking me up to watch him play infamous on the evil play through, then let me do the good one will never stop being amazing.

Infamous was actually the 1st superhero video game i've ever played.
Very simple and entertaining video. I enjoyed every single second of it.

InFAMOUS 2 cole switches to evil cause he has no choice
Kessler nearly screwed up his own plan by creating David, since David almost killed Cole. Having *said* that, Kessler probably would have regarded David as yet another test for Cole. Another way of toughening Cole up before facing the Beast.

Okay to reply to my last comment as well, I wish I was able to read the comics back then but due to me not having any way on doing so I couldnt. But I did search up what it was about. I knew there was something different about Cole in inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 (not as in the change of voice) but as in the actual character himself. So I did know abit of details but not that much. You basically explained everything I wanted to know and I thank you for that.

Interesting where he dreams of Kessler and he mourns over Trish and his daughters. Good man. Also not long before he meets kuo? I thought Cole said a month later.
The comics periodically keep track of the days since the Ray Sphere gave Cole his powers. The last day is #28. It would be reasonable to suggest that Kuo meets with him a day or two later, meaning Cole meant he met her a month after getting his powers.
So canonically, Cole mcgracth is good. They should make delson row evil. It would make sense cuz he's a powerful conduit.
You know, seeing Sasha come back and be important to the story was a good thing, i'm just wondering, after she disappears once again, where does she end up? Did she stay in Empire city, and ended up dying with the city, or did she stay alive until the end of infamous 2? If that's the case, it would have been interesting to see her again in infamous 3. Damnit, another reason to dislike what we got... Why is it easy to find?

I honestly think this would've made a much better story if it was Infamous 2 instead. Infamous 2's a great game, but all the plot threads it left unresolved was a huge part of why it was so disappointing.

wait, so if the first game relied on the evil ending, then if cole used the ray sphere again but ultimately got destroyed, the does that mean cole's physical appearance should've changed as well since he activated it?
You know i think the moment that Kessler implanted his visions into Cole's mind before his death, I think what Kessler was actually doing was implanting his very essence into Cole hence the reason that Kessler was able to visit Cole in a dream, because Kessler found that his consciousness lingered on inside Cole, its like what Obi-Wan told Vader, if you strike me down now, I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine
Or....
....Cole is still struggling with the information about Kessler and he had a nightmare. Nightmares tend to reflect the subconscious fears we have during the day.
@@Zivalene True Kessler may have not literally been conscious inside Cole, but it is undeniable that Kessler's visions are what triggered the nightmare and also John/The Beast was conscious without having a physical body, with all the decades that Kessler had with his powers, there's no way of knowing for sure how far his abilities extended
So sasha is most likely dead along with empire city? That blows
Rules of fiction: If a main character doesn't die on screen, it (probably) didn't happen. lol
Sucker Punch likely chose to keep Sasha's fate obscure in case they want to use her again.

Now now, inFAMOUS Second Son might be the child no one wanted but its not that bad. Its not the best in the series but if you know what a bad game is them you know inFAMOUS Second Son is actually a decent game. Not saying its better then any of the other games. I for one favours the first two games and FoB. 😁 But I subbed anyway, I enjoyed the video in general so keep up the good work.

Oh thank god, there's a comic for the content I actually wanted from game 2. I was so IRRITATED that infamous 2 didn't cover Moya, Alden, Sasha, or literally ANY of the various cliffhangers from the first game.
The first game is awesome. I didn't end up liking the second game because they made Cole 20 years younger all the sudden and he was acting like a middle schooler, laughing at dumb sh*t like "penal code"
They took the meaningful, well developed friendship between Zeke and Cole and they turned it into an unfunny version of Beavis and Butt-Head.

Great video. I've been replaying the games and wanted to know what happened to Moya and Sasha. Turns out Moya is a bigger bitch anyone realized. And I guess there's still a chance we'll see Sasha again. I'm hoping Cole's story will continue in inFamous 4, with that lightning strike at the end of inFamous 2 bringing him back to life.

I really want to play through these games again but I have no way of playing them, I live in Australia so I can’t access ps now so I can’t play old ps3 games without physically buying them. I got so used to the ps4 that trying to go back to a ps3 controller also sucks If anyone knows of any way I could get infamous on pc or ps3 without ps now it would be greatly appreciated if you replied here
