I did read that the original premise for second son was you'd play as Cole's son in it. But people liked Cole so much they were worried people would hate the game solely ad you'd no longer play him. AKA metal gear solid 2

Heyo Larry, I see you're always around RUclips videos.. Would you mind telling me where's the source or at least the concept of where the 3rd game was going to feature an offspring of Cole? It seemed kind of obvious by 2's ending, whether good or evil, we would have had a new protagonist in the next game, but how would a son or daughter work considering: (spoilers-- the girlfriend dies either way in the first game).
I was so irritated that these characters got their end in a comic book. I know that Sucker Punch said they aren't working on Infamous, but if we get a remaster they should make an epilogue out of the comic's plot. Alden and Moya deserved to get killed in game. Also, Sasha not being confirmed dead is interesting. They could have brought her back in an Infamous 3 that took place on the evil timeline. Her tar powers of hallucination were interesting.
Imagine if we got a new game and Sasha was the main character for it. Sounds weird, but playing as someone with her strange but fascinating powers could be really fun if Sucker Punch got creative with it
I think sasha just died when the beast appeared. I don't know how she would be able to leave EC after the comics, and I see no way she would have survived the beast. So she probably ded.

People think the comic that takes place before honour among thieves should’ve been the opening for that game and I definitely agree with them too.

Yes, Jason Cottle was replaced by Eric Ladin in the second game, who sounds pretty much identical, except I found he had a significantly better emotional range than Jason Cottle did doing the same voice. Whatever trailer you referring to, if I had to guess, they probably had a temporary stand in while they were casting for the game proper. I do know that they redesigned Cole to have hair, as seen in early promotional material. And I do know in that case, fan backlash led them to make him bald like in the first game. In that case I'm a little bit less sympathetic to the fans for the backlash, because I always just assumed Cole's hair burnt off in the initial explosion. I always assumed it would grow back eventually. Edit: I just looked up the E3 2010 reveal trailer, and I think I know what you're talking about. The voice sounds a higher pitched, and more awkward. But I have a suspicion that was just Eric Ladin half-assing it for the trailer.
If they do remaster the first game, I think it would be enough if they put digital copies of the comics in some sort of extras menu, along with the usual concept art and stuff (maybe as unlockable bonus content?). A DLC expansion or side game would be nice, but I feel that since the comics already exist it wouldn't really be necessary. Also, "Sins of the Future" would be a rad subtitle for the hypothetical expansion/side game ^^
Genuinely would of loved if the story continued more along this path then where it ended up going. I do enjoy 2 and second son is alright, but infamous one is my favorite in the series, and probably my favorite game of all time.

thanks for the comic overview. I think infamous translates well to comics because its basically a comic turned video game. The comic panels were enough to give it that push. Havnt played second son yet(hope it hits PC one day) but i heard they basically got rid of the comic book aspect which sounds lame as hell to me.
This game really did left a whole lot of plot holes,and never bothered showing that what happened to these characters. At least the comic book finally answered those questions. This story alone could’ve been a DLC game rather than the comic itself.

What I like the most about role-playing games is that even when you know the story and the choices, when you think you have the story all figured out... You experience the game personally, in its full glory, and that's when your convictions are fully tested, making you realize that no, you don't have the story figured out. I am currently playing "Infamous 1" for the first time, I'm at hero karma (and let me tell you it wasn't easy getting there, since I'm constantly doing both evil and good karma choices, depending on which one is the most in lign with my beliefs), I'm at the mission in which I have to rescue Zeke from the Trash-Men...and my Cole is starting to consider the best way to inflict fear on his enemies, since it's clear the psycho posters and draining my enemies's lives isn't aren't working (which is weird, considering I did two evil karma missions in which I murdered cops without causing collateral damage and a revolted crowd that may or may not have been influenced by the Reapers into fighting me, reviving four in order to tell the story). My Cole was already afraid that Sasha's powers were being used to infiltrate members of both gangs among the civilians, but it's not like he could simply attack the population until someone revealed themselves a bad guy, especially since the recordings revealed that depending on his morality, his mutation would either twist or empower him. Well, Zeke's kidnapping was a warning. No more holding back. The worst part about all of this ? I don't feel like a dick doing this (not yet anyway). My goal was to get powers from both sides of the karmic spectrum after all. And there's plenty of enemies around for me to feast and suspicious people to oppress. I already got lots of good karma powers. Time to unlock some evil goodies as well.

My main gripe with the first Infamous that they fixed going forward is vertical movement was VERY slow
