YES OMG!! I've read the series probably 25 times at least since first grade. Memories of being 10 during the 7th book's midnight release are still some of my best. Just iconic. Also your hair looks phenomenal! 💜

Oh my gosh I remember when I first read the Harry Potter series I was already in my junior year of college. I read it for a change in scenery from my list of serious (and difficult lmao) readings for uni. It was so exciting to read too, and so easily pulled me into its world it became a comfort read/movie during a very stressful time in my life lol

The books and the movies are wonderful! I loved the books even more than the movies because there is so much that is left out of the movies. You must read them all and watch the movies whether you choose to make videos or not, although I would enjoy the videos, too!

I am late to the HP series since I did not give myself the opportunity to read the books when I was a kid; I am getting into the series for the first time, and AH!!! I love it!!! When I entered my teens, I did not read for fun or watch movies or television because most of that kind of media just did not click with me, so I had no idea where to start. It took years for me to allow my inner child to come out, yes, because there was judgment at that time of my life for what others who were grasping for 18+ material because they were nearly old enough, and anything else was silly to them, and I had to balance my feelings between what I was learning to like and feeling shunned for it and feeling at odds with what I felt like I was supposed to enjoy. Harry Potter was something that everyone I knew grew up with, and though I heard about it, I had no clue if it was for me or not, so feeling the door closed for me after leaving the target demographic, I walked away. Then, I moved from my childhood home two weeks before COVID hit, and during the years since, I evaluated who I wanted to be. That person was a reader, so I jumped into the ocean of literature, and though it has been hard to navigate sometimes, I found books that I would never have been myself now without. One of those books is Narnia, which for me is a sanctuary, and one of the quotes that encouraged me the most was its dedication, "One day you will be old enough for fairytales again." I may not be that old as a new adult, but my soul is, and my heart is young, and I found myself again. I am waiting for the next book in series #4, and I am scared because of spoilers of bad things happening, but I love the series too much to lose hope! I love that I am not the only one who is starting to read the series this year for the first time! -Proud Hufflepuff Happy reading, everyone!
