I'm not sure about the other developing countries. but in my country, the Philippines. you can literally see Harry Potter in some local indie book stores. ESPECIALLY in our local "National Book Store" if you see this store in a Filipino mall. you'll eventually know it has Harry Potter books sitting on the book shelf or display of this store. since Harry Potter is still the most selling children's fictional book in the country.
I love how Uzair is literally gasping for air for half the episode, he really knows his stuff and it's nice to watch someone with such happiness for Harry Potter in that regard! 🙂

As a Harry Potter fan, the speed these people expected the others to respond was so immediate, I would have never been able to answer questions that quickly, so they would have kicked me out.

He bought another fandoms merch...why would she assume that he couldn't afford it? she specifically mentions "he was wearing COMICS merch. The stuff is very similar in price. Plus he had a wand (more expensive than a shirt or sweater).
Can't defend forgetting Cho's name though, other than the fact that it was a high stress situation where you are being timed and have to think up a scene on the spot.
@@chocodesu The wand is a more expensive piece of HP merch and as a fan of multiple fandoms I would probably do the same kind of math. You buy the wand and then buy sweatshirts and t-shirts from other fandoms especially since I don't really like a lot of the Harry Potter clothes.

Two of my favorite scenes of the movie is when Harry and Hermione have a dance by themselves in the camping tent that scene is just so magical to me. And also when Hermione walks down the stairs to enter the school hall dance, she looked beautiful and I love how he looks at her❤

Bro this is so out of context but this video 3 years ago is what got me into reading fan fiction. I knew what it was but didn’t really notice it, and then this video popped up and the intrigue for Isolation got to me.

3:19 I am not a Potterhead by any means just a fan, however, I read the books and watched the movies plus dived into the fandom a bit and that being said, the Ravenclaw true mascot is an Eagle shocked me like wtf!! I consider myself a Ravenclaw and even did those what house are you tests, researched the house what they stood for and stuff, but never ever heard that before 0_0 Honestly I'm sad to learn that since I think Ravens are really damn cool (well all corvids are but ravens are my fave) and know quite a bit about them, I seriously thought it was always an raven though I only read the books once each the year they came out so maybe I don't remember that detail meanwhile it's clearly a raven in the movies. Kinda cool that having 2 mascots almost and having a raven as Patronus and/or owl replacement isn't as cliche now.

As a lifelong nerd, I related most to Uzair and Brian. It was something I had access to my whole life yet it was also a magical escape and something bigger to be a part of. I’m a potter head. I was only in about 1st grade when I was introduced to Harry Potter. I have watched all the movies multiple times each and only read the first book so far. I want to read more of the books, I just haven’t yet. But I’ve been a huge fan since I was in about 1st grade so 6 years later, I’m enjoying the fandom. 😅

In general, I like Dumbledore. I think he is a very interesting character. He aspired greatness but in turn made mistakes. He may come out as a master manipulator but I think he just felt too responsible for what Tom became and his feelings towards Gellert and Ariana's death. He wasn't perfect but he wasn't that bad either.

i dont even own physical copies of the books myself but im a huge fan of the series and i watch the movies all the time
i can also listen to the audiobooks for days at a time wothout rest but you dont need merchandise amd breathe a franchise to be a fan you can read or watch the series once and consider yourself a fan
The series is fun. Even if you've only seen the movies and you like them then you're a harry potter fan. The other stuff is fun too, but I get not everyone has the time to invest 120 hours into the latest game or ability to concentrate on the books and remember the story enough to continue on to the next book.

Or I love the lord of the rings but I am NOT a fan. Being a fan and loving something are VERY DIFFRENT. The only similarity is that they both love. Fan is much more than love.

Definitely agree! One of my favorite Harry Potter memories growing up was discussing the books with my neighbor, an elderly man who was basically like a grandfather to me. I started reading them when they came out in the US, so I was like 5 or 6. Nobody my age was reading them yet, and he was the only one I had to talk to about Harry Potter stuff.

The book scene that wasnt a movie scene would have been tough for me. I would have said when the other two schools came to Hogwarts in Goblet of fire. It explained how they actually got there, but in the movies they burst into the Grand Hall.
Favorite scene all around is the moment dumbledore and harry get the Horcrux in that cave cus he was so strong after being so close to death it was amazing to see

Cho got mentioned a lot in 5 of the 7 books, as well as 4? of the 8 movies (I am not sure about POA and HBP movie) she was a top 20 character in both 4 and 5 book/movie. In three Harry first got a crush on her when he played against her in quidditch, in four he asked her out for the yule ball, in five they got together, in six they ignored each other as she was the only one who didnt stare at Harry in the train. In seven she fought in the battle of hogwarts and volounteered to show Harry the Ravenclaw tower.
On the the other side all 6 wherent potterheads as they all failed in basic trivia. The person who wasn‘t a fan was the one knowing the most about the fandom. 😂

As I was an adult when all the books and movies came out, it was a little hard for me to get into Harry Potter, but then I started to look at it from an adults perspective, the Weasley Parents, Professor Mc Gonagall, Hagrid and Professor Lupin and then I started to like it.
