That double tour bracelet is STUNNING!
The Hermes complete watch also has Hermes on the of the back of the watch part and you also get that second band- in reference to the difference of buying separately vs the whole Hermes.

I have Apple Watch SE in space grey since April that I bought it at Target. It was an upgrade from using series 2 Apple Watch for almost 2 years. I even have series 1,also. I got the SE for this one app for my car. I do liked the space grey color and it almost looks black in color. I still can used the Watch bands that I have for it.
Love your channel. You did an amazingly professional job on this review. I realize some may not like the luxury price and to them it may not be worth it just for branding but to others it’s really nice and a fun experience. I wear a Rolex regularly but would mind adding this as a casual nice watch. Thanks for giving such an interesting and detailed review.

My wife has the series 2 and series 5. No trade in market. Even Apple won’t accept Hermes trade ins. Bought my Rolex GMT in 1988 for $ 1200. Appraised 5 years ago for $ 10,000. Current market value $ 15,000.
I told my wife next time she splurges, get another Louis Vuitton. They have strong resale values. Forget Apple Hermes watches.
I was just gonna buy the basic stainless series 8 after getting my ultra, but im gonna get the Hermès one with the silver steel and the gold or black single tour or the one in this video and use the orange horse with the black background

I just got mine in the mail today. I bought it for my wife’s birthday January 5. They were only in stock at Apple for a few days now it’s back to 3 months to ship.
I wanted to get that one but I saw that it was too tiny so I decided to get the deployment buckle
I have been wanting to get this config of the watch with the new band design, but I was worried too about all the potential scratches with the chain coming into contact with the side of the watch. I wish there was a way to know if this would come a problem down the line!
No scratches on my end after a year of using the band.

You forgot to mention the Hermes Apple Watch is also available in the Space Black color which is the original stainless steel color you could get on the series 0 to 3
Space black is NOT the original stainless steel color. Silver is!

I pre ordered my Hermes watch from the Hermes site, but haven’t gotten it yet. Pending supply is the message I get on the status. Wondering if all Hermes stores carry the watch. That watch band looks great on you! This is the first time I’ve seen that watch band in anyone.
I gave up and ordered it from Apple which took about a week to be delivered. My SA told me you’re better off waiting until after the holidays to get it directly from Hermès because they only get so many, otherwise just get it from Apple.

@@stephkim00 I placed the pre order on 9/6. I’m from Hawaii. Looks like it’s on its way. I was going to cancel my order and order from Apple, but their site said it’ll ship out in late Oct. Glad I didn’t cancel my order with Hermes.
@@starburst391 Ahh ok. Maybe there’s an even bigger delay bc you’re in Hawaii? But Hermes definitely seems to be slower. At least you get the added touch/experience by ordering from Hermes as opposed to apple. I ordered mine to pick up from Hermes. Hopefully we’ll both get our watches soon.

Love your content. I will never buy another one, respectively I love apple products. Just upgraded to 14 pro max in gold. The watch caused me to be plugged in 24/7. So I gave my Apple Watch Nike series 6 to my cousin. I went back to wear traditional watches. Apple watches to me a simply a disposable technology, I will definitely used my iPhone more and have them with me longer than a yearly upgrade.

Scratching shouldn’t be an issue since it’s stainless steel against stainless steel. If it was stainless steel against a softer material like aluminum then it might be an issue. Enjoy the watch!
Apple: give us the Hermes watch faces. You did it with the Nike faces, do it for the Hermes faces. It’s literally the only think I like about them.

Now with the Ultra, Hermes is so overpriced. The S8 stainless steel models are over $700 and close to the price tag of the Ultra. I'm sure apple wants most people to buy the Ultra even if they do take part in those extreme events/activities. I'm even thinking about getting the Ultra.

In 2024 garmin epix 51 mm is the king, no other watch come close , watch ultra and hermes look like a $10 square gadget from the family dollar store , or like a mini ipod on the wrist 🤭

I bought this band but I had to return it. I loved the way it looked but it was just too small for me. I could put it on but it was very tight.
Have you heard whether they will ever release a 45mm version? I’ve seen that the leather gourmette in brown does actually come in 45mm so I’m hoping that this one will eventually be available in 45mm.
Hermes is overpriced AF and the quality doesn’t justify the price.
Both Nomad and Ashland Leather offer Applewatch bands made from Horween Shell Cordovan that are ridiculously higher quality for less than $150

The Hermes store said that they do have the 45mm gourmette double tour, but not in stock currently. So, I don't know. But, the SA did mention it's on display, it can only be sold as a complete watch (not band alone), and that in store at Hermes is the only way to get it.
