Yes! What can we say? A quality clarifier that will fit most canister filters, is effective and comes with non-Jubilee Jubilee clips. Doesn't get better in the clarifierisation field. Great review mate.

I'm wondering if we turned the FX 6 input and or output at a 1/4 or 1/2 turn flow rate if the clarifier will turn into a sterilizer. I assume it turning the input/output down will give the fluval a slower flow rate which will give the water more dwell time around the bulb. Maybe if you slowed the flow down 1 or 2 days a week it can be used as a sanitizer. The remaining days use it as a clarifier.....I hope this makes sense. I'm curious of what you think? I'm running an fx6 on a 65 gallon mixed reef tank. Regardless, I'm very happy fluval came out with this!!! Thanks for all the great content, keep up the good work!
Thanks for the review! Quick question - would an FX4 or FX6 fit in the Fluval shaker 345 cupboard you briefly showed in the video? Or only an FX2 maybe? And what auto feeder did you have on the tank?
You forgot to mention that there is absolutely no indication as to whether or not the unit is powered... Or if the bulb is working. Has its good points and bad points

Great review mate.
Wow, thank you!
I would go for sterilizer instead of clarifier. I use Vecton 25W & Medic Helix Max 36W. Works great, no fish getting sick, next to no algae.

You can use it any filters and convert fx series to regular hose

the timer is to extend the life of the bulb significantly if your running it preventatively
Have you been using it since you uploaded this video and has it performed well
Just ordered one.

Why get rid of the timer?
The only thing that holds me back is, I want a UV sterilizer too and not a clarifier.
So are you saying it can be used on the none fx fluval canister filter if so that is also amazing
Yes
Wow. Lovely jubilee. Cheers buddy.
Is this available? I'm only finding the first version?
It's being distributed in the UK any day
Does this remove brown algae diatoms?
No. UV doesn't impact diatoms. Diatoms usually go away on their own once excess silica is no longer available.

The end will glow blue when working that's why it's clear
@@EverydayAquarist that's just a cover there's no light
Is it compatible with fluval 307? Please reply
Yes with the adapters I showed you from the box
@@EverydayAquarist Thanks for the reply 😊
where do you get it from..? I Have tried 5 shop in the UK not one of them even heard of it.
£110 online. Various aquatic suppliers. Dunno about the replacement bulbs though. Even Fluval's own website doesn't list them.
It will be a part number order maybe from a shop but I imagine they will be available soon when the unit has been out longer
They are on Amazon
