Detention without arrest is a Colonial conceit. In the UK, there are only three times where it applies: to prevent an imminent breach of the peace; for the duration of a stop-and-search; or while your home is being searched. Please don't assist cops in their delusions that they can remove your liberty without an arrest.

My concern is the police's behavior when NOT being filmed, with three police "witnesses" it's a slam dunk on false charges.
Personally police in court are clearly biased toward a conviction and as such should be treated as biased, instead of the way they have, a policeman's word being as a given. They can and do lie in court

So it is all for show and intimidation. So the powers above these plods sent them out knowing that they wouldn't get anywhere, but the powers above hoped that the recording of the intimidation would go on RUclips and put others off. How stupid are they - it's just provides more evidence of the disconnect between police and the public and drives more to fight back. If they had any intelligence in their brain cell they'd work out that the best thing is to force auditors to have boring unwatchable content by not questioning them, by not creating a scene, and by not abusing the law and the public's rights.

Thankyou for fighting the fight on our behalf. The way things are going in this country this will be a standard responsefrom authority figures to anyone with a camera that they don't like the look of, not just at what they consider "Sensitive sites"
You will end up with a prevention order and tag on your leg.
A member of the public is over 200x more likely to die after encountering a police officer than the officer is to die after encountering a member of the public. Obviously the vast majority of encounters with police don't end this way but when they do, they are massively more dangerous to us than we are to them. Yet they are paranoid about the public but don't see why we should be wary of them. In fact statistically you are more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist. Go figure.🤔
