It's the same in the ambulance service, where I work (front line): we have station managers - mostly female, mumsnet types who aren't medically trained, have no operational experience, but are getting these whopping Band 7 salaries for basically sitting around all day participating on Teams meetings and doing the odd back-to-work form.
Those 3 officers at the end were outstanding. So refreshing to see them use their own initiatives, and be good sports for the thumbnail at the end. The Superintendent and inspector- an absolute disgrace! Great audit! Your channel is refreshing to say the least

Big respect to those PCs at the end, they were genuinely good officers. Mitcham station was my local station, I can remember spending 10 hours in there with my mum and brother as a 7 year old 45 years ago, waiting for social services to open to take us to a refuge. Always wanted to join the police as a kid. Well done to those officers. The Inspector and Superintendent need to be demoted at the very least. Their sense of self-importance is astonishing.

The reason the Chief Super and the Inspector escalated the situation is because they probably haven't worked on the street's as a normal PC.They are probably straight out of university with a degree in policing. They should wake up and smell the coffee
Massive congratulations to the three constables for not only upholding their oaths but also using their own initiative and investigating the reason as to your visit for themselves. The black constable without the hat, I think was extremely polite, and also genuinely interested in what it was you were doing. I think he knew from the outset that you knew exactly what you were able to do from a legal standpoint. The other black constable pretty much kept it of it after his initial engagement with you. You could also see that he knew you knew your stuff when it came to legalities. The white constable was a little more, now I don't want to say pushy but he was a little more... assertive. His line of communication seemed to be more focused and he proposed more directives. On the whole though, he and his two colleagues were very professional and the way they all interacted with you was pretty much perfect.
They would all beat the crap out of you if in a different situation. I've never come across a totally lawful cop. They were pretty pleasant but would turn on you in a heartbeat if the others were.

The chief superintendent and the inspector called the PC's out to detain the auditor because, they knew they were wrong and if the sh.. hits the fan or you prosecute. They can throw the PC"s under the bus. They can deny any involvement.
Except it's on camera, the PC's were under order to do a 43. The onus is on the higher ranks to justify the unlawful search, and the fact it's on camera, makes the higher ranks look not only stupid, but reckless too.

This audit is very important. Some of these situations should be used in police training to allow police personnel to become equipped with skills to determine threat levels of civilian activity. Not only to be used in training of new officers but also in relevant training for senior officers in an ever changing world of surveillance and technology. As the police use cameras to protect their actions and interventions so do the public. It seems that senior police personnel believe surveillance and recording of data is not afforded to all. Well done for remaining professional throughout this interaction.

Every time it s about their personal number plates, in other words they couldn't give a fuck about the public that they are paid to serve they only care about themselves. Also its always " fine" when told they could be sued because it doesn't cost them a penny.
I'd love it if you checked up on those last 3 officers to see if they're still in the force. I fear that the nasty-looking superintendent may have vindictively pursued them. I'd not be surprised if they'd left or been demoted, because this is why you don't find good, positive coppers at the level of superintendent - all the good coppers get drummed out before they reach that level.

The most inspiring thing from this video, apart from the fact the young pc,s showed excellent understanding of the situation ...and took control, was that they were so proud and happy that they, collectively , did there uniform proud...well done lads..
With a camera you get to see the good and bad officers but that doesn't tell the whole story. The question is, would the nice officers still be nice if there wasn't a camera pointing at them.?
I am so so pleased that those uniformed officers had the balls to do the right thing and did not cave to their 'superiors' demands. Had they caved they would be subject to a lawsuit and those bosses would have washed their hands completely by saying that they told them it was up to them! I’ve watched more audits than I care to count and have seen all of the abuses suffered by AB, Yardley, PTTP, NNY, Mat12128 et al, and whilst this entailed less violence, I think the behaviour of that CSu and Inspector was amongst the very worst I have seen. @PTTP - your last couple of uploads (this and Bethnal Green) have been stellar.

The pressure from the higher ranking police constables would be there though. I would say the only reason a search wasn't done was because of PTTP's clear explanation (and knowledge) of the situation.

The reason the Chief Super and the Inspector escalated the situation is because they probably haven't worked on the street's as a normal PC.They are probably straight out of university with a degree in policing. They should wake up and smell the coffee
Massive congratulations to the three constables for not only upholding their oaths but also using their own initiative and investigating the reason as to your visit for themselves.
The black constable without the hat, I think was extremely polite, and also genuinely interested in what it was you were doing. I think he knew from the outset that you knew exactly what you were able to do from a legal standpoint.
The other black constable pretty much kept it of it after his initial engagement with you. You could also see that he knew you knew your stuff when it came to legalities.
The white constable was a little more, now I don't want to say pushy but he was a little more... assertive. His line of communication seemed to be more focused and he proposed more directives. On the whole though, he and his two colleagues were very professional and the way they all interacted with you was pretty much perfect.

They would all beat the crap out of you if in a different situation. I've never come across a totally lawful cop. They were pretty pleasant but would turn on you in a heartbeat if the others were.

The chief superintendent and the inspector called the PC's out to detain the auditor because, they knew they were wrong and if the sh.. hits the fan or you prosecute. They can throw the PC"s under the bus. They can deny any involvement.
Except it's on camera, the PC's were under order to do a 43. The onus is on the higher ranks to justify the unlawful search, and the fact it's on camera, makes the higher ranks look not only stupid, but reckless too.

This audit is very important. Some of these situations should be used in police training to allow police personnel to become equipped with skills to determine threat levels of civilian activity. Not only to be used in training of new officers but also in relevant training for senior officers in an ever changing world of surveillance and technology. As the police use cameras to protect their actions and interventions so do the public. It seems that senior police personnel believe surveillance and recording of data is not afforded to all. Well done for remaining professional throughout this interaction.

Until I started watching these audits I had no idea the police would so blatantly lie and try and trick you by carefully wording their questions to get you to give up information you dont need to give. I'd love it if you checked up on those last 3 officers to see if they're still in the force. I fear that the nasty-looking superintendent may have vindictively pursued them. I'd not be surprised if they'd left or been demoted, because this is why you don't find good, positive coppers at the level of superintendent - all the good coppers get drummed out before they reach that level.

The most inspiring thing from this video, apart from the fact the young pc,s showed excellent understanding of the situation ...and took control, was that they were so proud and happy that they, collectively , did there uniform proud...well done lads..

I’ve watched more audits than I care to count and have seen all of the abuses suffered by AB, Yardley, PTTP, NNY, Mat12128 et al, and whilst this entailed less violence, I think the behaviour of that CSu and Inspector was amongst the very worst I have seen.
