Get those complaints in! Contribute to any pattern that the complaints make. Remember, they stick on the record whether upheld or not, so patterns are able to form, identifying (at the very least) 'iffy' cops, shifts, stations etc. This is something I urge the movement to do, as well as including cops that stand by & fail to intervene when their colleagues go rogue. They are complicit in the wrongdoings if they don't step in. More chance of spotting a McDonalds on Mars than a cop that corrects his offending colleagues.
And whilst I'm at it - why do they allow cops to resign when they're facing jail / arrest etc. The resignation should be rejected. Why should they be allowed to keep their pension by this act?

      - But I don't think we'll ever see it happen regularly,... these 'silent witnesses' who do NOT correct their colleagues at the first opportunity, should:
1/ Have a directive to use body-cam to record any - verbalised or indicated 'arrest/detainment' situation, and....
2/ At any request made by a (harassed/violated) member of the public, to RECORD the incident, ALL attending 'officers' must automatically do so.
(The incident report should also note ALL attending officers witnessing the incident)

You should report PC 6306 - when you asked him too identify, he initially said "No, it's private" - as he rather pathetically thought that was a clever riposte to your wish to (lawfully) retain the privacy of your identity. He is OBLIGED to provide his identity, but a member of the public is NOT - unless being arrested (or in traffic stop etc); as such his attempt at being 'clever' breached the Police's protocols and further undermined the trust and empathy that used to exist between public and Police.

Also remember, when asked for your details, the NPCC memo also states that, in the absence of reasonable suspicion, the officer MUST (not should) inform you, if asking for your details, that you are not required by law to give them. I've seen Officers ask for details hundreds of times. Only twice have I seen an Officer also add that giving them isn't required. This asking for details without making people aware of their right not to give them needs to be called out too. EDIT: what you said at 15 minutes is bang on, and how I have always felt.

I’m a pot user, I live in Newfoundland Canada. I moved here in 2008, shortly after we arrived pot was made legal. For all the years in the UK 🇬🇧 I was made to feel like a criminal, cloak and dagger stuff, always worried I’d be caught. How life has changed, everyone I know users cannabis products in one form or another. I like the THC in olive oil, much better than smoking. My arthritis pain is kept at bay with a small amount morning and night. I’m heading back over for a visit and the thought of going back to the dark days is quite scary. This pot debate has been going on for the last 50 years at least. The people need to hassle there MP’s to make changes in the laws. Your not a bad person for smoking a bit of pot it’s just another way the government/police have of controlling you. TIME To LEGALIZE.
