Another sizzling PTTP audit. I honestly think the PTTP is one of the finest auditors: ultra polite, knowledgeable, lightning fast replies and second to none attention to detail. These are a joy to watch and would make brilliant police training videos (if such things exist). Although PTTP is top level at this game, it is worrying how many people's rights must have been abused over the years, especially when their legal and procedural knowledge is limited and if their police interactions are not filmed. PCSOs are required by LAW as per section 42 of the police reform act 2002 to carry their designation cards and produce them to members of the public on request if they are relying on any of their powers. As for your complaint.. that will go to the sergeant where he will swiftly sweep it under their HUGE complaints carpet.

Matt another auditor revealed that the sergeant and higher management put officers under considerable pressure to obtain details. If they return from an incident without obtaining details they have a strip torn off them. So any complaintt is likely to land on deaf ears. That's really concerning, for as you say there is no legal obligation to provide details but those unaware of their rights have them violated. Well done for bringing up the details of civilian deaths in police custody v police officers on duty. Damn blue line gang sign. I loathe it because it symbolises current priority which is themselves first the public second. Protect and serve is no longer the priority.

Being a PCSO is a dead end job. There is no natural progression up the ranks like there is with constables. Just like a traffic warden or lollipop lady, there’s not really any opportunity for promotion.

Those female officers were laughable , the PCSO was really just as bad, this demonstrated all that is bad within the force. However there was also good demonstrated by the police, sadly let down by the famous 3 .

The quota hires always attack in groups of at least 2 and they try to win arguments by both releasing their shrill, untrained voices simultaneously so it throws the mind into a ball of confusion. The best defense is to let them get their emotions out before explaining to them rationally how ridiculous they are. They usually sputter and retreat but they’ll never try to find out the actual law and better themselves to be competent cops.
If you’re not allowed to video record in the police building because GDPR, then why did the 2 Police ladies have their body warn cameras recording?

They were so thick those two..years ago I saw a police woman who told me she used to be an English teacher before she became an officer, in front of me she wrote out a document on non headed paper which used the word destroy, but she, an ex English teacher, spelled it thus...DISTROY. I think the children were saved what might have been a dreadful level of tuition even if they weren't safe from grooming gangs

The mindset of these "establishment" people goes right to the top in this country. Dishing out orders to other people whilst doing themselves, what they've ordered others not to do.
I just find it so frustrating this stuff is still going on. How much auditing has to be done before the police get to grips with some basic law. Quite frankly it's disgraceful.
It will go on until the last bad apple and all the corruption is wiped clean from all public servants and their organisations that we the people pay for. As you can see from this clip only one good cop in the bunch at that station. There is a long way to go; particularly when the public know more about the law than those paid to uphold it.

PCSOs are required by LAW as per section 42 of the police reform act 2002 to carry their designation cards and produce them to members of the public on request if they are relying on any of their powers. As for your complaint.. that will go to the sergeant where he will swiftly sweep it under their HUGE complaints carpet.

Under the Police Reform Act (2002) the force are duty-bound to formally take and investigate the complaint. Nowhere in that policy and legislation does it state “but that doesn’t apply if you’re recording that report in a public place”. When will these goons learn …

I totally disagree with PCSOs being allowed to drive around in police cars. The idea of having them was to do foot patrols and deal with the public.
Matt another auditor revealed that the sergeant and higher management put officers under considerable pressure to obtain details. If they return from an incident without obtaining details they have a strip torn off them. So any complaintt is likely to land on deaf ears. That's really concerning, for as you say there is no legal obligation to provide details but those unaware of their rights have them violated. Well done for bringing up the details of civilian deaths in police custody v police officers on duty. Damn blue line gang sign. I loathe it because it symbolises current priority which is themselves first the public second. Protect and serve is no longer the priority.
