Office Chair Comfort Tier List CHEAT SHEET www.btod.com/c...
We've been in the search for the best office chairs when considering value. The Branch line is very intriguing, so we bought all three of their popular models. Ryan sat in them for an extended period of time to find out if the Branch Office Chairs were really that good.

Thank you for this video. Going in line with your last video, websites doing "best chair lists" like to promote the ergomic branch chair and I think it goes in line with exactly what you said, catches the eye, is cheap and gets people to click the affiliate link and make a purchase
Please review the Verve from Branch... Thanks.
I just received the Ergonomic chair (before finding any unbiased reviews) and I don’t find it that comfortable either and it feels like I’m in a recline position (which they say is better for the spine, but it doesn’t seem as supportive to me). What do you recommend at a similar price point or slightly higher (but not a $1k chair)? Thank you in advance!!
Any plans on reviewing their verve chair?
Branch has awful quality control! I received a defective seat that wouldnt lock into place and slid forward (impossible to slide back while sitting). Seat is also very hard and lumbar support too low on highest setting. Arm rests useless, wobbly and also slides forward and back super easily. Very unhappy with it overall. Will try to sell it.
I have the ergonomic chair for at least a year now and I had no idea you could move the seat forward...
OMG my legs feel so much better, it was like sitting on the edge of a fence for over a year....
This changes everything.. I almost bought a herman miller aeron just now, but I saw this video. THANKS
thanks for this👏
How would you compare the daily or the task to the Clatina chair in terms of comfort? Looking for a chair under $300 that also looks good.
Any plans to review new active chairs and standing desk seating options like QOR360, Movably Pro or Anthros?
I bought one a year ago and it has not held up well. The chair covering is shredded and was pilling within weeks. The wheels get a lot less smooth. The arms wobble like crazy and tightening doesn't help. It's basically like any other cheap chair, but it cost me $300.
The Daily looks less attractive than the others IMO.
all these office chairs backrest are way too small... they all go to or right under the shoulder. Totally garbage
I appreciate your well done review. Succinct and relevant information.
Dude Thank you for this
That's what we do. You're welcome! -Greg
How would you compare the Task Chair to the Caltina Mellet?
This chair is terrible. Feels like a typical cheap office chair. Almost all plastic, the seat cushion is hard as a rock as are the arm rests. Don’t waste your money.
I wonder what the weight capacity on the task is
250 lbs -GK
hey branch or colamy atlas? what would you pick
Awful chair. I'm 6'1 210 and the plastic dug into my back. Get a 2nd hand Herman Miller for the same price.
Doesn't look any different from an 80 dollar cheapo off Amazon.
Made from The SAME Shit, The SAME Way &I just can't see the extra worth.
I just bought the Branch Ergonomic chair and will be returning it. The seat is hard and uncomfortable. The arm rests are rock hard. I can feel the ridge of the lumbar support through the mesh.
Would you recommend?
The Ergonomic chair's armrests don't lock into place. When you stand up holding the armrests, they slide around (a lot!). Otherwise, it's a great chair. Branch really needs to address that nagging issue though.
Any chance you have drafting/ standing chairs review list in the works? I'm in the market and would love to know yalls recommendations
Great review. Thank you. Do you have a review of the Branch Verve chair?
Came here for the chair review, but so cool to see you have a Govee Glide light. Hope you’re enjoying it!
I’m glad I watched this. You cons are similar to other reviews I’ve seen
I bought their ergomic chair about a year ago based on a lot of great reviews. Really a piece of garbage. I switched back to my old chair and was going to use this one for another desk before I realized I was just taking up space for something I never want to sit in and put it out on the curb on garbage day. It was just horribly uncofomfortable no matter how it was adjusted. Also nothing connects flush or firm. Every single thing moves and rattles even when locked into place. It's just very a very cheap, low quality chair masqurading as "ergonomic" and somehow getting good reviews. I imagine people giving it the good reviews never actually used it for more than 1/2 hour. The branch website will not post poor reviews by the way.
I'm so disappointed I didn't return my Branch chair. I've had it a year and it's in worse condition than my 5-10-year-old back-up chairs that were used for years.
The AllSteel Mimeo and Evo chairs come to mind.
Have you guys heard of AllSteel chairs? I was wondering why there are not many reviews out there since these chairs are in the price range of Steelcase and HermanMiller. Thnx.
It’s because they are a contract line of furniture which means it is very difficult for one individual person to buy one of their chairs unless it is on the second hand market. Our channel caters to individuals so we focus on chairs that are accessible to most people. Brands like Haworth, Steelcase and Herman Miller have done a good job of making their chairs available to individuals so we have focused more on brands like those. -RB
@@btodtv Thanks! You guys do a thorough job at reviewing them.
Would you go Task Chair or Clatina Mellet for comfort all day, I am 5'8. Thanks!
Mellet with headrest and then pull out the lumbar support. -RB
@@btodtv why with the headrest? Because this person is 5'8". I'm 6' and am considering the Mellet. Ty!!
thanks so much for this. i’ve been on the fence between the branch task chair, the fully desk chair, and a couple similar models from wayfair as i’ve been trying to upgrade my wfh setup. this review got me to finally pull the trigger on the branch. i’m hoping it works out. thank you!
How are you liking the chair so far? Which one did you get?
How are you liking the chair so far? Which one did you get?
@@carlywhitney4487 I've had it a year and it's held up worse than a staples chair I bought 5 years ago second-hand.
is it really THAT bad the ergonomic chair? does the backrest is really that uncomfortable as mentioned? (like you can literally feel the shapes). Would you recommend the Ergonomic chair for a 6"3 person? is the seat cushion firm enough to not sink easily and therefore, to not feel the bottom of the chair?
I bought the task chair based on this review and it was an awful mistake. The chair itself is comfortable and issue with that but the cushion material I have no idea what did they do to make it that bad. It is like sitting on grill because of the amount of heat your body generate and has no where to go. I have never set on material that bad even with 10 dollar chair.
Came here for a chair review but where can I find that desk???
Exactly what I was thinking. What desk is that and in what color?
Branch Task chair looks to be an exact copy of La-Z-Boy Joel chair except without headrest( a very plushy one). I got mine from Staples.
How did you like the Joel. I saw it a staples and considered buying it but I’ve been searching for other options. It seemed comfortable but the armrest felt wide and hard.
It was overall comfortable, loved headrest. Sold it since then and got Steelcase LeapV2
Thank you guys for another very informative video, could you help me choose a chair, please? I spend mostly 4-5 hours on the computer daily, just surfing /gaming and I've tried out the gesture and didn't like the seat cushion as it was too hard for my comfort. I've noticed that I also like to lean back in the chair a lot. All in all I really loved every single feature of the gesture chair except for the seat cushion. Thank you.
Please do video top 3 chairs for IT guys (12 hours day in chair) where budget is no use.
You’re ballin in cash
Probably the aeron since it has forward tilt
I just got the ergonomic version this weekend and I agree with your points. I don’t have issue with the mesh back but the arm rests could be more comfortable. I also find the seat positions myself more forward than I like.
Idk if anybody else had this issue with it, but the chair feels like it's misaligned. Maybe I put it together wrong but it was pretty straightforward. Due to it feeling lopsided/misaligned, my lower back is hurting.
Lower back is killing me on the ergonomic chair. I ended up breaking if the lumbar support
Really interesting video! You guys should look into Okamura office chairs. I heard they’re pretty much in line with the Herman Miller Aeron (especially their Contessa Seconda model).
I would say they are a noticeable step down from Herman Miller when it comes to quality and comfort. They are on par with the look though. We were just at their showroom a couple weeks ago and got a chance to sit in a handful of models. -RB
