So how is it after 6 months?
@@garois_kindalame2757 very happy with it, it still holds up for the price. Not nearly as comfy as a proper Herman miller like in my office but it’s very solid for the money. My main complaints are that the arm rests can be a bit tiring after a bit and I wish the chair went up a bit higher but otherwise definitely still good
Would be amazing if you could get a google sheet document or something similar where you rank your new chair reviews compared to the old ones that you already reviewed, other than that the channel is amazing! Would get the clatina but unfortunatly not on EU

I very regularly recommend the Clatina Mellet to folks asking for a good chair recommendation around the $200 mark. It's a fantastic Leap wanna-be that has an amazing headrest and some pretty great ergonomics for those 5'10" and under.
I still use it at the work office (but had upgraded to a Haworth Fern at home) and can go all day without issue.
I own the fern and leapv2.
Both have the same issue and its their cushion. Terrible hip pain from them
I'm using the clatina mellet and its lasted longer than both of the other two chairs I've used.
Appreciate the insight for others looking for their perfect chair and comments (for the algorithm!) I was blown away by the value of the Clatina!!!
If you've used the cloth (non-mesh) Clatina, can you comment on the quality of the cushion?

We just bought the Sihoo M18 thanks to this video, in green. Your discount code basically negated the shipping cost as well. Appreciate it! You saved us from the mistake of buying a different gamer chair .
As a heavier 6' man, the Sihoo M18 as a whole might be able to handle 330lbs but the cushion unfortunately can't take that. My weight varies right now between 295-305 and I bottom out in the chair brand new. I'd honestly say the max weight for the cushion is 250 at most. Everything else about the chair is pretty great especially for the price
As a 260lb dude, here's a decent tip.
If you have an old comfort pad for your bed (like a memory foam pad or something), slice it to fit your chairs cushion and put it on top of it. I also suggest buying a honeycomb seat cushion to put on top, I recommend getting one that may be bigger than your seat pad, trust me. If it fits perfectly, it's not gonna be comfortable.
This combination I have found to be very comfortable.

I've ordered the M18(I have been using a literal 5 cent plastic chair for literally years so no matter which of these I got it would have been a massive upgrade). The M18 is on sale right now for half off on Amazon and it wasn't disqualified by you so I'll trust it. Thank you for your review.

guys at BTODtv ranked Ticova higher than the Sihoo M18. why is that?
they said the backrest is much like the seat, it feels like a rock, it's way too firm and the lumbar support jabs you in the back.

I enjoy your chair reviews and love all of the puns from your name. For anyone considering the Ticova Ergonomic, it is regularly $120 after coupon on Amazon. Don't pay more than that to maximize the value if what you need is a less expensive chair.

Thanks for this, need to replace a chair that is slowly falling apart on me and it looks like bang for buck the Mellet is a perfect option till I have some time to save up for something nicer.
The SIHOO looked so promising and at a great price but, being 5’ 2”, the seat depth makes it a no go for me. Unfortunately, it’s very obvious that most chairs don’t have anyone short on the design team.

Hello, I was wondering if you can take the arms off of the Clatina Mellet. I hate arms on my chairs and would love to get this to upgrade from my $60 dollar bucket chair but the design makes it look like they are essential. As long as I can remove them I will probably buy this immediatly for my back health lol.
Hey! So the beauty (and perhaps the downside) of the Mellet is that it's SUPER easy to install because the upper half comes assembled. This means the arms are already attached to the backrest. As far as I can see on the manual, there is no way to remove them. I'll check again when I get into the studio tomorrow!

Been about 3 days since i bought the Clatina. Assembly was easy af and like Legos. Took like 10 min or less. Not the biggest fan of the lumbar support but it's alright but no deal breaker for me. Super sturdy chair with no wobble. The recliner is easy and like he said in the video, it takes no muscle to stay reclined and it's pretty comfortable. Overall for the office I'm pretty happy with the chair compared to my old basic cheap office chair with no recline feature

too bad about the efomao seat, I was about to buy it. I really want an office chair that's inspired by racing chairs where you get the head rest.
There were to many reviews about the plastic base breaking apart in less than a years use. Not my #1 choice.

Hey! I think either of the 2 chairs would work, but like I mentioned in the Clatina portion, it depends on how you sit. In your current chair, if you find yourself scooching your booty ALL the way back and not just a bit slid forward, then the SIHOO would be the better choice. If you find yourself OK with your booty just a tiny bit forward in the chair, then Clatina Mellet for its build quality and excellent value for the price

I've contacted Razer about their Fujin to try to get it in for review...I'm VERY skeptical about their regular Fujin. Not sure if you can see from the pictures, but you'll find the under chair adjustments for the regular Fujin looks identical to what you see on these $200 chairs. That tells you a lot about the chair. If they don't get back to me soon, I'll just order it myself to review! More to come

if you can't take the 5 min it takes to adjust the tention of the spring once, for a chair you will most likely be sitting in weeks of your ife, maybe it's not the positioning that is off but rather your priorities :D

I dint see much of a cushion on any of these chairs. You left out the realspace fennington chair which is popular. 300.00 at Staples but only 140.00 on Amazon. (Staples and Office depot are a rippoff)

The problem is that the clatina mellet is not available, I live in Italy, I can't find it in any online shop that ships to Italy.
There is also the clatina version with fabric backrest which is much more beautiful.

I don't have any reason to believe it couldn't accommodate taller folks without a headrest. Maybe 6'4 max? Not sure how the backrest edge would interact with the shoulder/shoulder blade area

Im 6'4" and 330 lbs, its so hard to find reasonably priced chairs that accommodate my height and weight, but i desperately need a new chair
Efomao has a normal seat with 400lb rating for 279 on amazon... plus Fabric choices instead of PU Leather. I Kinda lean towards the Clatina Mellet. I like the tilt mechanism better it looks like it would last longer and is much easier to use. Most of the other chairs have that knob set-up under the seat and I hate that set-up, it's cheap and in a short time they get squeaky and noisy when you lean back. The only other problem I get is the seat base. I keep getting that nice comfortable padding and it's great when you first sit in it but after about a 1/2 hour or so your ass is killing you, they don't stay consistent as far as comfort, I hope that Clatina is better.

@@KKwith4eggs I got it a few days ago and I have to say it's a great chair! You can set most things to fit our kind of size to make it very comfortable. Only thing that isn't suited for our height is the headrest(as expected) which is more of a neck rest, but it's still fine :)

I found the sihoo M18's lumbar support to be too hard, it is literally just a plastic pad with a layer of fabric on top. That's the only thing I can't stand about it
i dont think you really check the comments anymore, the clatina isnt available in the uk so im resorting to the m18 but it costs £30 more than the ticova chair you previously disqualified for being a worse version of it considering the price gap should i get the ticova?
I do check comments, but it’s been holidays here! I’ve answered this question a few times I thought in the comments. For 30 euros less, the ticova could be a good option! I think the cushion would flatten faster though unfortunately
I got one of the shihoo chairs once and it was absolute garbage. Backrest never fully upright and the materials were garbageeeeee and sitting in it the hard plastic frame digs into the sides of your legs if you’re tall. Im 191cm 100kg
Man, I don't know the spread of your audience, but if you have a significant part of it coming from Europe, maybe you could do a list of chairs available over here? Some of them (especially the budget ones) are rather hard to get here

How's the Mellet compared to the Fern?
Mellet is a fantastic value, but the Fern is superior in many ways. Flex/movability inside the chair, warranty, breathability, quality of fabric and cushion, arms aren’t the greatest but superior to the mellet.

The prices seem to change depending on their popularity. The ticova is 150 euro while the Sihoo is almost double the price at 290
That's odd, bc I see sales come in for like 140 euros. If they're doing that, that really sucks
@@Ahnestly BRO! When I searched Sihoo m18 the first result was 290 euro chair (the m57, which also seems to be very popular). I just went on amazon to check the reviews for the Ticova. and noticed the Sihoo m18 on the side for 160 (black firday sale)! Immediately canceled my order. Searched Sihoo again, turns out they have a bunch of different models. I bought the black m18 with the optional leg rest! I'm so hyped hahahaha. The sihoo seems to be 199 for the base black m18, 200 for the grey one. Both are the m18 according to the model number. The black one has an option to pick a foot rest for another 15 or so euro, which I picked because why not. The grey one does not. The black one also has another option for rollerblade wheels. But unfortunately you can't have both the roller blade wheels and the footrest. Kinda wish they had an option for both, but ho well..

What's your take on Branch Furniture chairs?

how come on your two best chairs amazon has a slew of nightmare situations involving both- from customer service to quality and teh chairs just falling apart?
I am not going to dismiss those reviews, but usually, people who are unhappy are more likely to leave a review than people who are happy.
That being said, I wish there was a magic bullet chair out there that could be sub $200 with incredible warranty, quality control, and excellent customer service where people care bc they get paid fair wages. Unfortunately, you'd probably be looking at way more than $130-200/per chair to pay for all of that, at which point, people would not be interested in buying the chair (see how many people scoff at my videos where I review chairs that are $1,000-$2,000!).
I can only speak to my experience with the chairs and for both, it was great. Neither company knew I was purchasing their chair - just bought it from my personal Amazon account.

If you are skeptical of my review, maybe just take the seat out and sit on it and see what you think. If you assemble, gonna be a PIA to disassemble and shove into the box!

What would you recommend for 6'3 220 ?
i have the first chair and my chair is literally opposite of what youre saying, the seat is super comfy but the back rest, there is this bump in it near the lower back that is soooo horrible. its fixed a bit with the pillow but i wish i could mount the pillow. overall its like a 6/10
Trust me man...compared to the other chairs at this price point, this one feels phenomenal...hahaha
