The problem with anti-aging now is so many of them don't look younger, they just look like strange aliens

So true! They look like their faces are rubber. It's even easy to tell the ones that use retinol for a long time. G. Whitmer is an example. Rubber face.

I'm so into skin care i have tried retinol , aha bha acids, vitamin c serum hyaluronic acid and so many korean skin care products, lotions and potions you name it and i believe the best anti aging cream in the market is vaseline my grandma used it for years and her skin is always smooth and glowy now people are calling it slugging but it make sense since it is scientifically proven to stop transdermal water loss in the skin

And Vaseline really protect your skin! If you want the same effect but a more intresting texture and moisturizing effect you can use classic Nivea (the blue jar)🙂

I agree with you. I have very sensitive skin which has been prone to rashes since I was born and have tried all range of products. Vaseline works best for my skin when it is irritated (even better than medicinal or baby cremes) and I think the reason is because it has only one ingredient: Petrolatum. The more ingedients skin care has - even if it is the best and / or most expensive - the more likely there is one which I am allergic to.

Ponds cold cream is an occlusive and stops water loss too.ive spent up to a 10000,$ on a serum but always go back to ponds

Think about who was controlling looking young in Hollywood a bunch of elderly men controlling how actors had to look - completely insane. They best skincare is keeping it simple including cosmetics and being joyful and doing good to others.

I have to say you’ve gotten a lot better at the way you deliver your videos. You sound more confident and a lot less shaky in your delivery. The scripts are also really good and well researched, which they always have been

Hi Laura! I just want to let you know that your videos really impact my life. I love seeing how you show us the beauty of history and that we can take a little bit of it to each of our vanities or dressing tables. I used to think taking care of my skin, hair, and body took loads of money and expensive products, but you've shown me that I can use products within my budget and clever tricks used by the all-time greats to achieve everyday glamour. Your videos are so much fun and full of information; and tbh, you're my favorite Hollywood star ⭐😄

As a kid I always thought Hollywood actresses like Elizabeth tailor or Marilyn monroe were in their forties or fifties when they were stars. Probably because of their "granny hairstyles" and oldschool behaviour 😅

I really enjoy taking care of myself, understanding that aging is natural and to be expected. I just want to do it well. Ha! I’ve found that consistency is the MAIN ingredient to success with regards to any healthcare or regimen of any sort. I find the simple products the most reliable. Beauty standards change but finding YOUR own beauty and expressing it well is really the key. I always enjoy your videos.

I’m a grandma. I prefer men as young as my kids. Even if I could buy them like the men do I wouldn’t go there. Although I have had offers. It’s gross because it’s obviously a mismatch. When DiCaprio dates someone who is too young to know who he is will he then realize that he looks ridiculous.

All those old actresses look one million times more glamorous, classy and full of personality than any actress nowadays. Same with actors .... now they are all the same and full of plastic surgery, that doesn't make them better or more beautiful nor looking younger (in millions of cases all the opposite) , only weirder and like clones. Gool OLD times !
