Thanks for watching! Typically we do take out the mishits like that. I probably should have made some better judgment calls there. Will be more diligent about that in the future - Drew
Just updated my TS3 and got fit into GT2. That thing is a revelation. Unbelievably forgiving. Super tight dispersion, consistent spin and added about 7-8 yds of distance. It pays to wait a few cycles. Was definitely overdue for a fitting since I've been working on my swing. The forgiveness and spin are I'd attribute GT2 just being better and the distance and dispersion is from a combo of the new shaft and the GT2.
I got fitted today, and there is a certain "resistance" I've felt with the G430 Lst which gave me the confidence to smash it. It feels like vibration or resistance or hum that allows me to go all out. Started last year, and Im up to 165 mph ballspeed mostly out of the middle so my fitter said max 10k wasnt worth it.
Does it really make sense to do a vs without taking 30 minutes to fit him for the drivers ? I mean 60 ft vs 90 ft......how is this even comparable ? At least get them flying through the same window. My playing partner just went to a LIV event and said the G430 lst's in play by non sponsored players was mind blowing. (Even Titleist guys)
Definitely some stark differences here and could partially be due to just a few more uncharacteristic swings by Jake with the PING vs the GT. It's by no means a perfect test -- and the G430 LST has been superb in fittings to your point. It's getting a TON of play by non-contracted players on all tours
I don't see the point of buying a g430 right now with the season ending in a few weeks for a lot of the country and a likely replacement coming over the winter. Wait to buy used in the spring or go gt3.
Ping is coming out with their new woods in the beginning of the year anyways (Thats why they are all discounted $100 right now). If you want a new club NOW, get the GT series.
Combination of perhaps a worse set of swings from Jake and an imperfect setup. The G430 LST has performed really well in fittings and this is definitely an outlier in terms of its performance in other fittings or tests
Our outdoor trackman unit is out of commission for the moment so we used a Full Swing. Moving forward, especially with winter approaching, we'll be filming in our store and using our indoor Trackman launch monitors that feature the tracers
I usually like the videos you guys do but TBH I'm not seeing the point of this one. You started off by saying both had a "similar shaft". It seems that you wanted to compare the stock offerings because you could have fitted both with the same shaft to make things more scientific. If that's the case then the right way to do this is like a club fitting where you make on-the-fly adjustments to max out both clubs. If you wanted to make the video shorter then you could have done some or all of the work ahead of time in the bay to get most out of each club and then just state that.
Thanks for watching and for the feedback. We unfortunately did not have the components necessary to fit both clubs with the same shaft. So yes, that does make this an imperfect comparison. I do like your idea of adjusting our comparison videos like this to become a battle of which driver can be maximized the best through fitting adjustments. We'll have to try that out! I appreciate you watching and providing your feedback. - Drew
Hey I know this is kinda dumb but I was considering ordering a full set of used clubs (havent played since HS 20 years ago) and was wondering if you guys had a promo code for viewers? Also could someone check over my order and make sure im not making any horrible mistakes?
Hi and thanks for reaching out! I would get in touch with our support team - either through the chat feature on 2ndswing.com or email service@2ndswing.com! - Drew
@@2ndswing ordered everything last night. Thanks tho. Got everything from yall but a driver and irons :) loved the site btw and will be using yall again when I start looking at upgrades
I’m not sure I see the point of keeping low smothered hooks in the data sample. Extreme mishits should be thrown out.

Great feedback! Love to hear of the gains you've seen. We've been super impressed by GT and what you've seen in your game is no surprise.

Going for g430 kai li white and it feels amazing. Had a poorly aligned mizuno stx220 before
Love to hear this!!

Not sure the G430 was set up quite right for this test. 9deg up to a 10 deg flat setting with the weight in the toe. Not really a fair comparison.
Looking forward to 10k vs. GT2
Filming that one soon!
Same shafts in both heads?

Best fit I ever did was in the fall, swings change over a winter break.

If you just want 100% latest and greatest I agree.
They're heavily discounted, aside from 10k
@@lawbinson Exactly, I picked up a LST for 280 and my playing partner got fitted for the GT at the same time and he dropped 1000.
Hight at 67… something wrong in the setup?
