Blender is God because it's free this software do everything like animation, Sculpting, modeling, architecture, and mutch more no software complicated for blender
It is also because Blender has it's ofn separate fund (including patreon as i remember). So, if u feel like helping our great buddy Blender, pay a coin :D
Thank you for filling in the details on the differences of these engines; I’m so relieved to hear that blender is a one size fits almost anything platform. So amazing 😻
Vray was made for Autodesk 3ds max, only later it was made for Maya, Houdini etc. And now even for Blender which is interesting. I find it interesting not a single render frame from Vray inside Blender was shown in this video.
When you do these videos with examples, can you please write the name of the render engine used in the corner of the image, please? For instance, at 01:45 is a car scene. If, in the corner it said, "V-ray" or "Cycles", it would be immensely helpful.
I've come across blender a few months ago , all i can see that it works like a charm because it concludes everything in one software just like revit which I often use to create plans . When opening blender it's faster than sketchup because of the interface which blender had is pretty easy to work with rather than sketchup which relies on plugins too much . I've finished the modelling phase in blender , it seems that I clearly understand that it is much better to model in blender than sketchup , for the texturing part yeah when I see that noise texture when rendering in cycle , I happend to recognize it as vray thing at first
The whole "Blender is free" argument is a moot point. If you compare engines, compare them for capability and not if you have to pay 40-80 bucks a month for it. Anyone considering V-Ray or other professional grade render engines and wants to make money from using it, will not have an issue paying a V-Ray sub. If you cannot afford that as an actual pro artist, you are only a pretender and not an actual pro artist... In that case, Cycles is indeed the only choice, and not a bad one either. But it has nothing to do with which engine is actually better.
Blender isnt used in Hollywood movies becoz it is open source means the company will not be held responsible if there is any bug during movie production.
@@aryaman3083 Blender was used in Hollywood into many films and series, ask Jama Jurabaev is one of the artist who use Blender. He makes scenes for Terminator Genesis, Jurassic Park New World other movies in the past is Sin City etc. Also Blender is used in game production, and is still used.
Daz 3D all the way none of these lame 3d programs has the Genesis Models ;) who the fuck wants to render interiors all day? you need to fill those empty interiors with something right? you cant to it if you dont use Daz 3D

He was referring to Cycles at the time. He mentioned that at 1:40 but yes, it would be helpful if it was listed for noobs.

if u mean to do Render passes well, yeah
yes it has, named render passes
Nice comparison vid
Thanks for this video, super helpful starting out!
Hope Vray makes Something for Blender
Alreadz available isnt it ?
@@kewa_design yes it is
@@danibiyarslanov yeha but the addon does not work for blender 3.0 upwards. they need to have an official addon from chaos
to make it worth buying
Eventually we'll need to have a Cycles X vs everything else once Blender 3.0 is out of Alpha and when it's fully featured :)
that would be fun, cycles x atm is really fast, but need to port some cycles classic features like volume, shadow catchers and so on, but wait for it.
there are even "4.0 alpha" here, but they are not fully functioning yet
Vray for blender is there 🔥
your vray experience summed up: "Unable to acquire Render Node licence"
7:34 could you tell me what the name of that movie
yo dude, can you make a Tutorial for Vray engines?
Of course VRay is better, blender cycles still doesn't support Deep EXR
Cycles is also available for C4D
Who wants cycles for c4d?
